The S.E.A. Aquarium, along with the Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Dolphin Island, and Trick Eye Museum, are attractions of Resorts World Sentosa Singapore, which include hotels and a casino under the Genting Group. It is "home to more than 100,000 marine animals of over 800 species, across into 49 different habitats, each one as fascinating as the next". The habitats are divided into various areas showcasing life in Strait of Karimata & Java Sea, Strait of Malacca & Andaman Sea, Bay of Bengal & Laccadive Sea, Ocean Journey, Open Ocean, Persian Gulf & Arabian Sea, Red Sea, East Africa, and South China Sea. There are also enclosures for numerous sharks; Shark Seas are really impressive.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The aquarium is friendly to wheelchairs though there are a couple of slopes that are slightly steeper than usual. There are sanitary amenities for the handicapped but not many and not very visible to locate, so you may want to ask the staff about their locations prior to entering the aquarium if you frequently need to go to the toilet.
How To Get There
As Sentosa is an island, it is connected by a small causeway for vehicles and a light rail system for those preferring a low carbon transportation. Both the entrance to the causeway and the starting station of the light rail are located near the HarbourFront MRT station.
If you are not afraid of heights, there is also the option of taking the cable car from Mount Faber to Sentosa or from HarbourFront itself. Refer to https://www.faberpeaksingapore.com/ for more information.
