Genting Highlands

I was enjoying the cool weather and playing some roulette from 4 to 6 Nov 2010 at Genting Highlands Resort. It's situated in the Genting Highlands at the borders of Selangor and Pahang states.

The resort has changed a lot since I had been there years ago. The theme park has expanded, two more hotels are opened and there is another casino. Though the main draw is still gambling, there are more things for the whole family now.

Wheelchair Accessibility

The hotel rooms are still not handicapped-friendly. Be prepared to improvise on how to make use of the shower and find enough space to transfer from wheelchair to toilet.

• Transport

There are only tour buses and private cabs for hire to reach the resort. I think there is also a cable car service but I haven't tried it yet. Alternatively, you can drive up on your own which is a better choice.
