1975-1982 sold on black bubble cards, 1983-1988 on white ones
5500 and 5800 were offered in the dealer catalogs in a cardboard counter display containing 48 and 24 cards, 5501 and 5801 were assortment sets of 12 cards, without a counter display

At the introduction in 1975, Stablemates were sold on black blister cards, still without any copyright info. The black cards were replaced by white ones around 1979/1980
The backside of the dark Draft Horse's newer ©1979 black card looks quite similar to the ones of the white cards, which still carry the ©1979 mark, although there are a few dated ©1985 as well
