It was 40 degrees when we departed Rawlins, Wyoming, and threatening rain. To say the least it was a very brisk ride to Denver (225 miles) but the rain did not materialize. In Denver we had lunch with Ed's cousin Mike Williams. Mike had provided Ed a restaurant (Red Robin) to meet us at and we enjoyed some good food and a super visit with Mike. After lunch we continued our trek homeward. We came down I-25 from Cheyenne to Denver and now are headed east on I-70. We stopped overnight in Wakeeney, Kansas, after 535 miles for the day. (As mentioned previously, we will try an post some pictures when we get to a computer.)
