Artifact for Standard - Professional Development Portfolio (EDA 6196, Summer 2012)
Reflection - The artifact that I chose for this standard is the Professional Development Portfolio Assignment because showcases my accomplishments, abilities and plans for the future. I choose this artifact because part of the PDP included an individual competency assessment and I choose technology as an area where I can continue to improve. The recommendations that I made for changes in professional practices regarding the use of technology in support of student learning is to continue staying abreast of the newest technology. I will do this by reading current blogs and articles about ed tech. Additionally, I will become an advocate for obtaining more mobile technology devices in schools and the use of educational apps to aide student learning.

Artifact for Standard - Why Mobile Technology Prezi (EDA 6910, Fall 2013)
Reflection - For this artifact I choose a "Why Mobile Technoogy" Prezi multimedia presentation that I created as a professional development tool for teachers and staff to instruct a course on the use of mobile technology in the early childhood classroom. The Prezi is a compilation of multiple types of data that was collected about research, benefits and suggested ways to appropriately use mobile devices for educational use in classrooms. It included text, images and YouTube video in a linear way to engage the audience. The presentation was shared with district staff members.
