Tycho Brahe lived from 1546 AD to 1601 AD. He was a Danish astronomer, and is considered the last of the great "naked eye" astronomers, as all his data was collected without the aid of telescopes.Tycho (he was contemporaneously called by his first name) is today best known as the person who ultimately provided his assistant Johannes Kepler with sufficiently accurate planetary motion data (primarily on the planet Mars) for Kepler to ultimately determine his Three Laws of Planetary Motion.
