Sat. 10/3/2020 11:00 AM Troy 0-8 Niskayuna

Game Comments: Today Nisky kicked off the 2020 season with a resounding 8-0 victory. Scoring for the Silver Warriors were Mike Puccioni and Matt Stiles with two each. Rounding out the scoring were Braeden Richard's, Andrew Stiles, Tim McCory, and Vincent Savona. Jessie Torres,Ian Klenk, Jacob Nuqui all added assists. Papi Ndiaye had 3 saves for the Warriors. Troy's keeper, sophomore Phillip Ryan, made some impressive saves today, recording 11 saves.

Tues. 10/6/2020 4:15 PM Niskayuna 4-0 Guilderland

Game Comments: The Warriors took the road today and came out victorius, beating Guilderland 4-0. Scoring for Nisky were Jordan Angrist with a pair, Matt Stiles and Zack Lind. Assisting on goals today were Mike Puccioni and Andrew Stiles. Papa Ndiaye had 3 saves on the day. Another strong effort by the Nisky back line of Ian Klenk and Toby Goldner, Jacob Nuqui, and Eric Romero played a big role in the win. Cameron Frye had 6 saves for Guilderland.

Sat. 10/10/2020 11:00 AM Averill Park 0-4 Niskayuna

Game Comments: Today the battle of the Warriors took place, and Nisky came out victorious. Scoring for Nisky were Zack Lind, Mike Puccioni, Andrew Stiles and Evan Boyle. Assisting on the Lind goal was a beautiful cross from Jacob Nuqui. Papa Ndiayr had 2 saves. Nisky's backline again performed well with its third clean sheet of the season.

Sat. 10/17/2020 2:00 PM Shaker 0-2 Niskayuna

Game Comments: Today Nisky beat Shaker, 2-0, in a very spirited match. Scoring for Nisky was Mike Puccioni with two goals. Andrew Stiles chipped in with an assist. The Silver Warriors' back line continued to play well and keep opponents off the board.

Thurs. 10/22/2020 4:15 PM CBA 1-0 Niskayuna

Game Comments: Niskayuna suffered their first defeat of the 2020 fall season in a crucial showdown between Suburban powerhouses. In the 34th minute Paul Abatiello (assisted by Jason Lambert) had the only score of the match to make CBA a winner.

Sat. 10/24/2020 11:00 AM Niskayuna 5-0 Colonie

Game Comments: Nisky beat Colonie, 5-0. Scoring for Nisky were Mike Puccioni, Matt Stiles with 2, Jordan Angrist, and Evan Boyle. Jack Toy had his first varsity shutout of his career. Nisky's back line continued their fine play, today recording their 5th shutouts so far this season. Tyler Swack played a great game for Colonie, coming up with some big saves.

Tues. 10/27/2020 6:15 PM Burnt Hills 1-2 Niskayuna

Game Comments: On a dreary day the Silver Warriors had to come from behind to secure the victory,2-1, over a tough Burnt Hills side. The Spartans scored first - a through ball from Park Scott to Stephen Zarub. Jordan Angrist served a beautiful ball that Mike Puccioni was able to get on the end of to level the score at 1. The game was back and forth until Nicholas Lomonoco struck on another Angrist service. Nisky was tested by BHBL, but was able to battle for the victory.

Sat. 10/31/2020 11:00 AM Niskayuna 1-1 Saratoga

Game Comments: In just the fourth minute of play Evan Hallett's thru ball put Lucas Varghese 1 v 1 with the keeper and Varshese broke Saratoga on top, 1-0. Saratoga maintained that lead until the 62nd minute when a corner kick broke their shutout. Zach Lind scored from close range from an assist by Andrew Stiles. For the match, Saratoga took 11 shots to Nisky's 5 and on frame, Saratoga held the edge 5-1. Corner kicks were in Nisky's favor all game and it paid off for them with the game's only goal by the Silver Warriors. Corners were 10-1, Nisky.

Tue 11/3/2020 6:15 PM Niskayuna 1-1 Columbia

Game Comments: Columbia scored off a corner when a loose ball ended up in the net off the foot of Aaron Matthews. Nisky tied the score when Mike Puccioni hit a rocket from distance that came off the crossbar and back into the net.

Sat. 11/7/2020 11:00 AM Schenectady 2-8 Niskayuna

Game Comments: Today the Silver Warriors beat the Patriots of Schenectady, 8-2. Scoring for the Silver Warriors were Zach Lind with a hat trick, Mike Puccioni with 2 goals, Evan Boyle, Tim McCory and Luke Mendrysa. Jordan Angrist assisted on 3 and Zach Lind assisted on one. Schenectady goals were scored by Charlie Barnett and Iddrisu Harua.

Wed. 11/11/2020 12:00 PM Niskayuna 1-1 Shenendehowa

Game Comments: Nisky executed a game plan that proved to be effective and both teams battled late into the second half scoreless. There was 8 minutes left in the match when Shen scored to go up, 1-0. Darien Espinal found the nets, assisted by Sahil Arora. Nisky was awakened at that point and applied pressure and sure enough it paid off with Mike Puccioni getting the equalizer. Nisky's Papa Ndiaye had a tremendous game for the Silver Warriors. For the Plainsmen, Ben Tymeson and Mark Makhtadze both had solid outings in the midfield and Owen Brignati was a defensive key. Ultimately, the two sides had to settle for a draw, 1-1.

Sat. 11/14/2020 11:00 AM Albany 0-3 Niskayuna

Game Comments: Today the Silver Warriors capped off the regular season with a 3-0 victory over Albany. Scoring for Nisky were Zach Lind, Mike Puccioni and Jordan Angrist. Papa Ndiaye had the shutout in the Silver Warrior nets, finishing with five saves. Albany had times of pressuring the goal, finishing with a 5-1 advantage in corners, but their finishing touch was not to be today. Nisky finishes the season with a 8-1-3 record and moves into the playoffs next week.
