The Nox Gigas Theory

The Nox Gigas Hypothesis “Night Giant “in Latin is an accumulative process that has evolved for me over the years. I began my odyssey into the cryptid study of the Emergent Hominoid Sasquatch in 2011(Nebraska B.F.R.O Expedition) This has led me to reflect on previous experiences that have reshaped my relationship to nature. I have concluded that there is a link not only to Homo Sapiens but divergent evolutionary paths of light and darkness that converge in our modern world.

Through my personal experiences and ongoing research compiled in the Nox Gigas study I have concluded several revelations that in fact Hairy Giants existed as described by Native American lore and that they continue to exist today. I will outline corroborating evidence that are based in fact and are scientific by all measure. My theory will consider life of Homo sapient and Relict Hominoid and their direct and indirect influences.

We humans have a propensity to be egocentric in our acceptance and understanding of the world around us that maybe different than the societal accepted norm. This is a historical fact when you look at the common knowledge of any given period had its limits to the social acceptability of the time. Example: The earth is flat and the universe revolves around our planet. We know now that these premises are in fact false and are limited in scope. None the less they were a repetitive way of thinking that perpetuates itself in our psyche even today. I am preparing you to consider the premises of what I will be explaining. Just as a wood worker will sand a piece of wood before using it on a project!

I am talking about Sasquatch the “Wildman of the woods” a West Coast Salish Native American term. In the spirit of Native American oral history of which, there has been names for an upright Hairy Giant in nearly all regions of the country. I have chosen the Latin Term Nox Gigas “Night Giant” for my study. The reasons for this including the aforementioned Native American tradition but to include a term that is specific for all regions of the Americas including Europe. The theories presented are global in reach and the many local names associated with this Giant are too regionalized. One of my favorites from the southern U.S the ‘Wood Booger” is just such an example that has regional flare but loses its scientific credibility. Although my own experiences in the bush, when I have had rocks and tree branches thrown at me, I can see how the Wood Booger name has stuck in these regions. Latin terms are used in Zoological Nomenclature and the differences in morphology of the Nox Gigas and Homo Sapiens can largely be related to their adaptations to the dark and their overall greater size and strength than humans. Their distinctive feature of a large foot is a tale tell sign of their size. The mid tarsal break identified by Dr Jeffery Meldrum of the RHI "Relict Hominoid Inquiry is an amazing scientific contribution to understanding their overall morphology. Scott Nelson, Navy Linguistic states that Sasquatch have a language and speak twice the rate as Man. Source Ron Moreheads Siera Sounds recording. Does this imply they think twice as fast as we do too? A sobering thought when considering their potential brain cavity could be twice our own. We thought we were the higher primates of the planet, hmmm.

Little is known of the origins of the Nox Gigas but the evidence that does exist paints a picture that parallels our own existence even criss crossing the Homo sapient gene pool historically. The Nox Gigas is an ancient being, here in Nebraska there are Glacial relicts of coniferous Pine forests along the canyons of the Niobrara river. These pockets of ecological time capsules continue to hold life for thousands of years as glacial relicts. The zoological inhabitants of this unique habitat are fed by the natural springs of the aquifer below. I believe the Nox Gigas has also survived in these glacial relict environments and continues today. A hybrid Relict Hominoid who has interbreed with the Native Indigenous peoples as they began to populate this region. Is the Nox Gigas the original Homin inhabitant of Earth?

We are not as unique as we like to think in terms of life but we do have individual features to our planet and our existence that lend to specific traits that make us who we are individually. To be human is to be born dependent on our parents to survive for many years up until adult hood. We walk upright with an uneven gait and need clothing and shelter food and water for survival. Those are a given but specific to our DNA. We shape our environment to meet our needs through clearing forests for farming and building structures that meet our needs as a society. We rely on trade and cooperation largely to succeed as a modern human in a global system. We have emerged increasingly more removed from the world our ancestors survived in and more rapidly than known history. We communicate through language, mathematics and social structures that convey our values and beliefs. Am I building a fair pictures of us oh yes, we are incredibly weak and ill-equipped to deal with the natural world of our planet. Our survival as a species has largely relied on our developed intelligence and ability to reproduce and use the benefits from new inventions/innovations. That was an important point. Did you catch that “We are incredibly weak and ill-equipped for our planet “biologically”. The late Lloyde Pye pointed out how we are lacking some chromosomes, humans have 46 and other higher primates have 48. They are either missing or we were designed without them- hmmm.

Who are we? Well I will tell you what we are not. We are not Sasquatch a Nox Gigas who thrives in the natural world free from Homosapiens. They are adapt at traversing at Night with bioluminescent sight and are much larger in stature than humans 6 ft to 12 ft historically. Giant foot prints, hair covered and much thicker robust in build from skeletal frames and skulls unearthed. Eye witnesses match these descriptions. Skulls found in Love lock Nevada beneath Bat guano matched the stories passed down of a race of Red haired Giants who were feared by the Native Americans. One skull still had the red hair attached to it and corroborates this historical account of their existence. There were skulls found at the cave on display at a Nevada museum. See (Love Lock cave) link below. Ron Moorehead investigates the cave and the giant hand print he photographs mysteriously disappears a short time later. This is an alarming example of archaeological sabotage as a continued effort to suppress the truth. I believe the eye witness accounts of the time period and have become increasing skeptical of institutional white washing of history. The Smithsonian studied Robust Neanderthal type skeletons of the Nebraska Loess Man ten miles north of Omaha in the early 1900's. See Nebraska Loess Man below. See Jemez article NM Homin Contagion Theory. This story corroborates to me the Lovelock find in 1911.

The Morphology of a Nox Gigas is well outlined in the Patterson Gimlin film. Russian researchers Dmitri Bayanov and Dr. Igor Burtsev were integral in providing the scientific study of the Female hominoid. Research by Dr. John Bindernagel is a persuasive scientific evidence of the existence of these Hominoids. The late Dr. Grover Krants detailed a remarkable observation from the Patterson Gimlin film in a (In search of TV episode from 1977). Grover stated that the ankle placement of the Sasquatch was set forward differing from Homo Sapiens. This would account for their ability to move fluently with a greater capacity for weight bearing. This is consistent with eyewitness accounts and conclusive enough for me to state that robust skeletons have been unearthed in burial mounds documenting their existence in the past. Here we have clear evidence that they exist in the present and have continued to exist in a reclusive manner.

The gathering evidence of reported sightings of juvenile Sasquatch Nox Gigas is that there is a prevalence of two or more off spring "twins". Sets of young Nox Gigas have been seen all over the USA. This is common in deer and bear off spring and appears to give the Nox Gigas a survival advantage in the natural world. Their numbers are rebounding and they continue to flourish in all parts of the USA as well as other parts of the World. The hybridized Nox Gigas is the genetic cousin to the Homo sapiens. All early hominoids bred as they emerged from their biological and geographical homelands. Giants were and are genetic outliers that are latent in ancient DNA. Bigfoot is a remnant of ancient genetic hominoid interbreeding. (see Emergent Homin theory)

The Nox Gigas theory proposes that the Giant people who have flourished throughout this continent did not go extinct but were depopulated through disease, war and or natural disasters. The fragmented remnants of their once vast populous became lost to the surviving population relegated to substance survival. The evidence of their exsistence is in the sightings themselves. Bigfoot sightings mapped nationally mirror Karst habitat. The Karst habitat of wet and dry caves and the Riparian forests are essential to their existence. Their larger size needed to be protected from the heat of the day. They have the ability to see in complete darkness and forage freely at night. They remain hidden from the terrestrial Homo sapiens as a survival adaptation preserving their numbers to rebound as agriculture encroaches on their way of life. They now exist in the wild life refuges, state and federal parks, Native American reservations and the periphery of urban sprawl. Their forest signs of tree and stick structures are markers of their current flourishing numbers.

There have been more recent sightings of large foot prints 24 to 36 inches that seem to be beyond the average size of a large male Sasquatch. In 2015 I was in Missoula Montana for a conference and went to a Ghost hunters presentation at the local library. After the speaker had completed his presentation I introduced myself and he told me he had heard earlier that week loud footfalls coming down the Blue Mountain Range. He said he could hear it inside his home and it was so loud it could be heard throughout the whole canyon. I told him that sounds bigger than a Sasquatch. I told the story to Duke from Worlld Bigfoot Radio and he thought it had to be a mountain giant.

I have attached a map of Emergent Hominoid sightings for the U.S "below" It is a modern day map of Sasquatch sightings. The map of Karst habitat can literally over lap this sightings map. It is no coincidence that the Nox Gigas continues to live where they always have existed. Should it surprise you that a Gigas would be hair covered! There are references of Gilgamesh /Enkidu (Sumerian earliest known story) that describe the very thing. I suspect that the hybrid Relict hominids who were closet to the DNA of Homo sapiens from interbreeding shared our likeness more closely. I propose they also suffered the greatest loss of life from disease and the lone survivors were the hairier cousins the modern Nox Gigas that exists today. Descriptions range from ape like facial features to more human looking and even mongoloid in appearance. This may have led to inbreeding that occurred when their numbers decreased. Relegated to a life in the shadows, their survival linked to their ability to remain hidden form the terrestrial Homo sapiens. The subterranean Emergent Hominoid relinquished their domain to the terrestrial Homo sapiens culture. The Nox Gigas still rule the night just beyond the gaze of the blind in the dark, the Homo sapiens.

Our DNA may represent proof we are related to early Hoimins in Africa. Time will tell as the more we gather DNA of Sasquatch how we are linked to them historically. My research of Emergent Homin out of Sub Saharan Africa has some eerie parallels to a hybrid history.

One of the greatest researchers of Sasquatch John Green details stone footprints from 100 million years ago in his book "Sasquatch The Apes Among Us" He does not make a connection to the modern Sasquatch , but I will. The forty years since he wrote this book science and the world has a greater view of history. In light of the Smithsonian cover up of Giant skeletons and the current destruction of the Sumerian artifacts in the Middle East our history has been hidden from the general society for reasons unknown at this time. If you except Bigfoot tracks as evidence as John Green does then his confirmation of tracks along side of Dinosaurs corroborate to me that the ancestors of the Nox Gigas is an ancient being. Giant in comparison to Human, Gorilla , Bear and Sasquatch. Sightings are rare but increasing in numbers. A sighting of a purported giant on the Omaha Rez had me thinking about the reality of outliers in emergent hominoid populations. Above Don Monroe had found a large handprint in Lovelock cave Nevada. I was personally given a story while in Missoula, Montana 2015 from a (ghost investigator) that he had heard something very large run down Blue mountain just outside of Missoula. He said he could hear it from inside his house and sounded huge. It ran down the mountain in the middle of the night and he could hear it bounding through the area. I became a believer in the Giant (over 12 feet tall) hominoids as more of these stories have corroborated this outlier. See the above video Rez Citonga for Gigas story!

Sasquatch A youtube story with factual information that I agree with regarding the Nox Gigas! This information validates much of my research and has confirmed to me they are subterranean.

I am theorizing that these giants suffered the same fate as the Indigenous people had. The facts are Natives lost greater than 50% of their population and in some cases greater than 90% of their people to small pox and other diseases brought by Europeans. Devastating to their history and way of life, this may have led to the decline of the population and precipitated a fragmented existence that is the norm today.

In Ohio there have been burial mounds unearthed that contained large groups of giant skeletons. This would indicate either a die off consistent to disease, war or natural disaster. The assumption that these Giants died off in the same numbers of the Native American Tribes would be consistent with a similar genetic link and predisposition to disease. Mound building was used for their earthen lodges and purposes of burial. The giants preferred to relegate themselves to the darkness choosing earthen lodges as dwellings and demonstrating nocturnal behaviors in hunting, travel and foraging. These have advantages when living alongside terrestrial Natives who thrived during the daylight hours.

The Last Judgment “Mural behind the alter at the Basilica in the Vatican”

Michelangelo

The Last Judgment, is a fresco by the Italian Renaissance master Michelangelo executed on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel in Vatican City. It is a depiction of the Second Coming of Christ and the final and eternal judgment by God of all humanity. The souls of humans rise and descend to their fates, as judged by Christ surrounded by prominent saints including Saints Catherine of Alexandria, Peter, Lawrence, Bartholomew, Paul, Sebastian, John the Baptist, and others.

Beneath Christ within a mound along the river are hairy figures positioned. (Edomites) Are they remnant Fallen Angels at the gates of hell, the apocalyptic spies of Lucifer... Has Michelangelo provided five hundred year old evidence that the Nox Gigas exists in caves near rivers! Hidden right out in the open for all to see at the Vatican!

Genesis 25:19-34 New International Version (NIV)

Jacob and Esau

19 This is the account of the family line of Abraham’s son Isaac.

The Lord said to her,

“Two nations are in your womb,

and two peoples from within you will be separated;

one people will be stronger than the other,

and the older will serve the younger.”

24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau.[b] 26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob.[c] Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.

27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was content to stay at home among the tents. 28 Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.

29 Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. 30 He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.[d])

31 Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.”

32 “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”

33 But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob.

34 Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left.

So Esau despised his birthright.

Genesis 27 English Standard Version (ESV)

Isaac Blesses Jacob

27 When Isaac was old and his eyes were dim so that he could not see, he called Esau his older son and said to him, “My son”; and he answered, “Here I am.” 2 He said, “Behold, I am old; I do not know the day of my death. 3 Now then, take your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me, 4 and prepare for me delicious food, such as I love, and bring it to me so that I may eat, that my soul may bless you before I die.”

5 Now Rebekah was listening when Isaac spoke to his son Esau. So when Esau went to the field to hunt for game and bring it, 6 Rebekah said to her son Jacob, “I heard your father speak to your brother Esau, 7 ‘Bring me game and prepare for me delicious food, that I may eat it and bless you before the Lord before I die.’ 8 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice as I command you. 9 Go to the flock and bring me two good young goats, so that I may prepare from them delicious food for your father, such as he loves. 10 And you shall bring it to your father to eat, so that he may bless you before he dies.” 11 But Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, “Behold, my brother Esau is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man. 12 Perhaps my father will feel me, and I shall seem to be mocking him and bring a curse upon myself and not a blessing.” 13 His mother said to him, “Let your curse be on me, my son; only obey my voice, and go, bring them to me.”

14 So he went and took them and brought them to his mother, and his mother prepared delicious food, such as his father loved. 15 Then Rebekah took the best garments of Esau her older son, which were with her in the house, and put them on Jacob her younger son. 16 And the skins of the young goats she put on his hands and on the smooth part of his neck. 17 And she put the delicious food and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.

18 So he went in to his father and said, “My father.” And he said, “Here I am. Who are you, my son?” 19 Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau your firstborn. I have done as you told me; now sit up and eat of my game, that your soul may bless me.” 20 But Isaac said to his son, “How is it that you have found it so quickly, my son?” He answered, “Because the Lord your God granted me success.” 21 Then Isaac said to Jacob, “Please come near, that I may feel you, my son, to know whether you are really my son Esau or not.” 22 So Jacob went near to Isaac his father, who felt him and said, “The voice is Jacob's voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.” 23 And he did not recognize him, because his hands were hairy like his brother Esau's hands. So he blessed him. 24 He said, “Are you really my son Esau?” He answered, “I am.” 25 Then he said, “Bring it near to me, that I may eat of my son's game and bless you.” So he brought it near to him, and he ate; and he brought him wine, and he drank.

26 Then his father Isaac said to him, “Come near and kiss me, my son.” 27 So he came near and kissed him. And Isaac smelled the smell of his garments and blessed him and said,

“See, the smell of my son

is as the smell of a field that the Lord has blessed!

28 May God give you of the dew of heaven

and of the fatness of the earth

and plenty of grain and wine.

29 Let peoples serve you,

and nations bow down to you.

Be lord over your brothers,

and may your mother's sons bow down to you.

Cursed be everyone who curses you,

and blessed be everyone who blesses you!”

30 As soon as Isaac had finished blessing Jacob, when Jacob had scarcely gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, Esau his brother came in from his hunting. 31 He also prepared delicious food and brought it to his father. And he said to his father, “Let my father arise and eat of his son's game, that you may bless me.” 32 His father Isaac said to him, “Who are you?” He answered, “I am your son, your firstborn, Esau.” 33 Then Isaac trembled very violently and said, “Who was it then that hunted game and brought it to me, and I ate it all before you came, and I have blessed him? Yes, and he shall be blessed.” 34 As soon as Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with an exceedingly great and bitter cry and said to his father, “Bless me, even me also, O my father!” 35 But he said, “Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing.” 36 Esau said, “Is he not rightly named Jacob?[a] For he has cheated me these two times. He took away my birthright, and behold, now he has taken away my blessing.” Then he said, “Have you not reserved a blessing for me?” 37 Isaac answered and said to Esau, “Behold, I have made him lord over you, and all his brothers I have given to him for servants, and with grain and wine I have sustained him. What then can I do for you, my son?” 38 Esau said to his father, “Have you but one blessing, my father? Bless me, even me also, O my father.” And Esau lifted up his voice and wept.

39 Then Isaac his father answered and said to him:

“Behold, away from[b] the fatness of the earth shall your dwelling be,

and away from[c] the dew of heaven on high.

40 By your sword you shall live,

and you shall serve your brother;

but when you grow restless

you shall break his yoke from your neck.”

Epic of Gilgamesh (Enkidu and Shamhat)

In the course of eleven tablets, we are told the story of Gilgamesh's friendship with the wild man Enkidu, and his failed search for immortality after Enkidu dies. As a young king, Gilgamesh is afflicted by a powerful restlessness. There is “a storm in his heart”, an abundance of energy that leads him to abuse the citizens of Uruk. Exhausted by his constant excess, the Urukeans pray for help. The gods decide to create Enkidu as a friend for Gilgamesh, hoping that the new playmate will keep the king occupied.

Enkidu grows up among the animals of the steppe, until one day he comes face to face with a hunter. Terrified by this savage creature the hunter asks his father what to do, and he is told to go to Uruk and present the problem to Gilgamesh. The king tells the hunter to bring a woman named Shamhat to the steppe. She will seduce Enkidu and thereby separate him from his animal companions. The hunter and Shamhat journey out into the wild, where they find Enkidu by a watering hole. Shamhat strips off her clothes and lures Enkidu into having sex with her for six days and seven nights. After this marathon of love, Enkidu finds that he has lost his raw animal strength, having instead gained the consciousness and intellect of a human being. The first time Shamhat invites Enkidu to come to Uruk she describes Gilgamesh as superb in strength and horned like a bull. Enkidu readily accepts her invitation, saying that he will come to Uruk – but only to challenge Gilgamesh and usurp his power. “I shall change the order of things”, he declares. “The one born in the wild is mighty, he has strength.” Though Enkidu has learned to plan and speak like a human being, his way of thinking is still very much that of a wild animal: he immediately sees Gilgamesh as an alpha male, a rival bull to be defeated. The only thing that matters to him at this point is strength and domination.

But the second time Shamhat invites him to Uruk, after they have had sex for yet another week, he sees things differently. Shamhat says that she will lead him to the temple home of Anu, the god of heaven. Rather than change the order of things, Enkidu is to find a place for himself in society: “Where men are engaged in labours of skill, you, too, like a true man, will make a place for yourself.” Enkidu, now wiser after a second bout of civilizing sex, is ready to accept this invitation. “He heard her words, he consented to what she said: a woman's counsel struck home in his heart.” He has understood the value of urban life, accepting the fact that human society is not all about domination and strength, but also about cooperation and skill. Each human being is part of a larger social fabric, where everyone must find their own place.

What is interesting about this is that the epic tells that becoming human is a two-step process. First, one must learn to think like a human being, and second, one must learn to think like a member of society. After the first week of sex Enkidu may have acquired human language and a capacity for reflection, but he is still stuck in the world of animals: he thinks only in terms of challenging rivals and locking horns. To become fully human, he must learn to see himself not as an individual who has to assert his own strength, but as a social being who must participate in the life of the city.

My interpretation of theses stories:

There are several factors to consider when reading ancient text. In the case of Esau the description of his body being hair covered like a garment at birth is a distinct physical difference than his brother Jacob. As an adult Esau is described as a skillful hunter, a man of the open country. There is even a suggestion he doesn't live In tents as his brother Jacob had. Isaac describes Esau smelling as the field blessed by the lord. Goat skins were used by Jacob to resemble hair of Esau. Individually they don't represent evidence but collectively they indicate a pattern of difference between the two brothers as two people and two nations... What is implied in these statements?

The second ancient text of the Sumerian cuneiform story of Gilgamesh and Enkidu bring another striking difference between the two. Gilgamesh a giant and Enkidu his hair covered physical equal as a wilder man of the forest. One a civilized warrior King and the other a savage of the forest. They fight each other and become friends to battle their enemies together. One of the last text to be translated describes Gilgamesh sending a woman to seduce Enkidu into sexual marathons designed to take the Wildman out of him.

What do these stories tell us about the hairier cousins of man? Both of them indicate their lives are of the fields and the forests. They are not as refined and even guillable to the service of their brother. I find these oldest of stories gives us clues that frame our differences that remain today. We are two people of two nations one favored by God and the other relegated to the earth.
