Cycle Fill

Exchange, automatic fill; the supply we fill and send out once a month. All facilities are counted down to the 1st of the month and start their cycle fill that day.

The current day's countdown is shown on the left of the online OE Training Manual. This would imply that they started the medication tomorrow, adjust as needed using the examples chart below.

Please note: Insurance must pay for at least 31 days per fill to enable us to fill medications on cycle. If the insurance limits to 30 days, please uncheck the cycle fill box and add REO to the end of the directions. We can only fill these for 30 days at a time after the facility requests them.

We also cannot cycle fill medications that come in a package that cannot be broken. Examples include bulk powders, tablets/capsules that the manufacturer states cannot be repackaged, inhalers, birth control, insulin, topical medications, etc...
