Imva racing and ISRA league

In 2010 I started a small group to race together in IRacing's star mazda. It was called International Motorsport Virtual Association or IMVA.

Basically started it from scratch without knowing one person there. I closed the series because of differences with Iracing.

We completed one full season and it was a pretty successful series. With decent turn out. Even some of the real star mazda racers applied like Sage Karem (now a indycar racer), and Ryan Truex was a little 14 year old kid asking to race, and now he is racing in nascar, amazing.

When I was building the idea and the series I had a full page with all my rules and ideas laid out in the IR forum. then one day I noticed a Indy league run by Mike Peters ( 1st class wanker, self promoting xxxx whos claim to fame is painting and making a rfactor indy mod) basically copied and pasted all my rules and league ideas for his league.

When I called him on it he acted like the dbag that he is and tried to deny it, this is the same guy who has repeatedly bitched out sim car painters on various forums for copying his work. What ? He has the nerve to do the same shit he bitches at others for. WTF. ( http://petersmotorsports.com/ )

Okay back to my story, I happen to be surfing the web and stumble onto a web site http://isra.ileaguerace.com/leagues/show/ISRA the other day and was like WOW, that name sounds familiar!

Why? because ya it is familiar and two of the guys that were in my series named IMVA went and started ISRA, lol wow so no creativity what so ever.. no problem but then I look around on the site and see this...

The International Sim Racing Association is the governing and organizing body for multiple online motor racing series. Founded in early 2010 by Alexandre Ulleri and PJ Losey the ISRA has quickly become one of the premiere hosts for online racing. The ISRA is dedicated in creating a realistic and fair environment for it's 600+ members. Anyone who has an account with iRacing.com is welcome to join this growing community of online racers.

The ISRA run multiple series ranging from multi-class road racing to NASCAR style oval racing. Soon the ISRA will be hosting endurance racing with the World Endurance Championship.

The ISRA team has grown to also include an in house media team dedicated to producing high quality videos and articles. This team is led by Chuck Chambliss and Colin MacLean.

The ISRA would like to thank the hard working folks at iRacing.com for providing us with an exceptional sim racing product.

IMVA TO ISRA ... and your original core came from my work, yet i'm never even mentioned.

LOL interesting.

You have to understand the irony of this, this guy Alex, was a huge pain in the ass, every rule and

everything I did he questioned. Then he goes and starts a league with almost the same name. And..

''The International Sim Racing Association is the governing and organizing body for multiple online motor racing series."

.

This line completely plagiarized from my league /series write up. I guarantee he does not know how I came up with it.

So after scrutinizing my series ideas, web site, rules, he copies my thoughts? Really takes a lot of gaul. Never once does he or his buddy PJ Losey contact me after I left Ir. Only heard from Mike Sherwin, who thanked me for the time and effort and urged me to return. Mike was a great person, so was Gary Borkenhagen, and few of the other people.

They never once mention anything about how they got there idea or my series name or how they got there core members off my work or time investment. Yes like 10 of the original people that went to the league were people I put together, no where is that mentioned anywhere. Any league or organization the hardest part is to sell the 1st bunch of people on the idea.

So from what I gather there league has run it's course...

There are lot of little things going on in the background at the moment. I will be taking back over the reins of the ISRA for now. I have had a few that already want to step up to the plate and I appreciate the interest.

The ISRA Needs a revamp and a new direction. It has been good but its def not the original ISRA that was founded by myself and Alex Ulleri.

Very true PJ, because the league was not originally formed by you... because formed by me.

Hence why it started in winter/spring 2010 when I left IR.

https://sites.google.com/site/imvanews/match-stats I got rid of the original web site but made a dummy site just to hold the info and stats for kicks back in 2010. I remember the guy that won the series he was a super nice kid names Dwight Plesh, he won the series because he was the cleanest driver. Yet I remember Chuck Chambliss (i thought chuck was a decent guy and helpful /once he realized what the series was about he humbled up and congratulated dwight ) acting butt hurt because he was the fastest there and how dare a slow guy win the championship. OMG it was so worth it, it will be most likely the only championship Dwight will ever win in online racing but it was priceless to me. None of them saw it coming but I knew the entire time Dwight was going to win it because he never wrecked, just super clean racer. Each race you would get a bonus for clean racing which he got almost every single race.

From the very 1st day I started forming the series it was for people like Dwight, the Iracing under dog, the type of guy that races everyone clean yet has guys running of the track then expecting him to get out of the way. Perfectly set up series to pound those type of fast guys into learning being fast and running of and on the track is not realistic in any shape or form. 1X / 2X /3X penalties in Iracing core series is a farce, and I wanted my series to prove that. Those penalties do Not REFLECT damage of a undercarriage on soft grass, or water logged grass around a track.

Personally I hate that someone can run of track 5 times ina race and still win the race or place in top 3, that is not realistic in any shape or form.

Few of the faster guys belly ached about the rules the same rules they read when they signed up. Nothing worse then adult men acting like 13 year old kids when playing games. Poor sportsmanship is something very normal in todays gaming and every day life for that matter.

With further digging I see this on there facebook... more bullshit lying,

ISRA (International Sim Racing Association) was founded in November 2010 by PJ Losey and Alex Ulleri. We are an iRacing based league featuring top tier virtual racing in the road and oval side.

No because that is when I started my league which they were both in, so basically trying to say they started my league, 2 pieces of work these guys are.

Followed by this ... more lies, posted on there facebook... https://www.facebook.com/israleague/timeline?ref=page_internal

''Well everyone its been a fun 5 years. Were now at the point where the racing here at the ISRA. Atleast for now. We do still have a lot of racing we want to try out and will in the future. Well keep you up to date as changes happen. Thank you everyone.''

Well if you said you started in November of 2010... which they didn't how is 2010 nov to nov 2014 5 years?

These guys just really love to make them self sound big.... I wonder how much money they charged members to race there.

S0 I kept digging ....

John Hensley I understand that you dont want to give up what you built but good luck finding admin help when the site wont work, you show no interest in the site/forums and you can never be found (in one form or another in the background). Alot of drivers have given time(and entry money) to build up the league and it is a complete joke at the moment. I feel I can say that cause I'm actually on the website, promoting the league and running a series on a weekly basis.

this just keeps getting better. or worse...

Well poor John, this is all after the following pictures were posted by Losey of his new sim rig.

Maybe this is where the funds of the league went and the disappearing act, 1st Alex then JP?

If it was on the forums i do apologize but i have not been active on that for a while, have a 15k rig and have not turned it on in 6 months as well.

With that said I will never give up full reins of the ISRA it was founded by myself and Alex back in 2009 and will always remain in my hands.

More bs, no it was not.. as I explained above how his league was started.

Worst part is they did nothing to explain anything to the members from what Ive read.

Ended just as much in poor taste and bad manners as it started. Shame on them.

Poor taste as well which is copying others ideas instead of creating your own. Amazing. What is more amazing is I knew nothing about it and found it by accident 4 years later.

(more to come)
