Marlborough Township

A relatively small community with a population of about 3,200, Marlborough Township is largely rural and unspoiled and remains protected by ordinances that promote- responsible development. Large areas are permanently preserved as Open Space and will remain forever green. The Township works to sustain the character and lifestyle treasured by residents and visitors while respecting the rights of property owners.

PUBLIC NOTICE - The proposed 2024 Marlborough Township Budget is available for public review (click here). The Board of Supervisors will consider adoption of the final budget and tax levy resolution, which will include a tax increase for 2024, during their monthly meeting on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Marlborough Township building at 6040 Upper Ridge Road, Green Lane, PA. 


PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Township Municipal Building. To view the Agenda, click here.


ROAD WORK 

Tuesday, December 5th - Friday, December 8th from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM a pipe replacement is scheduled on Swamp Creek Road in Marlborough Township. Swamp Creek Road will be closed and detoured between Whites Mill Road and Geryville Pike.


During the closures, motorists are directed to use the posted detours. Local access will be maintained.


ANNUAL TOY DRIVE - The Marlborough Police Department is hosting their 10th Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Last day for donations is December 20th by 12:00 PM. Please see FLYER for more information.

PennDOT - Road Concerns and Complaints - If you have a maintenance concern related to a State-Maintained Roadway, such as potholes or dead deer, please call 1-800-FIX-ROAD or click here.

PECO - If you experience low hanging wires, power outage or smell gas in the area you are urged to call PECO Emergency at 1-800-841-4141.  To report dead trees or assistance with trees and vegetation fill out the online form - Click Here

2023 Skymount Lake Fishing Permits - Fishing permits are available during normal business hours at the Township Office, the Police Department, Boulder Woods Campground or by mailing the application with the necessary information and fees.
