Although the QHS is not one of the twin molds, it still has a lively belly stamp history, having had 3 different copyright stamps, but starting his Breyer career without one, which can be seen on this early chestnut #5046
Looking at the three stamps on all my QHS models, the 1st stamp (©1976) seems to have lasted up to 1994. The 2nd, larger lettered stamp (also ©1976, and already heavily damaged in the first or second year), from 1994 up to 1997 or 1998, when it got replaced by a 3rd, more orignal-looking ©1975 stamp.

'Quarter Horse Stallion Chestnut'
no belly stamp yet, very early release
chestnut
As can be seen on this very early chestnut, the Quarter Horse Stallion started out without a belly stamp, but got his stamp very quickly after the first release.
_______________
Even though the chestnut was only produced for one year, like this one, most of them do carry a stamp.
However, this stamp got replaced in 1994 by one with a bigger font, but only one year later it was already severely damaged, making it almost look like there was no stamp at all, as can be seen at the JCP 1994-1997's down this page. Looking further down the page shows that the 2nd stamp must have got replaced around 1997/1998, but they mistakenly stamped him ©1975, while he originally was stamped ©1976.

This one is certain to come from the Sears 1992 set, since I took him out of the box personally.
_______________
This confirmed JCP 1994 is the youngest one in my collection with the original first stamp.
_______________
This one is also sure to be a JCP 1994, beside glossy eyes it also has a China sticker, but it already has the bigger font stamp, showing exactly in what year the switch was made.
_______________
This one is only one year younger, but has a severely damaged stamp already.

I have three of these JCP 1997's, all sharing the same speckeled egg- like belly with the almost gone 2nd stamp.
_______________
Here we have the 3rd stamp with the wrong year. Since the JCP 1997 above still has the older stamp, but this '97/'98 QHS has the newer stamp, this switch must have been around '97/'98 too...

...and it looks about the same for the two different stamped leopard #59973's below.
