Geography: The study of the earth and all of its variety.
Geography Standards:
7.1.1 Explain different uses of maps. Example: political, physical, topographical, thematic, cartograms.
7.1.2 Identify purposes, distinguishing characteristics, and limitations of different map projections. Example: Mercator, conic, polar, Robinson.
7.1.3 Interpret world maps, charts, graphs and diagrams to acquire information about people, places, and environments.
