SAI System
The Secondary Air Injection System consists of an air pump, a vacuum operated air-valve to let air into the headers, and a solenoid to allow manifold vacuum to reach this air-valve. Several tables are used to adjust fuel enrichment if the SAI System is active during a cold-start, but they are undefined as it is not necessary to tune them.
If the SAI System is removed for off-road or racing purposes, the following tables should be disabled to prevent activation of Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
- Disable "Secondary Air Pump - Logic"
- Disable DTC 35 (if SAP relay disconnected)
- Disable DTC 62 (if SAP solenoid disconnected)
