Tues. 9/5/2022 4:15 PM Niskayuna 1 - 1 Colonie

GAME COMMENTS: Both teams came out fighting hard in the heat. Nisky took advantage early with some early chances. Raghav Raj opening the scoring halfway through the first half with a shot from the top of the box. The second half was a back and forth contest with both groups creating several close chances. Cam Curet tied the game up midway through the second on an assist from Jasaih Goddard. Colonie goal keeper Liam Plowman and Nisky goalie Eric Thurn made serval great saves throughout the game to keep their teams in it. Both ended with 7 saves.

Tues. 9/12/2022 4:15 PM Burnt Hills 1 - 3 Niskayuna

GAME COMMENTS: Nisky kicked off their first home game of the year on the new turf and they didn't disappoint the fans. Opening the scoring for Nisky was Andres Hague with his first varsity goal on a brace from 25 yards out. Burnt Hills mounted several dangerous chances just before the half. Nisky went into the half with a 1-0 lead. After the half Nisky came out charging, maintaining possession and building a good run of play. Eight minutes into the second half Mason Stanco hit the crossbar and headed in the follow up for his first goal of his varsity career. Nisky back line and keeper Eric Thurn halted all the dangerous attacks from BHBL. Addicus Marvin was a workhorse in the middle for BHBL and played a fantastic game. Nisky won the game, 3-1.

Thurs. 9/13/2022 4:15 PM Ballston Spa 0 - 4 Niskayuna

GAME COMMENTS: Nisky and Bspa played on this beautiful day without any rain. Scoring first time varsity goals were Gerrit Dutcher, Quadir Salahli and Bradyn Lewis, and Anders Hague continued to find the back of net scoring in back to back games. The Nisky back line once again proved to be difficult to beat with very few chances reaching Eric Thurn. The midfield played great with several key contributions especially Patrick Terry and Mason Stanco. Eric Thurn recorded 5 saves on the day. Ballston Spa played a solid game and fought to the end. Declan Bain played an outstanding game for the Scotties.
