Taipei City was vibrant, albeit more chaotic in terms of the traffic. The people were friendly and helpful. Youths were generally trendy and fair. Pardon me for not taking any pictures of those pretty girls that you guys wanted to see ;p There were plenty of them but you don't expect me to use my camera like a pervert or something right?
I didn't have much time to write down my itinerary and observations. Now it is almost impossible for me to recall most of the things I saw. The feeling I got at every attraction or scenic spot was indescribable now. However, my blog does contain some records (with videos) I jotted down whenever I could.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The hotel we stayed in lacked handicapped facilities but that was expected as it was a rather old hotel. Fortunately it did have elevators and a bathroom big enough for my wheelchair to go straight in but without able to close the door.
As there were four of us, we went everywhere either by walking or taxi. We did not take any buses or subways, hence I could not comment on the accessibility of them. Taxi was inexpensive so it would not be a bad option to just take one.
They were mostly brick-tiled so my bum was sore from all the bumpiness. My wheelchair was even damaged by the end of the trip.
