Updates

April 2024

Uploaded some new pictures on the cards page.

August 2023 - March 2024

There have only been some small non-descript updates during this period, the added tekst shown in the screenshot below from the #5600 page being the only one worth mentioning. Hopefully I'll be more active here again soon.

September 2023

This month, I've added a Breyer Clubs page for the JAH, Collectors and Vintage Club models I'm working on right now, and removed them from the BreyerFest page. And I'm not sure yet, whether to keep or delete the keychains page, after moving most of them to the BreyerFest page, where they belong. Maybe it's a good thing to keep it as an overview of all the keychains, or else, the remaining three non-BreyerFest ones could be moved to the misc page.

I've smoothed out the main Morgan Stallion page, picture-, model- and chronology wise, like I did with the Seabiscuit page. Hoping to do that with all G1 pages in the future, meaning I have to dig them all up physically and start comparing, so that will take some time.

I'm also still adding/switching pictures randomly. As I browse my 'still to organize' boxes, taking pictures, it can be quite the surprise what I find in there, and when I find the new pictures of a double nicer, or when I'm more certain about its origin, I replace the other ones here. And so I did with my JAH 1998 box, so those pictures are all brand new, with pictures of the box added too :-)

Anchor links (links to a certain position of a page) remain a pain. It looks like it has to do with the loading of the pictures on the page, refreshing it does help most of the time though.

And then there's this:

When looking closer at my yellow #5600 cards, I noticed that the rare ©1989 cards (all old plastic) said 'made in USA', while the more common ©1990 cards (mostly new plastic, only early ones old plastic) said 'made in China'. Somehow I assumed that, since the new plastic was introduced in 1992, the move of the production to China was the cause, but apparently they already moved in 1990. It wouldn't be exceptional though, if Breyer wasn't accurate with dates on their packaging, but none the less, wanting to stick to the official info, I adjusted the text accordingly here and there, and hope I got it all fixed now.

In the nick of time, closing my monthly updates, I also started on my Companion Animal page, preparing them all a 'stable' on the page. Bare with me though, most of the pictures still have to be taken, and most of them are still new in package, which makes it more tricky, since I don't want to ruin those packages.

Recently arrived in my herd: new from a white card, so definitely from 1989, but certainly no Sears, and as of now my main representative of the #5600/5150 mold2.

August 2023

This month I've been quite busy, tinkering with the Replacements and Doubles and Morgan Stallion Molds pages, both remaining a work in progress, and the Specials page was replaced by the BreyerFest page, adding some more of the 2009 Commemoritive models too.

I took a load of new pictures for my own private documenting website, meaning I also started adding quite a few here, randomly, both inserting missing models and replacing the 'Picture should be coming soon' pictures (and introducing new ones of those for still to add models LOL), but also replacing pictures/models that I now have better alternatives for.

Finally, the Seabiscuit page had some refining done, replacing some pictures/models as well, so now I'm finally all up to date with my #5024/3085 chronological line here, which is very pleasing for me personally.

Replacements & Doubles page keeps on growing...

July 2023

Since I found my lost lamp, I started back up photographing again, yeah!

There are still loads of picture to take, it's progressing slowly, but it is moving. So finally I added the missing dapple mold 2 Arabian Mare pictures, replaced the light chestnut #5150 Morgan Stallion pictures, and also added extra colour variations of several G1's.

I've also corrected some dates I had put up wrongly. If you notice any fact flaws or typos, please don't hesitate to sent me a message.

June 2023

I added pictures of my new #5150 Morgan Stallion on white card (also on the cards page), and of the #3085 cardboard Stable Set with Seabiscuit.

I've also been adding anchor links, which should lead straight to the related tekst part on the linked page, but allas, these links don't always work flawlessly. When thrown to the wrong spot of the page, refreshing that page usually does the trick for me.

January-May 2023

Just finished restoring about 2000 picture links before they got deleted, so activity not being visible, doesn't neccesarily mean the website isn't maintained anymore ;-)

Also I did some more finetuning in text and lay out

2021-2022

Have been remodeling the website after Google's conversion to the new format.

All pages had lost their lay-out entirely and were horribly messed up, and my treasured html templates turned out completely useless.

Restoring all pages one by one took me some time, but I did it, yeah!

Phew, that was quite something...

November 2021

Finally switched over from Google classics to the new format.
