我的故事

從台灣交通大學畢業後，在台北、瑞典先後工作了五年多的時間。

從小一直希望有機會到美國來體驗學生生活，因為先生的支持，我們全家在西元2000年到紐約市曼哈頓開始了兩年的留學生涯。在哥倫比亞大學的教育學院裡攻讀科技教育碩士的兩年其間，是我一生中美好的回憶。

西元2002年畢業後，在明州開始教書的工作。由於思鄉情切，於是開始在明州雙城中文學校教中文。

我自學日文與法文，知道學習另一種語言的快樂與困難。因此我非常希望把我學習的經驗與我的學生分享。但願學習語文能幫助你開啟更認識這個世界的一扇窗。

My story

After graduating from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan, I worked in different companies for more than 5 years.

Due to my husband's support, I decided to fulfill my dream to study in USA companied with my husband and 2-year-old son. In the year 2000, I started my master degree in Columbia University, Teachers College in Manhattan, New York city. It was a wonderful adventure and great memory for me and my family who come from the big city, Taipei, Taiwan.

In 2002, I got a job in St. Paul, Minnesota and moved to this cold-winter city. This job was a great fit to what I learned in Columbia; however, my desire of connecting my Chinese culture with more people is getting stronger. I prayed for the opportunity. Then, I got the chance to teach Chinese in Minnesota Twin City Chinese School.

I would like to help more people especially young Chinese Americans to know their language and culture. This is why I dedicate this website to all the people who share the same feeling with me.
