After racing 30 + races at fsbracing I was removed from the league,

While leading two series after 10 weeks and enduring possibly the the most stressful

race experience I have had since I started racing in online in 2000.

First thing is I hate racing with people who race with aids on. ... then act like there pro's or superior racers. I was wrecked 3 times in 3 straight races and twice from behind. Once on 1st lap while I was the pole sitter.

There leader/ league owner Jim Ray, blabbers on and on about rules and sportsmanship yet does not enforce the rules. So I called him on it. He booted me from the league. So boot possibly the cleanest racer in the entire league and guy that was leading 2 separate points series.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LEAGUE.

BEWARE.

At the end of the 10th week I raced in 3 series, I had the least incidents, most top 10's, most top 5's, most 2nd place finishes, least dnf's, most laps completed. Also raced more patiently then anyone in the league.

I could count my mistakes on one hand, my biggest mistake was giving them even one penny.

FSB RACING HAS a lot of racing to offer, just to give a idea after 5 weeks I have raced 2037 official race laps not including qualify, happy hour and practice sessions, that is a lot of racing. Comparable to Iracing in quality except you have admin present at each race that make sure or try there best to make sure the races are honest clean and fair. So far I feel they have been very fair with everything I have seen. There is no better stock car game then nascar 2003.

Only 3 things I wish were different at fsb racing,

1- wish all the races were in hardcore mode (server turns off all driving assists and locks driver in cockpit view.) and aids off like iracing or atleast the PRO series to be run with all aids off. For me a pro series is not pro if aids are on. People can say they have the aids off all they want but there not off until server locks them. If the pro series was run in hardcore it would really give me something to strive for even if I was to run competing for last place. For me your not a pro if your racing with aids on, I know some may not like that comment.. but tough I have more respect for someone racing for last place with all the aids off then someone winning race after race with the aids on.

People that use aids have 2 advantages, they run like AI cars they can bump others and get bumped and never miss a beat.

Or bump a guy with aids of and guy with aids off will lose that battle every time and possibly get severe damage.

Another issue is aids users can run the crap out of there car and do very well in sprint or short races, the shorter green runs or races the better. Most people that run with aids of take 3 to 5 laps to warm tires to get grip but traction control allows for immediate grip on cold tires.

2- race length I really wish races were 40% or even 50% for more of a real nascar experience.

3- tracks, I just don't like some of the add on tracks.

The admins do a solid job and spend a lot of personal time trying to make the league the best it can be.

The main two race series I focus on for the next 20 weeks are Rookie Cup and Truck.

I also race in the GNS, gtp and friday night busch series, those series I may miss some events and do not spend as much time on practicing.

Below I will recap with pictures, videos and some text.

My goals prior to season start was just to finish races and not wreck anyone. Since they have changed to try to get top 5 finishes.

more so proud of .. in this series no one has wrecked me and I have not wrecked anyone else.

After 5 cup races (2-10-2013) -

I am surprised by being in points lead even with 2 poor showings...

4th, 5th, 10th, 7th, 2nd

2 really poor finishes -

P10 @ Dover, I rear-ended the #11 car and caused a caution and only caution I have caused in both truck and cup after 11 races. Then proceeded to lose 4th gear I limped around in 3rd gear and finished the race. Big sorry to the #11!

P7 @ Atlanta Man this was a frustrating race, I got pile drived while in 1st place with 40 laps to go. Worst part is it happened while giving a lapper his lap back. It hurt my car but was able to restart in P1 with everyone lapped but 4 cars, then once again got pile drived into the wall by a car that looked like it was pitting. If I am in contention at the end of season this will be the race that really hurt. Had serious chance for a win here. :(

Truck Race: 2013 Race 1 Season 1 01/10/13

Wow! My 1st pole position. In my second race back after not racing for almost a year. Wow, bragger! Sorry folks I know it sounds like bragging and I't really is not, more like shocked.

I did not think I would get the pole nor close to it, I did practice several hours with the set up against computer opponents to get used to the feel and to dial in my wheel settings. The end of this race was very exciting.

Cup Race: So my 1st race occurred 1-7-2013

I qualified 13th which is horrible. My concentration level is bad on beginning of races and I need to work on that.

Funny I do the same at beginning of conversations so at least I realize this is a personal trait I need to work on lol.

As you see below despite my horrid qual time I finished 2nd. Mostly because of luck and strategy. Sometimes the two go hand in hand. Really flawless pitting helped me plus as race went on I made some smart decisions on tires taking only 2 tires per pit stop which cut down on my pit time.

I could have easily have finished fourth instead of 2nd If I was 2 seconds later on my pit exit at the end of the race.

Not once did I think about passing the car in first place despite driving all over his bumper, I knew if I tried to pass him the 3rd and 4th place cars would catch us.

1-2-2013

So after huge time off racing I decided to start racing again last spring 2012 , it only lasted a month or so then I lost interest.

I decided I wanted to try it again in 2013 and start off somewhere for a fresh season right from race 1 of a season. I looked around a bit then decided on same place I raced last year. I feel while it is a bit pricey I't is a decent place to get started.

So my main goal is to run Monday night rookie cup series and Thursday night trucks.

Not sure what to expect to be honest, mostly just want to finish races and get top 5's, and not wreck anyone.

Using n2003/ tsw wheel with g25 pedals. As season goes on Ill paint myself a car.
