Game Reports

Structure of Game Reports for submission to Newspapers:

Write up game results to submit to the papers. Writeups consist of a paragraph on goals scored (who, how & when) and sentence on goalie saves.

example from 9/8 Tuesday's games (from the Gazette):

Talib Kahn scored off a cross by Phil Weeber to give Niskayuna a 1-0 victory over Saratoga Springs in overtime. Ahmad Salamah made five saves for the Silver Warriors.

Shaker /Shen writeup was a bit more fancy with times listed on their goals scored:

Tim Preston and Austin Britt scroed goals as Shaker defeated Shenendehowa , 2-1 in overtime. Brendan Dempsey scored in the 28th minute on a breakaway for the Plainsmen, then Preston tied it in the second half on a penalty kick. Britt scored in the second overtime..

if you're willing to do this, you would work with the team managers to get the details on who scored .
