Heliocentric View of Planetary Motion - First Six Planets

Here is a nice movie of the first six planets revolving around the Sun. Notice that the closer the planet, the faster it moves, in accordance with Kepler's Third Law.Notice the asteroids moving between Mars and Jupiter.

Also notice that the planets orbit the Sun in a counterclockwise fashion, when the Solar System is viewed from above (or north of) the Ecliptic Plane.
