I have found these typically teary glossed eyes (like found in the Sears 1989 set) on Stablemates dating from 1988-1991, so this should be one from about that period too.

This specimen comes from a white card numbered 5600, indicating it's from 1989, which was the first year of the 5600/1989-1994 series, but also the last year of the white card, before Breyer switched to yellow ones.
