Personality: Hana loves all animals, especially cats.  She wants to visit new places and she hates people who think they're better than others simply because they're stronger, smarter, richer or better looking than others.

Background: Ino had a civilian boyfriend, but when he found out she was pregnant with his child he left her.  When Ino gave birth to her daughter, she gave the girl her surname to sever all ties to the father, deciding he would have no part in Hana's life because he'd walked out before it had even begun.  Hana was given a choice in what she would do with her life, but she took a long time to decide on becoming a kunoichi like her mother.  When Hana reached this decision, Ino gave her a crash course on shinobi basics before Hana transferred from a civilian academy to the Ninja Academy, a few years behind the others.
