Nebraska is not all flat and has significant biodiversity including relict glacial canyons of the Niobrara river. A low altitiude mountain range of the Pine Ridge and the largest aquifer in the U.S. that provides natural springs. The platte river Riparian forest and the Missouri river deciduous forest offer vast habitat for a relict hominoid. I like to keep this little secret to myself but I'm not good at keeping secrets. Salt creek BF sightings Historical perspective (Timeline) Lincoln Ne Nox Ops Research Area
1) Starkweather 1955-57 – Charles Starkweather stated in prison to a reporter, that he often sighted a women, large bearlike with breasts, sagittal crest, peering into his bedroom window in the Belmont Neighborhood of Lincoln Ne. He described a mournful howl loud then fading as leaving the area (Belmont near Salt creek). This occurred years before the Bluff Creek California research. Starkweather would not have a reference to what he had seen. He thought death was following him.
Title: "Death Had a Sagittal Crest" Description: Mass murderer Perry - June 30, 2006 04:15 AM (GMT)
In the February 1999 Issue of Fate Magazine, Robert Damon Schneck, who describes himself as an expert on physical and paranormal North American hairy bipeds, wrote an article titled: Death Had a Sagittal Crest
Schneck writes about mass murderer Charles Starkweather, who, with his girlfriend, went on a killing spree across the Midwest in 1958. He takes several excerpts from Starkeather's journal that was written while he was in prison waiting for his execution.
It seems that Starkweather may have actually seen a Bigfoot, long before the term, Bigfoot ever existed. He wrote about early morning visions, (several years prior to his killing spree), where he would ..."wake up and see 'her' standing there in the window.. and all I could see would be the part from the waist up. It was a kind of half human and half bear...only it didn't have no neck. It just tapered off from a big chest to a small pointed head...It didn't have no arms and no ears. It was close and loud at first, but it got further and further away and the sound became mournful and sad until I couldn't; hear it no more." (Lustmord: The Writings and Artifacts of Murder, ed. Brian King, Bloat Burbank, 1996)
Schneck says in his article, "It would be easy to ignore this story, considering the source, if it weren't a classic Sasquatch sighting from before the name "Bigfoot" was ever applied. Starkweather had no idea what he was seeing. Since he was the kind of person inclined to mass murder, he decided it must be death come to howl at his window. "
Schneck explains that his description is right in line with most reports of such sightings, such as "massive chest with visible neck or ears, possibly with its arms at its sides where they would be hard to see, adding to the width. The most interesting detail is the pointed head it suggest that "Death" had a Sagittal crest like bigger gorillas and most Sasquatch. Mournful sounds are one of the many vocalizations made by hairy bipeds in the woods of North America. They have been reported consistently from Native American traditions up to the modern era that began seven years after the bloodbath in Nebraska, when a series of giant footprints appeared at a road construction site in Willow Creek, California."
Today, Willow Creek is called the Gate Way to Bigfoot and holds a Bigfoot festival every year. Could this mass murderer have actually seen Bigfoot? Stranger things have happened!
Robbers Cave Lincoln Nebraska
A Karst system and the past uses of this cave system! I suspect the Local Bigfoot use Dakota sandstone caves in the Wilderness Park area along the S.W of Lincoln!
Excerpt from Troy Taylor Circa 2000
A place that the Pawnee held in awe, a cave system where young men were initiated into the spirit world and taught their animal powers and the healing virtues of plants and roots. You see, beneath the bluff is the underground Nebraska, caves of porous sandstone where for centuries, water has carved out an elaborate system that runs for miles. These caves were used for many years by the Pawnee and it was said that the sounds of drums and chanting could often be heard here.
One of these portions of the spirit caves would later be called "Robber's Cave" and for many years was a popular site to visit in Lincoln, especially for teenagers and curiosity seekers. It was said to be haunted by sounds from the past. Visitors had long been reporting the sounds of unexplained voices, cries, screams, and unintelligible laughing and talking. Were these the spirits of the forgotten Pawnee or the ghosts of the cave's later inhabitants? In this cave, there were many former inhabitants to choose from!
Robber's Cave is about 500 feet long and plunges to a depth of about 60 feet, not including the old well that was created by a seepage of ground water. This massive hole disappeared down into total darkness. According to legend, this cave had seen many uses over the years, including as a way station for slaves who escaped from the south via the Underground Railroad. In 1863, the original entrance was destroyed in a quarrying operation, only to be purchased a few years later in 1869 by brewers from Wisconsin. They hired local laborers to dig out the tunnels and renovate them for use in storing beer.
The most famous outlaw alleged to have visited Robber's Cave was Jesse James, who supposedly hid out here after a robbery in 1876. One room in the cave is associated with the outlaws and you can find it by climbing up about five feet along the cave wall. A narrow passage then leads into a vast hidden chamber. One one side is a fire pit with a natural stone chimney above it and beyond that is a stone wall that has been filled in with bricks. It is said that if you listen carefully, you can hear the sounds of the ghosts of Robber's Cave behind this wall.
What many people didn't realize was that the cave actually continued on for several miles beyond that brick wall. In fact, the tunnel beyond it once met passages that connected the penitentiary and the State Hospital for the Insane. One story claims that this tunnel was used as an escape route for some prisoners before it was finally sealed off.
Spooky sounds and Ghost activity often parallel Bigfoot habitat...

3) Early 1980’sHusband and wife see BF at intersection of Folsom and South street standing near an electrical box described as large hairy man wife screamed husband accelerated the vehicle. There is an Electrical box near the rail road tracks that the Sas was standing by. Scott interviewed the Man but his wife has since passed away. This is a very credible witness and story. Wilderness park is not far from this location and at that time this area was more remote with only the West "A"neighborhood and Yankee Hill developed. It is believed Sas will hop a train, hiding on the back of the train cars crouched with their back turned. This sighting by the tracks may have other connections.
4) Terrified City employee working night shift at 27th and Theresa Street in building along salt creek. Felt something watching him and looked at the window approximately 8-9 feet high off the ground was a hairy figure staring at him. Foot prints found the following day outside by window leading to salt creek. Early 1980’s The man barricaded himself in the water treatment plant building until other workers arrived.

Personal experiences
I have conducted research in the riparian forest Wilderness Park that runs SW of Lincoln. Salt creek traverses through the entire length of the park.
Signs-
A) Dead/ rotten smell during the summer 1990’s lingered in a low laying area for months. Feeling of fear when running near thicket of bushes.
B) A fawn leg was observed lying off the bike path of the Jamaica trail that parallels the park near Saltillo road. The leg was approximately 14 inches long with no visible bite marks severed at the joint. 2008 WP Jamaica N. Trail Link to pictures of trail structures Complex structure Link to seasonal photo's of a tree structure
C) Abundance of wildlife in the park including deer, Turkey, squirrel, opossum, raccoons, fox and coyote.
D) January 2012 stick structures within the wilderness park day camp.
C) May 2013 Arch structure found inside Wilderness Park along Jamaica North trail between Pioneers and Old Cheney road.
E) I believe that Juvenile twins are being raised currently in the greater Salt creek corridors.
F) Nov 2013 Wilderness Park has been isolated for the past several years with bridges out from flooding. Much of the park is inaccessible to people.
G) Robbers Cave. I suspect there are other caves in the Salt creek area, Dakota sand stone soil used by Sas.
Suspected territory migration route for a Sasquatch. Seasonal food sources and gathering locations for the greater clan. I have noted activity from Courtland to Pawnee lake and North East past Waverly, farther East near Ashland at this point as outliers but they may shape up to be more the normal curve of activity outside the Urban corridors. 50 mile perimeter
I have a theory that Sas have a predisposition to propagate twins such as deer do. This would be beneficial to their sustainability and is corroborated by eye witness accounts of twins. Twins were observed by two water treatment employees and reported to animal control in Lincoln!
You visit them and they will visit you? I gifted honey in 2012 about a 3 miles from my home and I believe the two twins were able to access my property using the Salt Creek water web.
Prairie Homin Link to some footage I took within the Prairie corridor in March of 2019. A walking bipedal Homin or Human? You be the judge. The uniform color of this individual and the appearance in this prairie grass had me stumped. I would not have noticed except I had been staring at the moving subject when it caught my eye at a stop sign.
Haines Branch creek structure Link April 2019 - to some intriguing structures along Haines branch creek. Possibly created by humans but the additional structures around had me leaning toward Homin. My dog led me to this area too! I have walked him around structures since he was a puppy and now I believe he can smell/sense the Homin areas!

Nebraska BFRO Expedition
Oct 6th – 8th 2011
Pine Ridge National Forest
I arrived at Pine Ridge National Forest in the NW corner of the Nebraska Panhandle around noon on Thursday Oct 6th. The BFRO investigators where already there and had come the night before. Mitch and Tom S, Kirk B,, Jim S, Todd P and Glen, with newbies Paul L, myself ,Scott arrived Friday morning and two from Colorado a Mother and her son. (I’m sorry I can’t place their name)Each person set up camp a little farther apart from base camp my was located near the running stream, Kirk was down two hundred yards from mine and Paul had a spot by the timber another few hundred yards from Kirk. The Mother and son from Colorado camped in the farthest spot from camp. We had gathered wood for a fire and met at base camp around 6pm to discuss the night ops. Mitch the BFRO leader had all the airs of Indiana Jones and reeked with confidence in our mission.
There was no lack of experience on this expedition. Kirk B had shot the first FLIR video of Bigfoot in New Mexico 2009. Todd had done extensive research in Colorado and Jim had attended every BFRO expedition in 2009. We had the R2D2 unit which sat above a vehicle and could run 360 degree thermal. Advanced 4th Generation night vision, you could see mice running around on a hill with this technology. Mitch and Tom had been on Expeditions in Washington State, Colorado and Utah, with researching the Pine Ridge for years. It was exciting to hear these stories and experiences that I had shared. I began to feel that this maybe more than I had expected. Personally I had a feeling of dread and anxiety that hung onto me the whole time I was there. The reasons for this became apparent later as much of this research needs time to contemplate what had occurred.
Thursday night ops were coordinated by Mitch. He had Todd, Glenn, Kirk and I ascend the ridgeline above camp. He then took Paul and the Colorado family with him down into the timber. Mitch led howls and calls back and forth between our position on the bluff and his down in the timber. Tom and Jim stayed in Base camp to listen form that location. My group hiked up the steep incline through the Pine timbers and climbed above a large rock out cropping. Kirk took pics on our way up and back down to camp. After we returned a howl from Mitch we stopped and listened. An owl sound came rapidly up the bluff and surprised us as it came to a stop just below us. It didn’t have the warble at the end of its call as it was heard around camp earlier and seemed to be a mimicking sound. It really sounded more like a horse neighing three times loudly as it approached from a distance and closed in quickly. Just as it came to a stop something grunted just below where I was holding the microphone. Todd remarked that it’s here and I became struck with excitement and fear all at once. It started to rain and the wind picked up so after a short while we descended back to camp to ride out the rain by the fire .Night OPS FLIR Link to FLIR and Audio of the First Night Operation BFRO.
Observation: The owl sound that approached us on the ridge was a classic distraction technique. At the time we were all focused on the sound approaching while another Bigfoot came in right below us literally close enough to hear it grunt. I was wearing a Filson oil leather coat that had hung in a horse barn for ten years. The smell of horse may have confused the Bigfoot and brought them in for a closer look. Once it determined I was just human it grunted . I'm just speculating but the odd neighing mimick may have been the key to this encounter. It also highlights their ability to ambush hunt while distracting and moving in close. I might not be here today if they had a malevolent intent.
Mitch’s group had a tree break and calls from the timber that had them wound up. Paul had exclaimed that the Squatch were all around them. Mitch had used Samurai chatter similar to Ron Moorhead’s to illicit a reaction. Paul, Kirk and I decided to go back down to the timber and take Kirks FLIR with us to try and get some footage. Kirk is from South Dakota but lives in Washington State and had many encounters with Bigfoot. He assured us no one has been injured on these expeditions. When we reached the timbered are we got out of Paul’s truck. Immediately a tree could be heard being pushed down. I was surprised at the quick reaction to our presence. Paul was shook up and I could tell he had a very emotional experience here earlier. It took real bravery to come back and face your fears in the darkness of the wilderness. Paul is a seasoned hunter and outdoorsman who had hunted Bear. He is a man’s man and he had experienced something that had him rattled. The feeling of anxiety and fear was strong in this area. You could not escape it. It was like the air was charged with this flight hormone/energy that made you want to leave. We decided to go ahead and walk the two track together and Kirk scanned the FLIR. As we walked something was trailing us but was back in the timber a ways. After a while we reached a field and there were signs of cow/dung. Kirk had us practice a few whoops and nothing returned our calls. It was after three AM so we decided to hike back and drive to base camp.
When I returned to base camp Paul dropped me off and the feeling of being alone and vulnerable was evident. Fear had a grip on me and I struggled with why I had put myself in this situation! I urinated quickly and crawled into the back of the Durango where I was planning to sleep and keep an eye out for Bigfoot. I dosed off and something had scraped the side of my truck. I had a dream or visualization of a female hairy face that said to “not be afraid you will not be hurt” in a comforting manner. I was confused with this and thought my mind was trying to cope with the situation. This seemed real at the time and from what I know now is an eerie revelation. I awoke early Friday morning and shot some video of the fresh water stream that came by my site and the surrounding Dakota Sandstone. It seems that Bigfoot is well and alive here in the Pine Ridge, I can’t readily explain these experiences.
Thursday PM Link to Video around base camp! Friday Morning Link to Friday morning base camp
I met up with the guys at base camp and we discussed the previous night’s action. Mitch seemed disheveled. He was not real coherent and confident as the day before. “He was almost a different person all together”. I was baffled but had just met him and thought maybe he had too much wine at the camp fire. Scott came into camp around noon and had missed the first night. He was from Lincoln too! Mitch took us on a caravan style drive through the timbered bluffs and we stopped at another location to scout. He told me to look at the top of the bluffs for Bigfoot. There had been reported sightings of Black colored Bigfoot by the locals. I scanned the area but saw nothing. We went into Chadron for supplies and returned for Fridays night’s cookout.
Mitch cooked steaks and baked potatoes on the campfire. We ate well and discussed a different approach for Friday night. The plan was to sound blast the Samurai chatter “Sierra sounds “and have strobe lights and glow sticks tied to the trees. We all stayed in camp and waited for the Bigfoot to come to us. The R2 D2 unit was right by my camp and Kirk was running his FLIR there too. Mitch played the sierra sounds and it carried throughout the canyon. The spooky eerie feeling still was in the air. I couldn’t shake that feeling the whole time. It began to rain and we talked by the campfire but it was very quiet compared to the first night. I went to bed with the sight of glow sticks around me in the timber and the R2 D2 unit going. It was surreal for me that this is what I had come for but it was mixed with angst because of the heavy feeling of fear in the air that would not go away. I got the impression we were not wanted here.
The rains continued into the morning and I packed up what I had on the ground and put it in my truck. Kirk, Paul and I went to town for breakfast. We talked for several hours as it continued a deluge outside. Kirk confided to us that we had visitors in camp Friday morning. He said that during the night Mitch was awoken to a paralyzing feeling. Kirk referred to it that Mitch got zapped. Paul and I were unsure how to take this but Kirk had been forthright with us all along; there was no reason to embellish this. I had noticed something had affected Mitch adversely that morning compared to the day before. Kirk explained that this phenomenon has occurred to other researchers in the field with Bigfoot. He compared it to infrasound used by Tigers to stun their prey. I surmised Mitch was being punished by the Alpha male for bringing us to their home. This was absolutely astonishing to me to even consider the possibility of infrasound but yet the circumstances pointed to it. The rest of the expeditioners showed up in Chadron and had lunch with us. The rain was to continue all day and Mitch decided to pull the plug on the last night. I had already packed all my gear and had thought we may be moving camp. It was so difficult to travel with the mud and flooding creek. I was glad I did not need to go back to base camp. I headed back to Lincoln with a long drive to process my experiences. I had met some great people and participated in a historical first public expedition of the BFRO in Nebraska. Little did I know how things would change for me in my relationship to nature? My previous experiences in the riparian forests would be challenged by my current revelations of the Relict Hominoids that dwell in them.

Journal 2/11/12
Scott and I went to the northern entrance to Wilderness Park at Vandorn and Park street. We walked from the trail down to the old river bed and proceeded to the North West corner of the WP. We noticed the presence of foot prints in the snow on the trail from other hikers mixed with dog tracks. When we walked into the riverbed we noticed lager tracks and were able to determine that they were from snow shoes accompanied by a cross country skier. We then went to a low lying area that I had smelled a foul odor back in the nineties when I used to run on the trails. This stuck out in my mind because the musty stench that I believed to have been a dead animal was present in this section of the trail for most of the summer. A friend and I would hold our breath each time we ran through this area.
We reached the low area and an open culvert was visible as we approached. During the summer the growth of plants covered much of the view of this culvert from the trail. I believe that the stench was coming from the culvert or near it that summer. Scott took a picture of me next to it and I was surprised to see how large it was. It was also free of any debris within it. I commented that something could stay cool on a hot summer day in this low lying culvert. Scott reminded me that he has seen many dead animals in his field work and there is no way one would smell for weeks on end. It would dissipate from a natural decay in several days with the work of insects and other scavengers.
We moved on taking the trail then entering off the trail periodically to view fallen trees that resembled wood structures. We were able to determine that what we had looked at was from wind, snow or tree on tree damage. We reached a fork in the trail and saw another interesting stick formation that we decided to take a close look. We jumped over a small water way and came upon a stick structure that was not a natural structure but created. There were two: one uncompleted that had many large branches lying against a downed tree. The other about five feet from it was smaller but completed. It looked like a beaver dam or large upside down eagles nest. It was comprised of long sticks woven into large branches like an igloo. It was about 6 ft tall and rounded in circumference. The south east side had an entrance and there were two logs setting inside of it. Between the two structures was a branch over the top.
2/27/12
Another structure was found near the picnic area not far from the first structure on 2/25/12. After showing other BFRO members I have come to the conclusion because of the close proximity that Boy scouts have made them. This explains the many branches used and the primitive style used. I believe the one closet to the picnic area was the first and the others were built from that example.
7/12/14 I believe now this structures were real and the additional structures I have found since then have convinced me the Sas are moving through this area regularly.

Hominoid taxonomies
1 August 2001
ScienceWeek
The terms "hominoid", "hominid", and "hominin" are not interchangeable, but their classification criteria are variously in a state of flux. In general, the hominoids are a primate superfamily; the hominid family is currently considered to comprise both the great ape lineages and human lineages within the hominoid superfamily; the "homininae" comprise both the human lineages and the African ape lineages within the hominids, and the "hominini" comprising only the human lineages. The current scheme is as follows:
Suborder Hominoids (a primate superfamily)
Family Hominids
Subfamily Homininae
Tribe Gorillini (African apes)
Tribe Hominini (human linages)
(1) Genus Ardipithecus
(2) Genus Australopithecus
(3) Genus Paranthropus
(4) Genus Kenyanthropus
(5) Genus Homo
The term "hominins" almost always refers to the tribe Hominini, and not to the subfamily Homininae. It is important to note that in the older scheme (before about 1980), the Hominoids comprised the gibbons (Hylobatidae), the great apes (Pongidae), and the Hominidae, with the Hominidae (hominids) consisting only of the two genera Homo and Australopithecus. The new scheme is therefore considerably different. For example, under the old scheme, the statement "modern man is the only living hominid" is correct. Under the new scheme, that statement is incorrect.
The human lineages (the hominins) are characterized by a number of features, including bipedalism. In effect, hominins are the group of fossils more closely related to modern humans than to any other group. In terms of dating, the hominin group apparently originated sometime between 5 and 8 million years ago. Concerning the "apes", there are two categories of relevance here: The term "great apes" refers to chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans. The term "African apes" refers only to chimpanzees and gorillas. The distinction is important, since on the basis of molecular evidence, the African apes are close to humans, while the orangutans are not that close, and the gibbons are even further removed.
The classification and interpretation of hominin fossils has never been free of controversy, partly because hominin fossils are not that plentiful, and perhaps partly because there are a number of rival discovery teams, and the significance of a new hominin fossil discovery is enhanced if the discovery apparently requires new classifications and/or new interpretations.

6/30/12 Sunvalley Blvd and Oak Lake
Driving south on Sunvalley Blvd My friend and I saw something cross the road. My friend stated “Oh my god was that a chimpanzee”. She saw the figure from her peripheral with hands reaching out in front of it and its butt in the air just seconds cross the road in front of my car. This occurred right after the bridge by Oak Lake and Sun valley road 10 :42 PM. She stated that it was black in color and looked just like a chimpanzee on all fours running low to the ground. She specifically saw the hands and rear in the air 2.5 to 3 ft low to the ground.
It ran west to east from Oak lake to Salt creek crossing Sunvalley blvd just passed the bridge.
Black in color resembled a chimpanzee running with visible hands and rear in the air all stretched out about 3 to 4 ft from ground up.
She is a skeptic and would not refer to it as a juvie Sasquatch but she claims it was in fact a chimpanzee.
I believe she saw a juvenile BF cross the road at a high rate of speed. I could only see it was fast and bigger than anything I would have expected to see.
7/27/12 Waverly chronicle (previously abandoned farm house) on going Bigfoot activity
I have listened to the Waverly recording from 7/15/12 and have identified several anomalies.
1) a series of coyotes yelping with a howl at the end that may parallel the Minnesota howl.
2) There was a distant horse whinnied.
3) Then a series of four dogs barking for an hour.
Conclusion: A BF had converged with coyotes and proceeded hunting/stalking in the area.
A scream was reported the next weekend near this tree line that was said to sound like a rabbit being killed by a cat with the sound of a puppy whimper and a deep undertone all at once starting high then going low twice. When a flash light was turned on the noise quit.
This week it was reported that the apple tree was picked clean of fruit even on the ground.
Corn stalks were pushed down with a path out of the field.

Operation Night Apple Link Night Apple Howl
I brought a bag of apples to leave at the Saltcreek Bridge near N162nd Waverly.
My plan was to string the apples through a fishing stringer and hang from a tree near the Sony recorder and game camera.
7:15 PM Friday 9/14/12
I used a small shepards hook and hung the Sony recorder on it near the bridge-very steep drop off and had to be careful.
I proceded to The Scanlon farm a couple miles down the road and met the owner of the property and the Scanlons the renters James and Laurie who have allowed me to record and have reported the Waverly incidents. I gave them a bottle of 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon for a wedding gift.
I set up the Zoom recorder on the fence post where I had recorded on previous occasions.
James had the fishing stringer I had forgotten and helped me string the Apples.
I spoke to them about their chickens and how one had gone missing while they were on their honeymoon. Another one was in a cage in the garage and had a bite mark near its anus.
We talked about Coyotes and Foxes even raccoons that could have bitten the chicken.
Scott called and said that he could make it he had been working. I sent him a picture of the area I had placed the Sony recorder and it looked real squatchy.
I told Scott about the Apples and my plan to put them down by the Saltcreek location. I had left some near the field by the recorder at the farm also.
Scott arrived later and he prepared his moultaire game camera. We took the Apples and game camera to the saltcreek location where I had placed my recorder on the shepherds hook.
It was 9:45pm and very dark so I had to be rally careful I new it was a 20-25 foot fall from the river below.
I pendulum the two stringers with apples over a branch after some contemplation if this was the best place for it, then tied them down to another branch as they hung over salt creek. Scott had the game camera set on the Night Apple stringer.
We back to the farm andI did some wood knocks with my Pearl wood block. Dogs began barking James estimated two miles away. We listened and told stories for several hours then left around 11pm. There son had reported to them that he saw a black haired Bigfoot from his bedroom window behind there home.
The sky was clear no wind and the stars shone bright.
9/15/12 Sunrise
I returned at 7AM and retrieved the game camera and recorder. I documented the area with pictures and left the apple stringer that had not been touched. I will return later to check them again.
There were no pictures set off by the cam that night. I have 12 hours of recording by salt creek and around 12hours at the Scanlon farm I will listen too.
Night Apple recording
I listened to the recording where I had placed my Sony ICD-UX512 on a shepherd hook near salt creek and N 162nd road. I put the shepherds hook into the ground near the edge of a 20 foot embankment just to the East of the bridge looking over the creek. I had placed it there at 7:20pm and left it to go to the Scanlon farm. I took a few pictures from the road and left the area to not draw attention. I sent a text message to Scott- he had to work late and was unable to join me.
Scott met me late at the Scanlon farm and he had brought his game camera, so we took the apple stringers back and game camera to where I had left my recorder about 9:45PM. I had finished hanging the stringer and Scott aimed the game camera directly at the apples. We went back to the Scanlon farm and I had left more apples down by the corn field. I had brought my Pearl wood block and decided to do a few percussions and see what would happen. My Zoom recorder was running where I had hung it on a fence post near the edge of the field.
I knocked a few times and immediately dogs began barking form a distance of a ½ mile to 2miles it was a calm night and the sound carried well with no cloud cover.
Around eleven PM Scott and I decided to call it a night and return in the morning. I drove back to Lincoln passing the bridge where I had my recorder and Scott’s game camera with the Apple stringer hanging from a tree.
I got a text the next morning that Scott had a headache and would not be able to join me in retrieving the recorder, he asked me to bring his game camera back with me.
I drove to the location and arrived just before 7AM and watched a deer run through the woods near where I had parked. There was an older red pickup with a cover on it parked about two hundred yards from the bridge. I felt uneasy because I did not want an altercation with an unknown person/hunter. I quickly waded through the grass and grabbed my recorder, sheperds hook and removed Scott’s game camera. The Apples still hung from the tree and it did not look like anything had been there. I grabed my camera from the car and took some pictures from the bridge. The fog was heavy and clung to the low lying areas and the water in Saltcreek . I then drove to the Scanlon farm and retrieved my zoom recorder and took a few more pictures of the sunrise it was very peaceful. The roosters where crowing as I walked back to my car.
I loaded the pictures from the game cam and only saw pictures of myself stringing the apples and peaking again at the camera at 7AM. I told Scott we had nothing for pictures. I listened to the recordings on Sunday the 16th starting with the Saltcreek recorder. The first part from 7pm-10pm was nothing unusual. I heard Scot and I crash through the high grass and quickly set up the Apple stringer and game cam.
Then I got to the second part of the recording from 10:20pm to 2:30 PM. I heard Owls and an occasional frog jump into the water. I also heard the sounds of trains passing from the train tracks, about a mile and a half away near HWY 6. Then at around 1245AM I heard what sounded like a dog barking from a distance. It was a constant throaty sound that did not always end with a bark. It was getting closer and it seemed to be getting louder as it approached, the train was moving by also but the howl/bark kept moving closer. I then realized that I could not completely be sure it was a dog I had never heard one keep howling and bark while it was moving. Also no other dogs were joining in which was always the case out there in the country. No other dogs barked back!
As it got closer it sounded alarming to me really scary. It stopped for about 30 seconds and then was very close as the train engines rolled by in the distance the howl/bark was real close it was throaty and seemed to be calling out. I could not believe what I was hearing through my head phones was it a feral dog or something else. Could I have recorded a hominid moving through the tree line.
Indian Cave Expedition
Friday 11/30/12 and Saturday 12/1/12
I traveled to Indian cave state park on the border of Richardson and Nemaha counties in southeastern Nebraska arriving approximately 1:30Pm Friday. Paul met me at the BP trail heads #9 and #10 at a 1:50pm and we drove to the special use area near the trail heads.
We discussed my plan to set up camp in the special use area and hike up to the Adirondack shelter after dark to play some whale songs and do some wood knocking and howls. We decided to hike up the #9 trail to get an idea how it would navigate at night.
The trails were steep and required a sure footing with the inclines rising up to the ridges overlooking the Missouri river and below the special use area where we had planned to set up base camp. We traveled up and down several steep ridge lines until we could finally see the Adirondack shelter at the top of the largest ridge. At that point we decided to turn back so we could take a ride through the park while it was still light out.
There had been ongoing controlled burns going throughout the park down by the old town area and through the hollow. The smell of smoke and the haze of the burn were evident in the air. Black burned grass was sporadic beneath the old growth deciduous forest. I thought the burn would push most of the wildlife to the southern end of the park where we were going to set up base camp and do our night operation.
We arrived back at the special use area and set up base camp in a field that sat below the ridgelines and had a timberline that sat between camp and the banks of the Missouri river. As it became dark at 5:15pm we heard a howl from the Island that sat between the Missouri and Nebraska banks of the river. A chorus of Coyotes began howling and shrieking. I did not have my recorders running yet but quickly went to set them up. Scott was in route from Lincoln and had been held up by an unexpected dog rescue. He finally made to camp around 5:30pm. Just after sundown.
I set up a recorder (Sony) on a shepherds hook near the timber line facing the Missouri river. Then I strategically placed my Blackout IR game camera on a Shepherds hook facing camp about 25 feet away (as the IR only covers about 50 ft). Scott arrived and set up camp. Then we all drove into Falls City for dinner. Indian Cave link to audio and pics
We returned around 9PM and there were no other people at Indian cave for the remainder of the night. Once back at the base camp we gathered our equipment, I carried a boom box with a CD of a blue whale recording and we drove back up to the trail head #9. We ascended the trail near the road and hit a very steep pitch, stopping to stay together as we moved along the ridgeline. Each step took us up higher and higher along the ridge that over looked our base camp and the Missouri river. When we got to a point where the ridge leveled off briefly before ascending again we stopped to scan the interior tree line below us with the FLIR Scott had brought with him.
The moonlit trees provided little cover for a Sasquatch and the FLIR did not detect anything following us yet. We did some wood knocks and I gave out a short whoop! I played the whale song which had a high and low frequency that I had hoped would elicit a response. A lone coyote called out across the adjacent ridgeline it was difficult to tell because as we ascended the wind picked up considerably blocking out any real chance to get a clear response. We gathered our packs and continued up the next series of steep inclines. Paul called me a mountain goat as I pushed upward, but we still had a ways to go as we descended a ridge and then approached an even steeper ascent to the first Adirondack shelter.
The first shelter was closed to the back and open in the front with a slight pitch built all of wood. The view was incredible as we looked south west from our position. The obvious reason for having a shelter here was the view, but the wind was evident as we scanned the distant Ridges and tree lines. Paul used his wood blocks and I played the whale song again, the wind was overpowering and the boom box did not cut it. We scanned with the FLIR and then moved on to the next series of ascension to the second shelter. We were deeper into the ridgeline and could not see the base camp anymore only the continued series of ridges and steep tree lines. It was exhausting to make it this far, so we sat down in the shelter and there was a half case of bottled water there, that someone had left behind.
We tried playing the whale song through a mega phone Paul had brought, but it was still ineffective with the wind swirling around us. Scott scanned with the FLIR and Night vision while Paul unleashed a wicked howl that was voluminous in its trajectory from the ridge. We were at the highest point of any of the ridges, so this was our best shot at calling in a Sasquatch. Nothing could be heard over the wind. We made a decision to head back the way we came on the Ridgeline instead of tracking another trail down into the lower valley floor that we were unfamiliar with. The trip back was as arduous as the ascent; we took turns scanning the trees below us as we looked for trail markers.
We came across some branches laid near the trail between trees; it was difficult to say if it was a Sas because a hiker could have easily left them there. I took a few pictures with my i-phone but it did not capture well in the low light. We thought we heard something moving below us on the steep side of the ridge towards the river, but again nothing was indicated on the FLIR thermal imager.
As we descended to the lower ridges a lone coyote howl again called out. At the time I just thought it was random chance that the coyote had called out. Since then I have learned that there is always a sentinel Sasquatch positioned to give a warning to the clan. Usually the sentinel is positioned at the entrance of a trail head, or at a vantage point. It made sense that as we approached the lower ridge descending to the trail head that the sentinel would alert the clan. It was about that same spot when we ascended that we had heard a coyote call. Piecing together Sas behavior to me is a lot like Lieutenant Colombo (Peter Falk). You have to keep coming back to an experience and analyze what had occurred if anything seems out of place latch onto it and don’t let go.
We worked our way back down the trail head and put our gear back into Paul’s truck. I suggested we take a ride through the park and try and get a video of something crossing the road. Paul had a video camera attached to his rearview mirror that recorded in real time. We drove down through the burn area and circled back with no sign of wildlife. It was clear that all the critters would be down by the river or back deeper into the ridges of old growth forest. As we approached the lower river area again we did see some deer run across the road.
Once we drove back to base camp we decided to take a look down by the Missouri river’s edge and see what is going on with the FLIR on the Island. Our base camp set in a field that faced the high ridges and bluffs above. To our back was a timberline that bordered the sandy ground above the river’s edge. As we stood scanning the river and Island River banks it became apparent something was swimming in the river. We all noticed the sound of what seemed like water splashing and moving across to the Missouri border side. It struck me as odd but we dismissed it to be possible drift wood or current flowing along a log. This was another Colombo moment for me. Would a Sas take cover on an Island if it had been checking out our camp while we were gone? They are known to be excellent swimmers and if they move through the water like they do through heavy brush it is certainly possible. The cold water would have made it difficult to see if the thermal imager could not penetrate. Sas are most comfortable around and near rivers. I believe this is true because it keeps humans from following them, plain and simple.
We returned to base camp with some unanswered questions and decided to call it a night. I had the blackout trail cam set up facing camp and the Sony recorder still going, so nothing more to do but see if we could get some visitors. The coyote activity continued through the night packs of coyotes howled from a distance and several lone howls occurred very close to camp. At 4 AM a particularly persistent howl sounding like it was scolding us for taking over their field for the night called out repeatedly.
When morning broke it was very foggy and actually warmer than it was when we turned in at 1 AM. We had an opossum pass near camp and Scott caught it by its tail as we surrounded it. We all took pictures with the opossum and it summed up our expedition. The Sas are masters of their environment, whether they kept a distance, hid on the Island or moved to another location out of the park is only a guess. The trail cam did pick up some eye glow that may be Coyote just within the tree line. Also the recordings had some very interesting howls within the Coyote pack. I do know the Sas are notorious for mimicking and traveling with Coyotes and Indian Cave Dec 2012 had a significant population moving through and around the park.

Pawnee Lake Investigation
February 23, 2013
In a follow up to the prints found at Pawnee lake by a hunter Mike H, Scott and I traveled to the west side of the lake near the location of the prints on Saturday the 23rd of February. There had been a snow storm the previous day and the ground there was covered with four or more inches of snow. Clear and cold the sun was very bright as we parked at the camping area next to the confluence of the lake and north middle creek.
We noticed that there was one camper located in the campground closets to the road. We walked into the wooded area passing through a field of heavily covered Cat tails/ Willows along the lake. The other half of the field had saplings and variations of bushes that made it difficult to traverse. I spotted a cluster of saplings woven together at their top creating a type of marker known to be associated with Sasquatch. The stick marker is thought to either mark territory or distinguish that a Sasquatch has passed through this area.Pawnee Lake Investigation Link to pictures and comments.
I took pictures to document the markers and we moved into a wooded area that appeared to have a trail down the middle flanked by trees. I began to notice other anomalies as we walked through the snow looking for tracks. We had seen rabbit tracks sparsely in the snow, but the majority of the ground was currently untouched by prints. The tree line however had many piles of sticks and branches along the base and within the lower branches of the trees. I make an effort to rule out sticks or branches that have appeared to or could have fallen in this manner. The placement and gathering of sticks however were indicative of a hominoid capable of using their hands and height to precisely balance sticks in tree branches and plies on the ground.
As we reached the end of the tree line we approached boot prints of someone who had been in the area the day before. There were additional canine or coyote prints evident as we continued to the lake shore area to pass around a thick grove of trees and bushes along a cornfield. I noticed right away a branch hung precariously on several large saplings. I had seen this before and recognized another marker of a Sasquatch. The branch laced in a straight line about four feet off the ground held up by saplings. The paradox of a branch setting in such symmetry is the calling card of a deliberate placement. No trees near this location where missing this size of branch there for it was carried from another location and placed there. I documented with pictures and Scott stood next to the branch for size comparison. It was at least twenty feet long and 10 inches in diameter. Split cleanly from the tree with very little jaggedness at the break. A powerful testament to the strength of the Sasquatch sends a covert message to illicit dominance.
We reached the cornfield that was bordered by trees and bushes so thick even in winter you could not penetrate. I suggested we walk the side of the corn row along the tree line as this best represents a game trail. We found deer, rabbit and mice tracks along this route. Additional tracks of a coyote or canine were noted too. All of these were sparse in the context of the vastness of this area. Scott commented on the birds singing as some early arriving songbirds had made an early spring arrival

Pawnee Lake Prints 2013
January 26th
Early morning around 7AM Mike and another hunter had been hunting pheasant when they came upon tracks in the mud. Mike stated that he and the other hunter smelled an odd pungent odor as they tried to understand the tracks. The location was on the West side of Pawnee Lake (wooded) south of the creek area.
There were three tracks that were approximately 4-5 feet apart. Mike stated that he is 6’3’’ and wears a size 13-14 shoe. He said that it had rained the night before accounting for the muddy conditions.
The pictures indicates either hand or foot prints depressed deeply into the mud. Mike is seen striding between the impressions. His shoe compared to the impression in the picture gives a good indication of size.
Mike mentioned that he showed his father in law the print/pictures who is a PHD in Animal Science and he was baffled by the impressions.
Mike did not believe that these prints were made by someone in toed shoes.
Field notes:
Corroborating habitat that may support trans-locational activity
-Middle creek flows from this area toward Lincoln and the Salt creek Wilderness park corridors.
-Branched Oak lake is another wildlife area to the north that has Oak Creek flowing south toward Lincoln and the Salt creek corridor.
-Conestoga Lake SW of Lincoln has the Haines branch creek that flows to the salt creek Wilderness park corridor.
-Additional wildlife management areas and reservoirs dot the landscape in this part of Lancaster and Seward counties. Wetland marshes have been dry with drought. This could be a leading factor in the Sasquatch staying near water and food sources.

Sunday 4/28/13 Pinewood Bowl Howl
Pioneers Park Lincoln Ne
Approximately 9PM Rob and Sarah were located at the Columns in Pioneers Park. They heard a pack of coyotes howling together coming from the south west of their location near Haines branch creek and the Yankee hill brick company.
They moved from their location up to their car at the parking lot near the sledding platform. They were now straight west of their previous location. Ten minutes or so had passed from the coyote howls. Then they heard three howls louder than the coyote’s coming from the Pine wood bowl area south from where they were standing. They described the howls as nothing they had hear before an ohhyoooouu.. x3 starting low then getting higher. They stated that it was scary and had insisted it was not a coyote.
Several things are notable regarding their experience: Rob and Sarah are from Montana and they spend a lot of time outside and are familiar with the sound of coyotes. They had just spoken to me on the phone right after the coyotes howled and told me what they had heard and the location.
The lone howler that came from the Pinewood bowl area was much different and distinctly louder. They were on their way to my home about 10 minutes from this location. They both were surprised at hearing something that strange and were not able to identify what could have made the noise. I told them that it would make since for a Sasquatch to call out from that location because it offered the best acoustics to carry sound. A fawn leg broken off at the joint had been found in the park before and the Haines branch creek is suspected to be a corridor. The day before was the 50trh anniversary of the Nature Center and there had been many food venders present. (Opportunistic food)
I was waiting outside my home for them to come by and I did hear many dogs barking approximately around the time the purported howl took place. The Pinewood bowl area is south of my home about one mile.

Barry Webster invited Paul Lane and myself to go Squatching on the Res with him and his brother D (Derek) on Barry’s birthday. Barry is an Elder in Omaha community. He arranged for us to have access to tribal land, even areas that tribal members do not enter.
There was no wind and the temperature was decreasing, a quiet dark night as we rode down an old dirt road into deep timberland off the Missouri river. Barry and D stated that they had not squatched in this part of their land and the Omaha people avoid it. We passed a deep chasm of a flooded out road which descended down into the darkness. Barry said we can’t go through there, so we traveled farther down the road and D pointed out another spot to pull over. We had noticed earlier down the road some horse or cow manure on the road and Barry was surprised to see it there.
We step of the road as I had my red light on; the darkness engulfed as we pass under the tree line. Barry and D began to speak to the Sas in their Native Language. Barry tells me that once their ancestors had been trading with the Sas and they are trying to open that communication with them again. They introduced themselves and then us to the Sasquatch people. D then played the tribal flute that Barry had showed me earlier, a beautiful crafted wooden pipe wrapped in deer skin. I began to see eye glow lighting up the darkness about 70 yards away. There were lightening bugs flying around too but you can see the difference in brightness in eye glow it is like a flashlight compared to the small erratic pulses of light of a Fire fly.
There were numerous Sas moving around us and Eye glow was visual as Barry and D spoke to them and played the flute. When we walked out we were trailed by the sound of foot falls as we stopped they stopped. Once we reached the road there was bright eye glow just inside the timberline watching us. Barry spoke to the Sas and stated that Paul had a gift for them sweet corn. Paul placed the sweet corn inside the tree line and D had left an apple behind for them also. It was a spiritual mesmerizing experience. Barry commented that he had not seen that much eye glow in all his time squatching the Res. This is an old growth forest that remains isolated on the reservation even from the Omaha people. Barry talked about wanting to go to the sacred ground but not being able to access it because the roads were washed out.
We then drove down by the Missouri river and made noise laughing drinking beer to sound like some rowdy hunters. The Sas at this location had shaken a pickup truck that had a deer that had been shot in the bed. The hunter from North Carolina said he watched a large Hairy person walk by his truck. The hunter was freaked out and has not returned to hunt there. I believe the Sas was angry that the hunter shot his deer. I am sure Sas are territorial and will defend what they believe to be there’s. We were unable to illicit a response there so we drove to D’s property near an Alfalfa field.
As we approached the timber line near the alfalfa field, I saw just at the end of the truck headlights a reddish/brown hairy figure move quickly into the timber. I mentioned it right away as we just came to a stop. I thought it may have been a deer but we had seen many deer dash in front of us that night and their hairs were sleeker looking. The hair on the Reddish/brown figure that I saw was long and shaggy/matted. I just caught a glimpse, I couldn’t tell if it was standing at the time or had been squatting but all I saw was the lower parts of it disappear into the timber as the head lights came to a stop.
Wood knock Res Squatching Link to some recordings by this alfalfa field.
We entered the timber through waist high grass and I could see a house up in the timber. Barry told us that they had a haunted forest at this location last Halloween and were chased out by an irate Squatch. He said that a tree was thrown at them. They had crime scene tape and silver Christmas tinsel strewn on the tree branches. We entered under a large tree structure and I was shocked to see it covered with the same tape and tinsel. It had arches and woven elements with several large trees pulled together. I thought my god we are in its living room and they have debased his dwelling. Barry said that this Sas was mean and they were not going to show it any respect. He and D began to be belligerent toward the Sas yelling and taunting it to show himself. This was a different approach from the last location and it seemed they were really trying to get a vocalization from the Sas.
We walked out from under the structure and Barry said sometimes we play peek a boo with the Sas. He told me to find a tree so I went up ahead and found a tree out by myself Derrick stood behind a tree on the other side of Barry. Barry said Ok we are going to play peek a boo now. He took his red light and held it under his face then poked out behind the tree , high then low on both sides of the tree. He told D to go and he did the same thing Peek A Boo Squatch. Barry then told me to do it and I pointed my light around the tree he said put it under your face- so I did thinking this thing is going to pop my head off , high then low- peek a boo around the tree. Nothing happened but it felt like there was something real close to us just beyond the darkness.
We walked back under the structure and Paul said he had seen more than one silhouette in the moon light on the horizon. D let out a loud call and coyotes began howling hysterically a quarter mile away. Barry taunted the Sas again saying you’re going to let the coyotes fight your battles. These guys here are going to kick your ass. Derrick let out another call then the whole structure shook three times hard and long. Paul said did anyone just hit this tree I felt it move. We all said none of us touched it. At that point we knew the Sas was right on top of us. We stood there for a moment to figure out what just happened then we decided it was time to leave. Barry and Derrick told us all to holler and yell as loud as we could. When it was my turn I had been hunched over and barely let out a yelp then we laughed and I gave a flat sound out like a nnnurhhhwhooop… trying to make a flat note that carries farther than sharp notes. It was getting real late almost 2 AM so we walked back out by some bottles tied together and the fire ring through the tall grass to the alfalfa field. Wow what an experience I was exhilarated and exhausted all at once. We took D and Barry home and agreed to return again and do an overnighter. I drove back to Council Bluffs with Paul and returned home to Lincoln just after 4 AM.

We met at 5PM on Friday the 10th to set up base camp. Paul Lane, Cole Wilson, Barry and Derek Webster traveled to the East of Macy on Reservation land near the bluffs of the Missouri river. We passed Big ELK park and took a series of muddy roads to a spot near the base of timbered Bluffs.
A seventy year old man Dennis lived in a trailer there with no electricity and his pup 5.O. Dennis was introduced to me by Barry and he was happy to have us set up base camp near the fire he had going. He started telling us that he heard voices coming from the timber at night and even heard a cough. He thought it was his neighbor but his neighbor was not home. He said he hears sounds often from the timber but hasn’t seen a Sasquatch. He replied I’m an old man and I want to see one before I die.
We set up base camp and had pork chops and twice baked potatoes for dinner that Paul had brought. It got dark soon and Barry needed to get some things from town so we came back to camp around midnight for night ops. Pork usually gets a reaction if Sas are around but nothing this time. We set out to an Alfalfa field where Barry and his nephew were approached earlier in the week. Two Sas came toward him and made some strange noises. Barry said that it scared them how close they had moved in. He thought they were talking to him like hey you called us in what do you want. Barry backed away and said he doesn’t want any trouble with them and they left.
When we drove out into the field about forty deer ran back into the timber. Sas will keep deer in an area for predation. There were many does and hardly any mature males. We arrived at the timber area and did some wood knocks as we split up in two groups. The moon light was too bright and nothing stirred. We tried to do some rapid knocking between each group and still couldn’t illicit a response. After an hour we traveled to another area that has been active.
When we arrived at Derek’s land it was very quiet and no breeze. An old abandoned farm house of Dereks wife’s family sat amongst the tree’s in the timber. He said that a small Sas jumped out the window one time when they had arrived there. A trail had been made up the steep bluff by some creating a two track. Derek thought his cousin was making a ATV trail. There was no activity there either the moon seemed to light up the area even in the tree’s.
We returned to base camp at 3 AM and went to our tents for the night. About 4 AM I heard a thud or stomp felt it by my tent as I was in a sleeping bag. Around that same time the pup 5.0 stared to bark. Deer will stomp so it could have been a large buck. Dennis had talked about one being around his place.
Then about 5 Am coyotes could be heard howling and yelping together. I fell back to sleep and remember waking up to the slightest increase of day light around 7AM. I heard Derek and Barry poking the fire, so I joined them. Derek had to be at work at 8AM so I went to Paul’s tent to get him a ride. Shortly after Paul left with Derek, Barry and I check our recorders. I had my hanging in a tree outside of camp in the timber. I had a trail cam pointed at camp too but had nothing on it but us around camp.

Then we heard the ahhoooo sound from the south. Dogs began barking and geese and birds started a cacophony of sounds. The call sounded out again – I said that a Squatch!! We turned on our recorders and walked closer to where the sound was coming from maybe a half mile away. It continued aahhooo with a kind of metal vibration at the end giving it a hollow sound! Then another dozen times with all hell breaking lose as other animals kept up. It was awesome to hear it call out as I believe it was going to its place where it would bed down for the day. I told Barry that he should keep a recorder down there often to catch more sounds. Cole heard it from his tent and stated that he has never heard that before and I’m an avid hunter. When Paul returned he agreed it was a Squatch. We broke camp and returned home after some discussion of the howls Saturday morning the 11th.

When we got out of the vehicle we approached a young buck that had been killed disemboweled and eaten down to the bone on the hind quarter. The kill had not been there to long probably some time that night. We noticed there was corn lying on the ground just outside the timber where the buck lay. A game camera was on the tree facing the bait pile and the buck was back out of the frame of view. It struck me as odd right away. About 15 yards away there was an area that had deer fur scattered around where the predation took place. The buck was moved up a slight incline to the location where we found it, just out of view of the game camera and near the bait pile.
The deer had no noticeable bullet wounds and we could not find a gut pile if it had been deer hunters kill. Coyote predation seemed the likely suspect as the bait pile brought the deer. This seemed to be a healthy deer with a nice rack, it would take a pack of coyotes to bring this deer down and there was no noticeable struggle in the area. Just the spot where the fur lay and the current spot the deer lay.
We walked back into the timber and I saw a double arch about 40 yards in then behind it was another structure with a teepee shape. As we looked around the structures Paul found a track on the leaf covered ground. He felt his way through the leaves and told me he just saw the edge of the track. He uncovered the area and a depression took form in the ground. It was a 14 inch by 5 inch at the heel track. The teepee structure had two large tree branches stuck deep into the ground positioned next to a tree in the center. Paul located two more tracks of similar dimensions around the Teepee structure. We now have corroborating Sas structure with foot prints. By the size of the prints it is probably a juvenile. We looked at some additional arches in the area and several other structures that had saplings leaning against other trees. There were many trees that had been uprooted and pulled or pushed into place. This area resembled other active areas I have been to with many structures visible as you stood and looked around the timber.
We decided to cast two of the footprints so we used our ultra-cal casting kits. I saw another stick structure that caught my eye and we all took a look at it. As we went to the front of it near the edge of the timber line it became evident that it was masterfully woven into place by a half dozen branches like an asterisk form. It was intricately held in place by branches pushed into the ground and woven to support the structure.
We needed to head home so we had to leave Colts cast in the ground. Paul covered it so we can go back and get it. Barry took his cast home to cure – Christmas came early with Operation Squatchafication on the Reservation! Delivering the hard evidence of Sas activity- This place will make an excellent base camp for night ops.

Scott Barry and I met in Macy Ne and went west of town to a woman’s home named Melanie. Melanie’s daughter had taken a picture of a 20 inch track left in the snow Sunday Feb 1st. The track line traveled from the East to West down a hill and through the front yard of Melanie’s property.
Melanie talked about frequent activity around and near her property. She said they hear strange noises come from down the tree line by blackbird creek. They have had Bigfoot come around there home knocking on windows and walking around the house. Her two dogs stay close to the house and do not bark at the Bigfoot. Her neighbor to the north of her heard war cry’s as the Sas circled his house knocked on his windows and tried to open his door.
Melanie said that she believes they are spirit beings so she leaves them tobacco as a gift so they will not bother them. She hears noises coming from down by blackbird creek at night. Her family has a bon fire in the yard and last summer they heard something being dragged down the gravel road in front of her place. She believes a Sas was dragging a deer because she could her it chirp/cry like it was in distress. They went inside when they realized what was happening.
There were deer bones and a deer pelt in a pile from a butchered deer scattered in her yard. Her neighbor often kills deer and butchers them leaving the carcass for the dogs. The air was full of the stench of dead animal. It hung in my nostrils an hour later. Only after a long hike through the snow did I finally break the smell of death. I could see how a sasquatch would pass through there often to scavenge for easy calories.
We will try and visit her place again in the spring and summer and follow up with the activity on going.

Carol Joy Holling Camp

Five days before full moon Link Tributary
I attended a retreat for my job at the Carol Joy Holling camp between Mahoney state Park and Ashland Nebraska. The park borders the Platte river and has a lake with 400 acres of grass and timberland. When I entered the park near ranch road I noticed immediately the calling card of Sasquatch a grouping of Arches ranging in size from several feet to 25 feet.
That morning I hiked a trail to check out the signs of animal life. I returned to the Swanson center and decided to go on a night op later. That night around 10:00pm Shadron and I hiked a trail in the dark about 400 yards from the Swanson center. I did a hand clap and we listened. We then walked down a hill and started up a trail when I encountered a strong wet animal smell. I said to Shadron do you smell that and he agreed. I told him it was a Sas near by and we surprised it. It was probably headed down to the creek for water not expecting anyone to be on this trail after dark.
We then walked back up to the spot where I had clapped and we then both heard a loud wood knock from farther up in the timber where we had encountered the smell. I believe they were communicating that we either were leaving or headed toward another Sas. There was no other sounds at that point and we returned to the Swanson centered elated to the events that occurred.
We returned with a lagerger group later and no smell or sound was heard I did a whoop but nothing else happed except when we cam back up the trail a branch swayed back and forth as if something had moved through just before us.

Traveling east on I-80 with my high beams on. There had been deer near the road and no other vehicles were on the highway. I was looking vigilantly to the end of my high beams 150 yards or so ahead. Just before the Platte River bridge I see a upright running blur cover all six lanes from south to north in three or four seconds. I did not have time to react and continued on in amazement. The Bigfoot moved fluently without bobbing up and down and the arms and legs were a blur but the upright torso was clearly Bi ped. I had never seen anything move that fast and it challenged my understanding of what I had just observed. I had a plane flight to catch in Omaha. An incredible testament to the speed of a Bigfoot. If I had not had my high beams on I would have certainly missed this encounter.

Barry and I met at Big Elk campground N.E of Macy Nebraska at 10 am. We discussed the recent sighting of four Juvie Sasquatch playing near a timber line behind the trailer home of a local man. Barry described the sighting as he had heard it from the man. He was awoken at 4 am to strange sounds in his backyard. He thought they were children but when he looked outside, he could see two black and two brown juvenile Sasquatch. He reported this to Barry as occurring on Thursday August 18th the torso week prior to me coming. I believe that this is another confirmation that the Sasquatch has prevalence for two or more offspring at a time “Twins”. I have noted this before and did a discussion on this a few years ago on the BFRO blue forum. We went to the home but he was not there. It is the same location we recorded the Oma Winter howl . Sasquatch Twins Sighting Twins sighting 2nd part
“Hin Shkube Nu” The hairy man in the Omaha language. Barry and I then drove north toward the “Hole in the rock” location along the Riparian forest “Missouri river. The roads had just been graded recently as we have not been able to access much of this timber. As we drove along the wooded dirt road we came upon a tree pushed or pulled over into the road holding down an arch. I exclaimed that the Sas have tried to block the recent road and have given a clear sign with this arch as their calling card. Arched tree road block We continued and could see other structures and arches as we drove. The descent to Hole in the rock gave me the impression that we were getting into some really squatchy habitat. Steep wooded ravines and thick cover of foliage dominated the landscape. The grading cut deeper into the sides of the bluff as we continued to descend the steep terrain. Barry commented that it is rumored that Jesse James was allowed to hide out by the Omaha and that his initials are somewhere near Hole in the Rock carved in the limestone. We reached a point where the road twisted and turned along, passing through a narrow Rock opening “Hole in the Rock”! It was as if we entered an ancient secret place. It opened up Hole in the Rock creek that met at the confluence of the Missouri river.
We drove back along the river to Big Elk camp and discussed our plan for the afternoon. We decided to take the road up the bluff to the old mission area. As we headed toward the bluff we could see a large full tree arch. We continued and reached a steep incline that went straight up. My jeep cleared the incline and we met a tree pushed over right at the top. I maneuvered around it and we were then on a nice gradual incline surrounded by vegetation and tree cover. The old mission had a grave yard that is supposed to be one of the most haunted places around. We will try and locate it another time. We continued up the winding bluff road.
I saw a rock historical marker and we stopped the jeep to take a look. It appeared to be very old but had nothing inscribed left on it. When I took pictures I began to walk around it and noticed an arch behind it. I walked to the top of the bluff and immediately we heard a wood knock. Quickly I returned to the Jeep to get my Giant squid mics, once again I was caught off guard without my recording running. Barry knocked back and it seemed the Sas was moving away from us with the return knock we heard. I got my recording started and used my hickory tire thumper to knock. The return knocks seemed to be leading the group away from us. That’s what we believe as this has occurred before with wood knocks moving away from us. I had Barry do a whoop as I wood knocked at the same time and we thought the return knock was getting closer. Maybe we were confusing them. This continued a few more times and stopped. The game was up. Anytime I can get return wood knocks it is an exciting experience unfortunately sometimes they are too far away to get a good recording. Link to Omaha Res Research Return knocks Video Return Knocks
We loaded in the jeep and headed back up the road, winding our way along the Riparian forest bluff of the Missouri river. I noticed a blind type shelter from the road and stopped the jeep. It was located on the bluff between two trees in a V shape built with dead branches from the timber area. The branches reached a point placed atop each other in a woven fashion open to the back. The blind was a affective look out for anyone coming up the road. I walked back behind the blind on the other side of the bluff and noticed a defined trail located just below the top about twenty feet below. This trail was hidden from the road and would allow easy cover along the bluff day or night. I suspected the lookout blind was built with this exit trail in mind. The Sas are the masters of stealth in the forest and always keep trees or something between them to break up their outline. This blind did that perfectly, it is more physical evidence of their existence. We took pictures and video and went back down the road. Today was a scouting mission and we didn’t spend as much time to recover tracks or hair as I would have liked Link to video of .Bigfoot Blind
As we traveled down the bluff I spotted an X structure that caught my eye. I stopped to shoot some video and take pics. The X turned out to be two X's one made by branches in the X fashion about twelve feet in size. Another one was located just off to its right behind and was a full tree X structure a super X. Two trees placed criss coss about twenty five to thirty ft high. I believe that these X signs are the meeting place at night for the Alpha male. Barry witnessed a large male squat down beneath an X structure in 2015 on the Res. Link to Double X
We reached a cross roads of two intersecting roads when I noticed an odd hole in some thick brush and foliage of a downed tree. This was right at the intersection and I suspected a location for a sentinel. We checked it out and it was a large opening in two spots each with a view of both roads. A large tree had been pushed over and the branches and leaves provided cover. The ground was matted down as if something big had been spending time in this brush. We took more pics and noted the location.
As we headed back to Macy I saw another large arch and stopped to photograph it. The arch was a live tree held down by a log. Barry stood beneath it and I took some pics of him for size comparison and I did the same. The classic Sas arch! A great find to end our day in this Sasquatch sanctuary riparian forest.
I had noticed an odor in the jeep and thought it was maybe from some of the weeds we had walked through or perhaps the soil turned over by the grader had brought it home with me. My wife commented how much I had stunk and said that it was like poop! I usually bring home the smell of the woods with me when out in it but this seemed more foul than earthy. Maybe I had brought some Sas stench back with me as I had been in their structures many times! You must pay attention to all the details while in their woods. There are hints given to you that may take time to process. Some of these experiences have taken years for me to review.

I met Barry Webster and Francis at 11am Friday at Big Elk Campground on the Omaha Reservation. Barry had a cabin reserved for the day and we discussed the Deer hunters who had arrived before us and taken our usual cabin. Muzzle loader season starts Saturday so we believed the Local Hin Shkube Nu “Hairy man” will be keeping an eye on them. The deer in these woods along the Riparian Forest Missouri River are their deer. Sue and Kyle Cryptid journalists from Omaha Ne join us a short time later to discuss a future collaboration with Rez Squatching.
We met for an hour discussing our experiences. Francis shared his, how he has moved into a trailer near black bird creek with his family. He has had continued encounters with several juveniles and a large grey male that frequently comes to his window at night. He and his wife have struggled with excepting their situation and Francis did not believe in Hin Shkube Nu before seeing him. He was a skeptic but now a person who knows they exist. He initially feared the first encounter watching the big grey colored male walk through the property was a shock. He wanted to get a rifle to protect his family. Other times when he came to their window they ran to their bedroom. Francis then had some experiences that he shared. Thoughts came to him from the Grey male that gave Francis insight into his experiences that brought peace to him. He now accepts that he lives with the Hin Shkube Nu and his families share this Riparian Forest with the Family of the Grey Male. Barry knows the name of this male and has had encounters with him that are ongoing.
We all shared stories and perspectives before heading out into the Riparian Forest along the Missouri river. We approached the wooded Bluff traveling on a two track in my jeep when the ground became muddy. Francis commented that a spring runs year round and made it muddy here. I stopped and Barry wanted to address the Hin Shkube Nu that we are here and intend to interact with them if they will with us. We walked around the heavy timber that surrounded us. Winter allowed us to see without the normal leafed cover. I saw an Arch that I wanted to photograph so I walked back into the timber about fifty yards and looked for tracks and any signs of the forest people. I photographed a arch held down by a tree fall that was holding it in place. I also photographed an impression that may have been a footprint; the ground had matted down areas that looked to be traveled by a bi-ped. I then came across a deer bone possible a leg. When I looked at it the location seemed curious below a tree without any other bones present as if it had been brought there. Francis picked it up and I noticed the signs of Bone Peeling “Hominoid teeth marks from biting down and pulling the flesh from the bone”, leave straight line teeth impression that are different from canine tearing, slashing type curved marks.
“Biotic Taphonomy Signature” Townsend study. Bite marks to be precise. See my website page Sasquatch predation for more on this topic or go to the Townsend study: One of three scientific contributions that I believe to be credible scientific evidence. The other two are “The Sasquatch Genome Project” of Dr. Melba Ketchum and Dr. Jeffery Meldrum “Relict Hominoid Inquiry”.
We then tried to ascend the bluff in my Jeep but the fresh spring water made an affective deterrent to the muddy incline. Spring water is something that really stands out as an eco-system conducive to a large relict hominoid and an integral part of my theory of the Nox Gigas. Karst system is created by spring water and the subterranean caves created are their home. We had exchanged wood knocks just up the two track into the timberline in August but today we would not be venturing any further. Barry suggested another route so we headed back to Big Elk campground to regroup.
We drove the road that led us straight back into the timber from town and stopped at a location that had a few tree arches to look at that I had previously seen in the summer. Now the dense undergrowth was gone and a series of fallen trees spread out into the timbered forest floor. The large arch had previously been a live tree with leaves still on it during the summer and was held down by a fallen tree. The arch was now free standing held in its arch shape for months. The tree limb that had held it down was rotted away and laid next to it. Another smaller tree arch was near the larger one and a tree break existed between the two arches. This is the calling card of Bigfoot, multiple signs in the same area. I always look for corroborating evidence when looking for their signs. Kyle questioned me on the ability of a tree to fall on top of the sapling and then create the arch. It is plausible for this to occur but unlikely for that to happen consecutively in the same area. These arches were created by pushing a tree over to hold the arch down or pulling one in place to hold the arch there. Generally the downed tree is not precisely lying were it fell but a few feet away to accomplish the desired support to hold down the arch. This is not a normal occurrence in nature. I photographed the scene to document the structures in their winter form.
We then drove to the look out over the Missouri river valley and the large tree line of Riparian forest that flanked the river and bluff area. A stark contrast to the lush green in summer but a reminder to the density of these woods as cover was still evident with the leaf less tree canopy. Barry addressed the Hin Shkube Nu in the Omaha language and then gave some whoops that carried in an acoustic resonance through the valley as no wind impeded the sound.
We headed back for dinner as I had brought Italian beef with au jus. We discussed the nights plan and Sue and Kyle opted to head back to Omaha to return another day. Barry and I took Francis home and decided to gas up the jeep in town. It was dark now so we wanted to get back up to the lookout bluff and gift some sweet grass that Kyle had brought. Two pieces of entwined sweet grass tied together about 10 inches long each. It was quiet at the top of the bluff the ride through the dark timber was eerie, I had run my camera a few times in hopes something would run out in front of my jeep. I brought out my new FLIR scout TK to take some video and pics while on the bluff. We walked cautiously in the darkness not to fall off the steep bluff as we approached the timber below us and the Missouri river valley. Barry addressed the Sas and invited them to join us on the bluff to show them to us. A bark or sound was heard then nothing. We scanned the area with the FLIR for 40 minutes and decided to gift another area. As we walked to the jeep Barry said that he felt something from the side of the road across from us a sort of fear or uneasiness. This is a sign of the Hin Shkube Nu presence, so Barry scanned the area with the FLIR but we got nothing. I have had mechanical or electrical failure of devices near Bigfoot and they are not always dependable around them. When I looked for this video time frame I could not find it on the memory so maybe I didn’t hit the record button, strange!
We went to pick up Francis and go offer the gift at an area we had found the burial mound and many structures. The two track we took was narrow and the darkness allowed very little light to penetrate the trees. I came to a stop as the trail got too muddy. We walked about another two hundred yards down the road into the timber when Barry addressed the Forest People. It was silent and we did not hear anything approach us. I scanned the FLIR again for about forty minutes but we saw nothing. We decided to try one more spot. The old abandoned house where Big Red I call him lives. The Sas I saw a few years ago when the headlights hit him as he walked back into the timber, he had matted red hair. Last year there was a small structure created on the trail that was made and I took pics of a large track impression and a smaller child like one. They were really great pictures for me. This night we saw a deer run up into the timber as we approached. Barry, Francis and I walked into the timber and went to the gifting area. A few weeks before Barry gifted a beaded necklace that they took! Barry addressed them and held up the Sweet grass to show them the gift. I scanned with the FLIR and saw a small white illuminated area that I believed to be the deer; it was close to the ground so after analyzing it I’m still not sure. Maybe just an anomalies but I do know they like to stay close to the ground when sneaking around. It was getting late so went back to Big Elk park and I retrieved my recorder I had hung out by the tree line toward the Missouri river. The geese were loud that night making constant noise. I will be curious to listen to what was recorded. I thanked Barry and Francis and then returned to Lincoln retracing the day events.
I seem to always reach back into the quantum entanglement that is my life to look for connections. This time it was the Thunderbird that I gave Barry and D. I had gone that week earlier and bought them at the Nebraska State capitol. They were one of only five hundred made with brass. The replicas are of the Thunderbird that is on the legislature Mahogany doors. Barry thanked me and said that the Thunderbird is the sign of the Omaha people. I was glad that I had chosen such a meaningful gift. Barry then gave me a beaded necklace that has the foot print of the Hin Shkube Nu on it. I was over joyed to receive this from him. We have a respect for the Hin Shkube Nu and for each other that are evident in the manner we conduct our research. Link to the photos of this expedition Omaha Res Research Dec 2016

I arrived in Macy around 11 AM and Called Barry and Brad. They were at the school with, Dr. Jeffery Meldrum and Gary Volker, Mike Hall of “Official Bigfoot Search Team” with Brian from L.A and Peter from the Netherlands filming a documentary. This was a scouting trip for Dr Meldrum and Gary to meet the Rez Squatching team and the Research area of the Omaha land on the Missouri river riparian forest. Dr Meldrum spoke to the school children and Barry had planned a ceremony to induct Jeff into the tribe.
Barry had me meet them down at Big Elk campground where we would start our introductions to Rez Squatching. I was just there a month before but this was different. The significance of an International researcher from the Relict Hominoid Inquiry was monumental in my mind. Rez Squatching is on the map. Barry and Derek’s hard work has culminated to National Status. There was no looking back now.
I greeted Barry with a hug (Brother) and met Dr. Meldrum, Gary and Mike with the documentary team as we entered the cabin where Barry and Rez Squatching had met so many times before. Jeff as “Dr Meldrum stated” I could call him; was an engaging persona. Gary and Mike are Nebraskans too flying under the Radar as Gary put it. Here we met with a common goal of researching Bigfoot.
Barry laid out the events of the day as we had lunch and they listened to our stories. Tonight we would have a sacred Omaha ceremony to bring Jeff into the tribe. Derek, Paul, Elvie and Delshay would join us later.
We drove out in a caravan of four vehicles to the Riparian Forest descending down to Hole in the Rock the sacred land of the O’ma ha. The descent led us through a winding icy two track that dug deep into the bluffs around us. The forest was stark in winter with thick deciduous timber unfolding all around us like an ancient cathedral. When we reached the last few twisting turns the large crust of rock opened up to the flat river bottom land. To our left was a large hole in the rock just as it is named dark and curved. The N/A are very literal in their description and I love that about them. The Hin’ Shkube Nu or “Hairy man” is a reminder of the history that they have shared. This is a reconnection of the past to the present. The Hin’ Shkube Nu and the O’ma ha, the “Thunder bird” clan. We have reached their sacred land beneath the bluffs where Chief Black Bird was interned.
We drove to the frozen water’s edge of the Missouri River and looked up at the Bluff with the dead timbered strewn land surrounding us. The cold was Artic, single digits but the Sun was out and there was no breeze. We talked about the significance of this land. Barry and I had taken another road straight up into the bluff, which was ice covered now and inaccessible, back in August. (It had been freshly plowed then). I had driven down here early in the day while I was waiting for them to meet me at Big Elk Park. I knew there was a fresh water spring somewhere up in that timber as I had been there in December and the road was to muddy to pass even n my jeep. Now everything is frozen solid.
We decided to do a wood knock, so I brought out my truck tire bat and whacked a tree three times then had Barry whoop on the third time. A short while later a clear wood knock could be heard in the dead timbered strewn about by the river, off to our right when facing the bluff. We all said that was a knock and pointed that direction. There was no wind and it was very quiet. These were the perfect conditions for recording wood knocks. I was wearing my giant squid mics on my coat and normally would have them on my hat but my stocking cap didn’t give me that option. The sound man had his mics going so I’m sure he captured the return Knock. Then we decided to try again but my tire knocker split in half from the bitter cold! Gary had his own knocker and he struck the same tree. Another return knock came from the timber near the Missouri river. The Hin, Shkube Nu are active in the winter there is no doubt. Jeff told me later that that was the first return wood knock he had heard in the field. Gary was elated too to have such a clear knock returned. We decided to gather wood for a bon fire when we return. This was the location that we would do our Night Operation! We then drove to the lookout point to view the Missouri river and the Riparian forest from above. Peter (camera man) did a whistle but it was quiet there. We decided to return there at night to use the FLIR Thermal Imager. Dr. Meldrum Return Wood knocks
It was getting dark so we returned to Big Elk campground where Paul would be meeting us with D and Delshay. We ate Dinner that Paul had brought, Meat loaf, Au gratin Potatoes and Green bean casserole. You can’t beat a hot meal in this type of Arctic cold, the temperature was hovering around Zero. We shared more stories at the cabin and I asked Jeff about the Blue Mountain Track way in Washington State that he had casted his first prints in the 90’s. He said that there more than thirty tracks. They were presumably a female and two younger ones. The female track had one foot slightly turned out as if she had been looking back at the road behind her. At one point her foot prints increased in stride and Jeff believed that she began to run on her front pads and toes. Those prints led directly to brush and then disappeared. He said he had not seen a track find that big since then. His description and subsequent research of the foot is telling in the way the female ran. I was in awe of this exchange and felt this had been a surreal experience for me.
When D arrived the ceremony was set to begin. D asked that this not be filmed so, I will also honor his request and not go into detail of the Sacred ceremony we partake in. Jeff received a Blanket made by the Omaha and was given a sacred name as a new member of the Thunderbird Clan. We were now ready to here Barry’s prayer to request us a visit by Hin’ Shkube Nu as we prepared to go on our night operation. We all changed into our cold weather gear and Paul left to return home, he could not stay. Brad got a head ache and had to leave too. Delshay had to return to the Tribal Police. D would meet up with us later. It would be just, Barry, Elvie, Jeff, Gary, Mike, Peter, Brain and myself to head back down to the Hole In the Rock.
We caravanned back down into the timbered riparian forest along the Missouri river and turned our vehicles to the bluff to shine on our lights when Hin Shkube Nu comes. Barry got out of my Jeep first and I was setting my recorder and getting my FLIR ready. It took a moment for us all to get ready but I could tell Barry sensed an urgency to get to the timber. He came back to me as I got out of my Jeep and he told me that he is here, Hin’ Shkube nu had just came out of the darkness and stood for a moment then returned back. right in front of Barry. Barry was upset that we were all too slow and missed this opportunity. Once again we were not prepared even with the state of the art equipment brought in from California. Once we all gathered together Barry announced our presence but it was quiet and nothing more stirred. We scanned the bluff and around us as we started the fire.
The temperature was very cold down by the river and if you stepped away from the fire you felt the arctic air immediately. I kept my eyes on the ridge line looking for shadow or any movement but there was only solitude. In the timber nothing was moving and the moon was rising which would cast a bright light onto the wooded canvas before us. At one point I thought I saw eye glow in the timber. I pointed out to Gary and Mike. I told them that they will peek around trees and exhibit eye glow as they do this. We decided to walk toward the light source to see what it was but when Mike and I approached it we could tell it was a reflection of the moon beam on the snow covered log. Moon shadows will distort size and shape and the moon light has played some tricks here tonight on me. I have seen eye glow many times but was hopeful I could make a believer out of the guys tonight. Unfortunately there was too much moon light to let the Hin’ Shkube Nu move in close to us.
Rex, Barry’s son arrived with D, it was time to start the next phase of our Night op. I wanted to get back up into the Road just up into the Bluff but the steep incline was snow covered with Ice and we would not be able to ascend it. D and I decided to hike up the hill and access it on foot. We took the team up the embankment that was at a 90 degree angle slowly one at a time. As we reached the road it was evident that the Hin Shkube Nu had brought trees and branches onto the road. We could not pass this point in a vehicle even if we had made it to the incline. I looked up and around us knowing that the Sentinel of the group would be right here as we came onto the road. I asked for a head count to be sure everyone is on the same page. Flashlights scanned all around and I knew that they would stay back out of the light. I told Jeff that this road was cleared in August but the debris here appears to be more substantial than what would normally occur from storm damage. I believed especially the large tree that covered the whole road. I asked Jeff “where did this large tree fall from” and he looked puzzled as he looked up and around. He suggested that this needed further investigation during the day to determine what was happening here. The road continued on with tree and branch cover as we hiked in stepping over the debris. I knew that it was the calling card of Hin’ Shkbe Nu and that they did not want us to come any further. A natural spring was another 400 yards up the road back in the timber and I wanted to get to that point. D led us up into the wooded bluff off the road and a huge Asterisk stood near the ridge line. Easily, (6 ft by 6ft). I said immediately it’s an Asterisk and Jeff then approached it and began commentary with the camera crew. He told me later in an e-mail that the Asterisk was the first Tree and stick structure that he would refer to as trace evidence; he seemed intrigued in examining it. He held the woven branches and pulled on them as they stayed in place. This was his first believable structure and it was impressive. I shot FLIR pics of it but did not have my camera. I hope the video will do it justice when the documentary is completed. I was on a Squatching High in this frigid weather! Gary examined a tree break not far from the Asterisk and we could see we were directly above the Bon Fire. D walked us back out of the timber back to the road to where we met Barry at the Jeep.
D, Elvie , Barry and I then took the caravan to the Look Out over the Missouri River valley to use the Thermal Imager to scan the bottom forest. While standing at the Bluffs edge D talked about this sacred place and its significance for the Omaha Shaman. He said that to be a Shaman had a final test of three days fasting on this bluff, no food or water. On the third night the men would be approached by the Hin’ Shkube Nu. The Hin Shkube Nu would approach behind then growl and stomp around. Only the one who stayed and did not run in fear could be the Shaman of the Omaha. I may not have told this story correctly and I mean no disrespect in sharing this publicly. Forgive me brothers for my ignorance. What I do think is significant is that going out into the timber requires faith and there is no tolerance for someone to run away. We have no weapons or way to defend ourselves from the Hin’ Shkube Nu we rely on bravery and faith to guide us. The lesson of the Shaman is the lesson of faith and trust in your brother.
We drove to another location where a howl had been heard a few days earlier, but it was quiet and the wood knocks by Gary were unreturned. It was around 12:30 AM and flights to Los Angeles and Pocatello were in early in the morning. We shook hands and I took some final Pictures of Barry with Jeff, Gary, Mike, Brian and Peter. This was a huge success for Rez Squatching and I am proud of all my brothers have contributed to this research. I drove the guys back to Big Elk after a brief trip to town. Barry walked with me back to the Timber where I had positioned a Blackout trail cam. I left to head home to my wife and said good bye to my Brothers. As I drove along the road heading to the highway two deer jumped out in front of my jeep. I sounded my horn and stomped on the brakes. It reminded me that you have to be prepared all the time for the unsuspecting. I knew to watch for deer and my high beams on still shook me up. I checked my memory card the next day for the trail cam. I realized that when I had put batteries in the cam I forgot to put the memory card in from my other trail cam. So maybe the Hins’ Shkube Nu did visit but I was just not ready yet.

I arrived in Macy Ne the Omaha Res at 11:30 AM CDT. I spoke to Barry and he was with the members of the Nebraska Bigfoot Conference (Hastings Ne): Harriet Mcfeely and Robin Roberts with the Bigfoot Cross roads crew Jimmy and Joyce. I picked up Barry and we drove down to the Big Elk Campground to unpack and have lunch at the cabins. We introduced ourselves and shared stories of our research. Robin with “Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies” and her dog Roo will be presenters at the Conference. Harriet and Robin had been to other conferences together and Robin had taken Harriet to some of her locations in Colorado to conduct research. Robin was very knowledgeable of Tree and Stick structures and Harriet was enthusiastic in coming to the Rez. They both had Bigfoot sightings in Colorado and were KNOWERS that the Relict Hominoid exists.
After Lunch D arrived and we all set out into the timber along the Riparian Forest Missouri river. The roads were too muddy to travel up into the bluff so we decided to hike into the timber and look for Signs of the local Hins’ Shkube Nu (The Hairy Man) Omaha. It didn’t take long to begin seeing the signs there were some arches and tree breaks that were twisted. Robin whistled while we hiked and told me that she uses this technique in her area to allow the Bigfoot to identify her. We noted that the timber had a lot of mounds scattered throughout. There was a large long mound just about fifty yards from the base of the bluffs that shadowed the bluff. (Ran along beside it) I thought that this could be made from flooding. There were many other mounds that may indicate burials but would need to be properly excavated and that takes time to get permission. In the future we will pursue this option.
We found an Opossum up in a tree near a structure. I took a picture of it. I have seen up close a predation of an Opossum by a Bigfoot. It had left the bones in a pile covered with leaves and a tuft of hair left on top of the pile. (Like a chicken dinner all piled up) I think it is important to note the potential food sources as they are observed. There were walnuts all over too that would be easy calories. I found a foot print in the ground with leaves pushed out away from it. It was approximately 17 inches by 7 inches. The Timber along the Missouri river is old growth and strewn around with dead fall branches. We continued to find arches and then came upon a Super X. The Super X was held in place over and under between two trees and had a log supporting one of the timbers from the ground. The other Timber was held in place by the tension of the placement behind a tree. It was easily twenty five feet tall. This Super X was the work of an Alpha male. I believe at night he would be in this area near these structures especially this Super X. Right behind the Super X was a twisted tree break and an arch. There were other whole tree breaks and saplings woven through a series of structures. This was an active area for sure!
I had brought a wooden tire thumper for trucks to do some tree knocks and I had D try it out. We had a return knock. We hiked a little closer back toward the Jeep and D tried the knock again but this time the wood knocker split in half. It was inferior wood. The one I had broken on the previous month was hickory but that was because it was below zero. Robin said that she makes hickory ones and would sell me one at the conference. (Very cool).
We drove back to Big Elk and got ready to go to Dinner. I put up a trail cam behind the cabins in the timber where I had positioned one before. This time I had it loaded with batteries and a memory. It is a .2 second trigger speed so very fast video. I decided to set it to video and 10 seconds increments. We drove to have dinner in Decatur but the Green Lantern was too busy on a Friday night. We then went into Iowa and had dinner at the Omaha Rez Casino there. It was Prime rib night and we were all hungry!
We returned around 10 PM and some of the group took a nap for a few hours. Barry and I picked up Tina and discussed the plan for night OPS. We decided to split up into two teams. Barry Had D, Jimmy, Robin and George go to Black Bird point. (The Loess Hills team). He then had me, Barry, Harriet, Tina and Joyce use the thermal tent and place it at a home abandoned in the timber outside town. ( The Nox Gigas Team).
At Midnight I went down to the ladies cabin and let them know it was time to go. They met us 15 minutes later and we discussed the plan. Robin said that when she walked to our cabin she whistled and had a reply whistle! It looked to be a great night for NOX OPX. We all then drove to our locations and agreed to meet back at 3 AM in Big Elk. We would be too far from each other to use Walkie talkies so we just went quiet.
When I pulled on to the road by the abandoned house a figure darted across the road in front of my Jeep toward the house. Our plan was to set up the thermal tent and see if I could get some thermal images of the hairy man approaching us. The temperature had dropped considerably and it was signal digits out now. Barry introduced us to the Hairy man and we each said something to identify ourselves. I scanned with my FLIR but nothing stood out. We then set up the tent and we all gathered inside. Five people in a hunting blind was tight but we could all look out a window and it was warmer this way. It was very quiet once we got into the tent. Previously we had heard some walking in the timber. I scanned around and saw three deer com into the timber from across the road. There had been a lot of deer on the move at night. I suspect the Bigfoot keep them on edge around here. Eight had crossed the road together earlier in the evening.
It was getting late and our early luck of one crossing the road in front of us was all we could get from this location. We needed to meet the group back at Big Elk. We took down the tent and drove back after dropping off Tina. When we arrived back at Big Elk I needed to retrieve my trail camera. Barry decided to gift a carving from the Lumni Tribe in California. We waded through the tall grass in the timber behind Big Elk campground. It was dark and we used our flashlights to creep our way to the tree where I had set up the trail cam about 200 yards from the cabins. Barry had the carving and I told him to look at the camera before gifting it. I couldn’t see to take down the cam so I had Barry shine a light so I could get the cam down. This only took a few moments and we were walking back out to the campground. There is always a eeriness back in the timber even during the day so it was no different then. We always try and have the buddy system that I learned from my Airforce days. Safety first in the bush! No one should be doing this alone in my opinion. There are just too many unknowns even for those of us who have been researching for years.
When we returned to the cabins D and the Loess Hills crew were returning. They were all jacked up and had a lot of Eye glow at Blackbird point. I had wanted to go there but the team approach was the right thing to do that night. It was three AM and I had a two hour drive back to Lincoln. I thanked my Bro’s and my new conference friends and began my drive back to Lincoln. It seemed the Loess Hills team had the better Night Op.. or did they? The following day I loaded pictures onto my computer and also uploaded the trail cam. To my surprise there were a couple times the trail cam was triggered around 1 AM. I looked back at the two ten second videos and noticed something odd. The .2 second trigger was being set off by some flying objects. I ruled out bugs it was single digits in February/ Nebraska. Then I thought maybe it was wind blowing debris? No, I have used a trail cam many times and when that is the case it will go off all night long or at least more than twice. Then I noticed what looked like an arc of one of the light trails that captured the object. It had to have some weight, and then it dawned on me. The Hin Shkube Nu was tossing pebbles or small stones to check the trail camera. It appeared that the cam was being set of from multiple directions around it. It must be Juveniles trigger the cam, Im sure the adults would not waste their time with this and just avoid the area. Earlier that night banging was heard and walking noises back in the timber around midnight before we left. We were the entertainment for the Juvies! I then looked at the last frame with Barry and I doing the gifting around 3 AM. I noticed at about the 6 second mark a rock being thrown directly toward me behind the trail cam! What, they were there when Barry and I approached and did the gifting. It was very dark and I was focused on getting in and out of the timber.
Wow, you cannot anticipate what and when you will have activity with the Hins’ Shkube Nu. We received a bit of a hazing by the Juvies and were completely unaware of their presence. I will try and isolate individual screen shots to see what is going on with the rock throws. Amazing!

Nebraska Bigfoot Conference Organizer’s
4/19/17 Wilderness Park
I met the organizers of the Nebraska Bigfoot Conference at my research area in Lincoln Ne Wilderness park, 1700 acres of old growth deciduous forest along the S.W of Lincoln. Harriet Mcfeely, Joyce Eicher, and Ellen Vorderstrasse met me at the S. Entrance and we proceeded to hike in along Salt creek to where some known structures have occurred.
Joyce had been there a few times and was familiar with the area; she shared her observations as we proceeded to the large Alpha male Super structure. The whole tree structure displays the massive strength of an Alpha male and is awe inspiring when you approach it. It is just off the path and is visible from far off if you know what you are looking at. Hundreds probably thousands of people have walked, biked or hiked right by this Super structure arch and thought nothing of its immense presence of Bigfoot in the area!
We took pictures and I explained that I had found this structure in 2014 but it may have been built in 2013 as that was when I did the sound blasting of Whale recordings in this area. (I had not noticed it then). Several X’s one standing and one rose just above the ground were new. Also there was a large asterisk that Joyce had seen when she first came out here. Joyce and her husband had come to the location when they had read about it on my website. She has gotten good at seeing structures and she had bought my book too! The Sas will take down structures after a while also, so some stay like this Superstructure Marker and others are temporarily positioned for communication or directional markers. (their forest Signs).
What strikes people as shocking is the Urban setting that this park possesses. I had learned on my first expedition by Jim Sorenson that they do spend time in urban corridors. I knew that there had been sightings around salt creek in the past and the Halibut affect that if the ecosystem still offers food, water and access they may still be here. Well these structures are physical evidence of their existence and the new ones validate that they are still here today! When I went on a scouting research expedition with Dr. Meldrum he studied an Asterisk on the Omaha Rez and he called it trace evidence. I have no doubts they are as good as foot prints when identifying their location!
We photographed some more structures and Joyce pointed out the Tipi structure on the other side of Salt creek (an oxbow type island that we would need to hike in around) the other side of the creek. I thought right away we need to get over there and look it over! We circled back and hiked on the other side of salt creek. It was not much but a loose game trail that I led everyone through. We saw some predation of deer skeletons lying around and crossed under a nice arch right over the trail held down by a log. I wanted everyone to see that it is a classic Sasquatch structure! As we continued we saw other arches and stick structures that confirmed to me the Sas were just as active on this side of Salt creek. These little islands are oasis for Bigfoot because that have only one way in and they can keep a close eye on who is coming and going. I have no doubt a sentinel was watching us the whole time we were there.
We approached the Tipi structure that was built on a fallen tree stump about nine or ten feet high. The small branches and sticks covered the structure all around it and there was an opening with a branch pulled into it. There were also many large tree branches pulled onto the structure. I know the first reaction is that this was made by a survivalist or a group of Boy scouts but I know that Sas leave their calling cards in some not too obvious ways. The first is the amount of large trees and branches that were pulled onto the stump. It would be too heavy for any group of people to do this and serve no purpose for a shelter. Additionally the arch nearby was directly connected to the tipi structure by logs and branches. Bigfoot walk on these branches and logs to conceal their foot prints. The large branch lying in and out of the opening to the structure is also a calling card. They will walk on the log to enter and exit the structure. I theorize that these Tipi structures are not really shelters but nurseries for the baby Bigfoot. They can be placed in there out of harm’s way and essentially be a play pen for them to use. They can run along the tree branches on the ground and not leave any foot prints ect.. The time of year I have seen these and the fact that they are taken down eventually gives me some reasoning to the true Nature of this structure.
We left a gift on the top part of the tipi made by Joyce “a pouch with a strap that had tobacco in it”. I used her walking stick to tuck it in up high and away from prying eyes. The Bigfoot will smell it so it doesn’t need to be visible to them. We photographed the area and looked at some additional structures and possibly a print before hiking out. I only had a few hours to get out with them and the time had flown by. As we hiked out I took a little different route and got turned around with the creeks surrounding us. We got back on track with the I-phones but I thought it was curious. You can get disoriented when in the presence of Bigfoot in the area and I got easily confused in an area I know well. Hmmm.. Well we had a great time and got to see some amazing structures in an urban setting. I had only taken a few people here in the past, so it was exciting to be able to talk about what they were seeing. We agreed to get back here together when I have more time and I told them that there is a lot of Wilderness park yet to see.

Oak lake and Wilderness Park
Research group tour
Members of the Nebraska Bigfoot conference met in Lincoln Saturday May 20th at Oak Lake. I gave a brief presentation on the history of the Saline wetlands in the area and sightings that have occurred in the Salt creek corridor. Salt deposits can still be seen leaching up from the ground during dry weather. Oak lake sets near the confluence of Oak Creek and Salt creek. In this location lie remnant Saline wetlands dispersed within the tall reeds of Capitol beach and bordering the banks of Oak Creek.
As a boy I rode my dirt bike on the Salt flats that are the current Saline wetlands of capitol beach. I remember seeing the white salt deposits on the sandy soil then. Salt is integral to all animals in the area by providing the minerals needed for robust health. When you have concentrated animal activity you have predators as well. The Buffalo, Deer and Antelope thrived in this valley and so did wolves, Coyotes, Foxes and Mountain lions. The Native Americans came here to preserve their buffalo meat after successful hunting. I suspect they left gut piles for scavengers and that are a delicacy of Bigfoot. They like the high nutritional value of some of the discarded innards.
The Relict Hominoids have been here long before the Native Americans came to these plains. They had no competition for calories and had the first pick of the cornucopia of bounty within the valley! The salt marshes and the deciduous forests provided adequate diversity for these Giants to thrive. Today the creeks that flow through the valley confluence with Salt creek that carries into the Platte and then into the Missouri flowing easterly. The Riparian forests that flank these rivers are the heart of Bigfoot habitat and the creeks themselves are the life blood.
Wilderness park along the S.W of Lincoln was the next stop for the group to see the Riparian forest habitat in person. The park itself is 1700 acres with the Salt creek winding through its entirety. The creek creates isolated land locked islands that are surrounded by 20 ft deep river banks. The presence of Dakota sandstone is of particular interest because this is the Karst system that creates caves with flood water. Robbers cave East of Wilderness park is just such an example of a cave made by flood water rising and then leaving a hollowed out section of Dakota sandstone behind. Caves offer year round temperate climate of 50 degrees, cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I suspect there are other pockets of cave systems within Wilderness Park that are used by the Bigfoot as their burrow/homes. This is important because a large upright walking relict hominoid needs to be stealth and also needs reclusive climatic cover that a cave offers.
We walked a trail along Salt creek on the south end of the park. This is the location of a super structure Arch that I had found in 2013 that still is intact and a great example of a Arch with supports. The heavy ground cover made it difficult to wade into the structure area but I was able to point out the structural points to the group. Near the Super structure is an X and an Asterisk both about 20 yards to the east. I had them look at these structures from all around to grasp the placement of the branches and the supports. It is important to me for someone to see these for themselves to truly appreciate them. I know some people post videos of multiple structures on YouTube jumping from one to another like an Easter egg Paparazzi hunt. I’ve always approached structures with respect and photograph them as a piece of art. It is awe inspiring for me to find structures and I never get tired of looking for them. The woven elements of some structures show the dexterity and strength involved to make them. When I first started finding them and taking pictures I believe as I still do, the Bigfoot are watching and are curious about me too. I struggled with sharing this to the public but ultimately it is selfish to keep this information. I believe sharing is the key to solving this mystery and we are all working on this puzzle together. Some of us have just been working longer at it.
We hiked back out to enter the Island area surround by Salt creek. There was only a loose game trail that I led everyone through. We walked along the creeks edge and could see the water was running high from heavy rains. As I got near the area that went under an arch and seemed to be a good spot to watch the trail across the creek I noticed some trampled down grass. It was curious to me and I pointed it out to the group as they worked their way behind me. It was probably a deer there were actually a few spots along the tall grass that looked like something had been laying in it. It did occur to me that the Bigfoot could have been sitting there watching the trail. Deer like to be under trees but lay out in the grass too. The structures and the bedding areas had me making a connection but I cannot say for sure. See the pics for yourself and come up with your own truths. We walked back to the Tipi that we had left a gifting pouch with tobacco. It was still there but we checked to see and I had Shadron put it back in place. Nothing was touched. The group looked at the Tipi and the sticks and branches that were placed on a fallen tree are made by survivalists too but the corroborating structures in the area give me assurance that the local clan made it.
Before we left a whistle was heard as Robin whistled and other sounds seemed to be coming from across the creek. We listen in silence and Robin stated that this is where she would be every weekend. I was pleased that she felt this way as she came all the way from Colorado in a winter storm there. We all hiked back out and when we got to the parking area Robin and Roo looked toward the timber where a path was marked by a sign no hiking… hmm she whistled and said that we are being watched. I grinned again to see her curiosity. I had not realized you could not hike in that area and they have marked horse trails too but it seemed strange to see that. Sharing this area with others was rewarding to me. My hope is when people gain this experience they will seek out areas to explore and expand their concept of this emergent hominoid. Day hikes into the woods offer unique opportunities, so take a back pack with casting materials gloves and baggies. Have a small recorder running to capture whistles or wood knocks. Anyone with an interest can get started this way and on this site I have many helpful research methods.

Rez Squatching Research Expedition
August 17th - 20th 2017
Waxing Crescent Moon Sunrise 6:44 Set 8:08pm
I arrived at Big Elk Park outside of Macy Nebraska after 4 pm on Thursday the 17th.Barry assigned me a cabin where we would be doing our presentations and meetings. I met Sam and Terry, two of the new participants of the Expedition. I had known Terry from the Nebraska Conference and had gotten him on board the expedition. He was excited to get together with us all. Sam was on his first expedition and seemed open to the experience. I then met Cassie a new member to the Res Squatching team with a background in Horticulture. She had been up to Macy often the past six months and was excited to meet everyone too. Harriet, Tammy and Robin with her dog Roo were already in their cabin and camper. Jeff from the conference was attending also he had come to Lincoln to see my research area too. Sue was in Macy and would come later. Connie came just before 5 pm and we had every one of the people scheduled made it. Barry, Derek and Elvie comprised the remainder of the Research team for Thursday night.
We engaged in a greet and meet dinner at 5pm with Indian bread and a traditional meat and vegetable soup. Rufus an Omaha Elder gave the blessing in the Omaha Language and English. Respect has been an integral part of Rez Squatching research to the Ci’tonga and the land. Rufus told me a story of how he had been responsible for his family’s horses as a child. Horses are valued in the Omaha culture. He had one horse he could call and the rest would follow. Rufus is eighty years old and had sung and danced the traditional Omaha music. He told me he went to Washington DC and sang there too. Rufus is in the Library of Congress and the National archives of the NA. His blessing gave depth to our Expedition and the connection we are embarking on. Barry discussed the plan for Night Operations and we would break into two groups. We broke out for the evening to rest and get our equipment ready. There was already activity happening behind the cabins the smell and presence of Ci’tonga was noted by several researchers.
We started Night OPX at Midnight technically the 18th of August 2017. Barry broke us into groups and I was with Jeff and Connie, Barry and Sam. I had set up a dash cam on my dash board window area to try and catch a Bigfoot out in the open. It is more common to see one from your vehicle during a road crossing and I had this happen before so I decided to use a dash cam. When we left out in a caravan we got split up and Jeff, Connie and I accidently followed Derek's group. They went to the old abandoned house and there were too many people together I believed to have a good shot at a close encounter. I turned around and went to find Barry and Sam. We drove back to Big Elk but they were not there. I decided to put my dash cam to use and drove through some of the roads around Macy. We ended up going to the look out near Black bird point. It was quiet there as I brought out my FLIR to scan the area. I gave a whoop from the lookout but nothing returned. The Missouri River valley was below us and the thick timber here has a lot of deer. It was dark and quiet. No eye glow was noted so we waited a while and decided to head back to Big Elk. We did see a lot of deer active along the roads. They were on the move and I suspected the Bigfoot were too. There were other animals roaming that time of night too by the eye shine we had seen along the ditches. Plenty of food for an omnivore. It was after 2 AM and we called it a night. The other team returned and had a group of Bigfoot pass near them through the timber. They were very excited!
On August 18th Friday we had presentations during the Day. Harriet and discussed her theory on Salt and Bigfoot as they connect. We then did a hike in the timber where Barry presented the Cedar tree presentation. Barry discussed the Omaha people using the Cedar tree for making moccasins and fish basket traps as an integral part of their history. I photographed a partial foot print, the front pad and toes. The Nox Gigas will run and jump off the mid tarsal break separating the front and heel parts of the foot. We saw other structures but had to cut the hike off short to return to Big Elk. At 4pm Delshay Webster led us in a repelling course as a team building exercise. Delshay is a Veteran (Sniper in Afghanistan) and a Tribal Police officer. He teaches Repel to the Nebraska State Patrol. We practiced then five of us repelled off Million Dollar hill (70 ft cliff) near Macy. It was an awesome experience to get certified in Repel! We had a traditional vegetable soup dinner with Indian bread and were blessed again by Rufus. We took group pictures of us holding flags to commemorate unity. We were going to do the remote camp but decided we didn’t have time to set up our tents in time so moved that to Saturday night. Paul was coming then and he wanted to participate in the remote camp. We rested and told stories by the camp fire with smores! As we were there Terry and Elvie had a sighting. They had come back from town and around 10 pm when they pulled into Big Elk they saw a huge alpha male just behind the cabin near the tree line timber. He was described as grey/white in color and was eleven to twelve feet in height in comparison to the peak of the cabin. Elvie stated he took one step and disappeared in the timber. From their truck they had a good view of his rear end “It was like the butt of an elephant as he stepped into the tree line”. It is rare to see an Alpha Male. I believe with hunters in Big Elk camp for deer season the Big guy stays close to the cabins to keep an eye out for them. Also any gut piles will be easy pickings for the Big guy. Just hang out and wait for the dinner bell. I’m sure he didn’t expect people to take notice of him and he was very curious of us.
We broke back into night op groups and Barry, I, Jeff, Connie and Sam went to Black Bird hill. It was eerie there and we heard some noises but quiet over all. A raccoon sound kept up behind us and Bigfoot like to mimic but it was a certainty what was happening. Very dark deep timber. The place has a history of ghost activity from a women who had died there. Many times the areas associated with Bigfoot has a haunted history too. A large Buck crashed through the timber ahead of my head lights and I thought maybe a Bigfoot would be chasing it! I thought “keep the dash cam going”. If Terry and Elvie had one in his car we would have had an Alpha Male on camera! We decided to go to the Burial mound hill and drove in on the road that looked like no one had been on in months. As we arrived Barry did a faint Whoop and we introduced ourselves individually. Eye glow began to peak from the trees deep in the timber about 100 yards. Then several more illuminated ambient light around the tree’s with two white eyes glowing each. That is awesome every time it happens! No matter how many times I have seen this which is in the hundreds by now I am awestruck by their eye glow!! We continued watching and thought one was coming closer but did not see it as it approached. After a while it was after 3 AM we were supposed to meet back at camp. I finally got to bed around 4:30 AM and was exhausted by the day’s activities.
Saturday August 19th 2017 I showered early and began to get my presentation ready for later that day. I also got my equipment sorted out to do more recording for night ops. We had lunch and Robin gave her presentation on Bigfoot tracks and gathering evidence. Then Cassie gave her presentation on the viability of sources of food for a apex hominoid. I finished up the day with the European Contagion Theory and we all gave informative substantiated contributions to the existence of Bigfoot! We had barbecue sandwiches with Indian bread for dinner and Paul arrived to join us. Barry discussed the plan for a remote camp and the option of participating in it or not. Just before sunset we drove to the area we had seen eye glow the night before and set up two camps one along the two track road and another back into the timber by the eye glow. Paul, and I had tents and Connie, Tammy and Robin and Roo had Robins tent near us. Cassie, Terry, Jeff, Sam and Barry were going to stay along the two track and set up tents there. We left everything there and went back to Big Elk to get ready for Night OPS. As we sat by the campfire a short time later Terry’s truck alarm went off. We were all excited and thought the Big Guy threw a rock at it. Terry and a group of us went over to his vehicle and found a huge hand print and fingertip impressions on his hood! This corroborated the sighting to me as the hand print was huge exceeding twelve inches and fingertip impressions quarter size with digits as wide as Twinkies! Wow a class A sighting right in camp a Big Elk Park!! I walked the timber line and smelled the Bigfoot’s presence. Cassie said she left a arranged bark pieces on a stump and it had moved them earlier. It was an entertaining night!
We broke into groups around midnight and looked over at the abandoned house but had no activity there. The plan was then to head back up to the remote camp and spend the night there. We arrived and the rain started to come down with wind and lightening. We waited in our vehicles to see if the rain would stop and decided to wait it out. As I was putting batteries in walkie talkies I heard activity back in the bush behind my Jeep, while I was standing with my back to the timber! I got that errie feeling and knew we were not alone. Around 2 AM we introduced our selves individually to the Bigfoot in the timber. We began to have eye glow behind us and in front of us. The wind and lightening wiped up a vibe form a horror movie and Roo was very agitated (Tail between legs whimpering close to Robin) by activity coming in very close to us. Robin found scat with plums in it on the road and said it was from a bear. I told her we do not have bear in Nebraska and she said that is what she has seen from Bear scat in Colorado. The lightening seemed to empower the Bigfoot and we had action all around us sounds of branches breaking in the timber and eye glow in the trees around us. Half the camp decided to not spend the night citing the rain as the reason to go back to Big Elk. The remote camp was optional and I can't blame new people to be freaked out by the experience. Very few people would have stayed under these conditions. This only left Robin, Roo, Connie, Tammy and Paul and I to stay in the remote camp. Once they all left, Barry went back to base camp and was going to come back later, as we set in chairs on the two track.
The errie feeling was intense and we all just sat there waiting for something to happen. I keep looking back behind me thinking something is in the tree line only feet away from me. It was three AM and we decided to hike back to our tents and call it at night there. I started my recorder as I sat in my tent wondering what to expect. A short time later a tree could be heard crashing down. I heard the ladies talking and knew they were awake but nothing form Paul. I think he was sleeping. I was exhausted having only slept a few hours that past few days but I thought Barry was going to come back so I started to radio him. No return calls from him so I listened. All of a sudden the recorder I had hanging from the zipper of my tent started to swing like a pendulum! The red light swayed back and forth like a fish on the line. I looked at my tent wall and it started coming in toward me! I grabbed my hat and swatted the tent area where it was moving. It stopped then. My heart was racing so I waited again to see what would happen. I never carry a weapon unless I have my machete but didn't bring that along either! A half hour had passed by and I radioed again to see if Barry was coming. He returned my call this time and was on his way. I told him to come to my tent to stay there and not be alone at the other camp. When Cassie and Terry dropped him off he radioed to me to come up to the road with my light. I shinned my flash light out of my tent for him to come to me. I didn’t want to get my boots on again and walk out. He radioed he can see it and talked to me as I guided him in. Barry had a chair with him. (I think for protection). He said the vibe is intense here. I told him it was crazy and we laid down with our sleeping bags and listened. A short while passed and Barry said that his foot was grabbed! We talked some more and then I felt something hit my foot. The mesh pocket of my tent dipped down and brushed my leg then too! The Ci'tonga most likely Juveniles were active around our tents. I was tired but thrilled to be touched by them even though it was an eerie feeling. Barry said he can hear him calling down in the Hollow! He is coming our way! Barry seemed very calm. He told me the white colored male they saw at camp is moving through the valley. He makes a sound like an owl Barry whispered. The owl sound can be heard faintly below us in the timber. Barry knows the Male well he had a long encounter with him before. The Alpha Male is called Echo! I thought this is going to get even more intense. An owl sound can be heard faintly from a distance as we talk. Barry told me to get ready that he may come right up to our tent. I had left my good camera and FLIR in my Jeep because of the rain. All I had was my phone camera. We talked and a short time later a huge Hard wood knock blasted out down below us. Barry said he is here bro! Then a short time later another hard wood knock with immense force crashed again this time to our right of the last one. Another one a short time later and this one was on the other side of us blasted out of the timber. Barry seemed concern and we listened again. Now a fourth crack hard wood knock boomed us form behind. Barry said we need to get up and make a stand! We need everyone up and to go out and stand up to him! He shouted to the ladies to get up and come outside. I called out to Paul too and Barry and I put on our boots and piled out of our tent. It was 5AM… I think he was angry we had put tents near their tree structures at us and also he was giving a solid reprimand to the juveniles to cease what they had done! Echo was not having anymore of it and he laid down the wood in a commanding presence that displayed dominance without question! A twelve foot one thousand plus pound Alpha male has no fear! This is his home so know your place in it.
We stood shining our lights around and Robin and Tammy told me that the Bigfoot had been coming up to our tent, they heard them walking around and throwing rocks at my tent. I was right that they had been targeting me. Barry was worried that the Alpha Male was going to push a tree over on us and wanted us all to make a stand. I decided to name it camp "Hard Knocks" and was in a state of exhaustion and excitement from my experience. We waited a while and decided to try and go back to bed it was only a few hours till day break. Paul had not heard anything as he had fallen right asleep but he noted the vibe too! When Barry and I got back into our sleeping bags we talked a bit. I rolled over to go to sleep Barry said that the tent on my side moved back, it appears that they were still trying to make contact with us. There was a mesh roof with the rain fly only covering it. I believe one may have been pulling on it peeking in at us inches from me. The illusive Sasquatch so close but yet only on their terms. They seem just as curious as we do! We fell asleep around Six AM and the ladies said every time Barry or I would snore they would throw rocks at my tent! They said they heard rock clacking too and chatter. At 7 AM I awoke to the sound of the ladies taking their tent down. I awoke Barry and Paul and we did the same. I took some more pictures of structures around camp "Hard Knocks" and then said my good wishes to everyone. There was a blind structure near the road were we had been. We were being watched the whole time by a sentinel. Connie gifted a necklace that Joyce had made to give them. It was a small token for the stay in their home. I needed to get back on the road home. I took Tammy into Macy to her husband waiting there for her. They were headed to Missouri. This was another surreal experience for me Rez Squatching. The remote camp was a huge success but terrifying all the same. I will post the pictures and recording of the Hard Knocks that we lived to talk about! Praise God and the presence of Barry to have us make a stand! I don’t want to think what could have been! I drove home to Lincoln with much on my mind and thankful for the life I have.

In 2013 I conducted research in Pioneers Park near my home “Operation Proclamation” where I had Rob and Sarah from Montana go with me to place a trial cam on the Haines Branch creek. A tributary riparian forest of Salt creek and Wilderness park S.W of Lincoln Nebraska. This area was celebrating its 50th anniversary of the Chet Ager Nature center. The plan was to create a tourism destination of the Prairie highlighting the eco system from Pioneers park to Conestoga Lake and out to the National Audubon Society Spring creek prairie. In 2013 a howl was heard near the Pinewood bowl at dusk and I suggested that it was a Bigfoot. The Bigfoot was most likely meeting up with Coyotes as they were heard too. The food left from the vendors of the Anniversary ceremony would be easy pickings as the park is closed at dark. I had seen structures related to Bigfoot activity and know for certain they exist in this area. On the 7th of November I led a small group of the Nebraska Bigfoot conference on a tour of my recent findings of Bigfoot structure’s in around the park area.
I found scat in the fall with plums and the appearance of opossum hair and teeth. I had seen this same type of scat before with plums on the Omaha Rez and identified it as Bigfoot scat. Other notable occurrences were an occasional huff coming from the tree line by the Haines branch creek. Deer will do this but I have learned that Bigfoot will also huff when you are in their area. I have seen a buck do this to me in Niobrara state park. I took Harriet, Tammy and Cassie (The Bigfoot ladies) to a location that I had identified a structure of two branches supporting each other with stick supports present. We photographed this and moved along the creek to the nature center area. When inside the Nature center other structures became more apparent. I had identified a large Arch that I had seen from outside the fence and wanted to take them for a closer look. As we walked along a trail there were some interesting logs with no bark up against the steel fence and area and near a corner fence line there was a wood pole that had come from a marker on the trail that was broke off. (Tammy found where it had come from.) I pointed these out to the ladies and explained that Bigfoot will put tree branches or logs on a fence line to clear the fence without contacting it so they will not leave hair behind. They can step on the log and hop over the fence or place a hand on the log and step over the fence without leaving a footprint or hair behind.
The Tree arch was held down by a fallen tree and appeared to be a five years old with growth of limbs rising from its arched trunk. Near the arch was a limb structure that had branches supporting them in a fan like position? There were other old arches in the area and additional structures. I noted that I had seen this same type of structure along the fence line of the park along Van Dorn Street. We went to that location when leaving the park and photographed that one also. It was much larger and was pushed deeply into the ground to support the large tree branches together. This seemed to mark their territory and was very similar to the one inside the park by the large tree arch. I had recently heard Khat Hansen discuss on World Bigfoot radio about the significance of a Bigfoot using its bottom (Ostman pad) of its foot as a sensory source to identify movement. It is also thought they use this pad with Ley lines in the Earth’s Magnetic field. Khat said Arches point to these Ley lands. Lincoln Nebraska is on a Ley line! This seems to fit with the Bio Electric Static Bigfoot theory I have. See a map of Ley lines in the Bigfoot Bio Electric page on this site.

The Nebraska Bigfoot Conference Hastings
February 16th and 17th 2018 Hastings City Auditorium
The Bigfoot conference came at a time that was a culmination of the seven years I had conducted research. I had just made a connection between Zana the Russian Alma and a Ghost gene from Sub-Saharan Africa. I just completed an article on “Zana and the Black plague” January 30th 2018, The Nox Gigas Study website.
When I arrived Friday morning I met Harriet and the other conference organizers. They had a table for me to set up my display of posters from expeditions, my book “Forest Signs of Sasquatch” The Nox Gigas and a picture of a Bigfoot print from the Omaha Rez June 2017. I had to move around my display and change places with Danial Perez of the Bigfoot times. We exchanged information and he was intrigued by my theory of the MUC7E gene. He was first dismissive, believing it was old news but listened to my information and gradually saw the merits to it.
Tammy, Cassie and Harriet gave their presentations which gave a solid ground for Nebraska Bigfoot research here in state. Tammy discussed tree structures and linking them to Alchemical symbols which I found fascinating. I have a tattoo of Seven Chemical Syllables of an Alchemical mystery for the first element of the universe. Cassie discussed the abundance of food sources throughout Nebraska for Bigfoot. Harriet included research I had conducted in Lincoln and her theory of Salt attracting Bigfoot.
After lunch Michael did a fireside story telling which I really enjoyed. The Stage was decorated like Bluff creek and the conference members had really done an excellent job decorating with a fire and an X with a large Patty! Michael had made some excellent points regarding the use of mining caves in Colorado and sightings connecting. The Colorado BFRO with Ellen and Brandon were there and they had made some real good connections with Michael and SIR (Sasquatch Investigations of the Rockies). Michael told me they will do a joint expedition. I felt like that was huge for Colorado!
I gave my presentation at 2 pm and thoroughly enjoyed giving the back ground information to my research. It was exciting for me to share the MUC7E connection I had made with Zana. I believe this is the DNA signature that will shape the future research of these Hominin. Daniel told me the next day as we were waiting to get our pictures taken that “most people did not understand what I had presented but that was OK he whispered people didn’t understand Einstein either” as he smiled. Daniel got the significance of this MUC7E gene and he gave me the e-mail to Dr. Sykes to share with him. I was grateful to meet Daniel and again felt the benefit of some destiny for my research. Cliff gave his presentation on gathering evidence and I felt I had just given the Bigfoot community the best source for research since the Patterson Gimlin Film. It was a fifty year passing of time that has brought DNA to the forefront of research. The MUC7E is an example of how research had changed from digging traditionally in the earth to mining the genome. This has been the debut of a huge jump for science that people will only grasp in the distant future.
Saturday I met Bob Gimlin and caught up with Russel Accord who I had met in Montana 2015. It was funny to meet Bob because he is such an Icon but Harriet introduced me and told him I am the man in Nebraska for Bigfoot research, he shook my hand and smiled. He then asked me to take a picture of him and Harriet. He pulled a little wind up disposable camera out of this pocket. He said that lil red head is something special! I smiled and took a few pictures of them together. Harriet took some pictures of Bob and I and Russell. It was good to see him before the crowd came in. Daniel gave me an article about Bob and his truck that had a picture. He told me to have Bob autograph it. I did and he said that he had seen that 1965 around Yakima once he sold it and he regretted doing it. He told me about the cover he had on it and how it held his horses. I was thrilled to hear these details from him. Robin presented her research and Craig gave his accounts of Cryptomundo.
We then heard from Daniel and he had a replica of the movie camera used by Patterson. It had a trigger handle that allowed for quick filming and was significant in the speed that it had been used. These cowboys were in their prime. Bob talked about the famous footage as we watched it on the big screen. I was in awe of hearing him speak about how he crossed the creek and had his gun with him to cover Roger. This happened very quickly, they had been on horseback and it was the 25th day they had been out looking. They rode some 20 miles a day. I truly believe this was the key to their success. They could literally assimilate in the nature there as they would have lost most of their own scent. While on horseback they surprised Patty. A huge day for Nebraska Bigfoot and for myself personally!

February 18th 2018 Bigfoot Sighting
I was contacted by Scott Colborn of the KZUM Radio Show Exploring Unexplained Phenomena . He had received a report on his Facebook page from an Angie N regarding a experience her husband had this is her account: Scott, my husband thought he saw a Bigfoot right outside Lincoln last weekend, he came home and still had goosebumps. He said he was traveling on 70th, heading towards Waverly Rd, it was snowing and a little slick when some deer crossed the road in front of him. He hit his brakes and slid a little towards the ditch facing east, he watched the deer run east and all of the sudden they turned south(on a dime). Then saw something very big and dark pop out of the trees and in a matter of 4 steps and like it was floating, was across to the other set of trees and after those deer. He's still in shock about what he saw. I'm surprised about the location he saw it in...do you know of any other sightings in this area?
I believe this is a credible report for several reasons. The description of the ambush deer hunting is a classic Bigfoot. I believe there was more than one involved as the deer seemed to be chased into the direction of the one observed. The floating movement of the Bigfoot is a common experience people describe. They move fluently with a step that is up and down in a straight line with one foot always on the ground stepping on their front pad and pushing forward as the heal lands. The metatarsal break allows flexibility of the foot and gives them better balance on various terrain especially uphill. Homosapiens step heal to toe and lack the metatarsal break (Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum). The location along the road is also a common sighting by motorists who seem caught of guard. The snow would have also limited his sight but allowed for enough information to make this a class A sighting.
This area is largely rural but is a good example of peripheral urban settings that have Bigfoot activity. Farm land with acreages and timbered areas boarding these properties. Salt creek is a few miles to the south and the City dump is a few miles south and west from this location also. There had been sightings near 84th and Superior street of two Juvenile (APES) 2010. I contacted Angie and will follow up in the future to take pictures of the location. Her Husband didnt think he had much to add to his account but I would like to speak with him also.
