Problem: The PPT used to support face to face educational group sessions for families admitted with asthma included inconsistent graphics, no institutional branding, and forced trainers into a linear format for education despite different learner levels.
Solution: A new PPT that included new graphics, a table of contents so trainers can freely target specific topics based on learner needs.
Product: PowerPoint
Problem: The original PPT was used in face-to-face information sessions for parents and teachers on strategies they can use to improve executive function of children with ADHD. It was text heavy and duplicative to what the SMEs were communicating verbally. The SMEs received a donor gift to improve this education and share it with more families and faculty asynchronously.
Solution: A new PPT was initially created that moved the bulk of the text on the slides to the notes feature and used graphics to support the information presented. This was the backbone for recorded lectures. This content chunked and integrated into an interactive learning experience built in Articulate Rise.
