A relatively small community with a population of about 3,520, Marlborough Township is largely rural and unspoiled and remains protected by ordinances that promote- responsible development. Large areas are permanently preserved as Open Space and will remain forever green. The Township works to sustain the character and lifestyle treasured by residents and visitors while respecting the rights of property owners.

STREET SWEEPING
MARLBOROUGH TOWNSHIP AND GREEN LANE BOROUGH
Beginning in Green Lane Borough on May 14th until May 21st, weather permitting.
Please REMOVE ALL VEHICLES from roadways and keep streets clear of trash / recycling bins, basketball hoops, and other obstructions during this time. A schedule will be posted prior.
PUBLIC AUCTION NOTICE
Starting May 12, 2026, Marlborough Township will conduct a public auction through Zettlemoyer Auction Co. LLC of a Bank Barn and its contents at Finland Road Park. Please see FLYER for more information.
ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 7:00pm to hear the application of Brecknock Builders, LLC, agent for RKCH Investments LLC, for the property located at 4095 Commerce Drive; Green Lane, PA 18054. To see the entire notice click here.
PARKS AND RECREATION MEETING LOCATION CHANGE
The Parks and Recreation Board will meet on Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:00PM at Finland Road Park (3320 Finland Road, Pennsburg) and Wednesday, August 5th at 7:00PM at Skymount Lake Park (3073 Long Road, Green Lane). NOTICE
PICK UP PENNSYLVANIA -Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, a community improvement program, has events scheduled from March 1st through May 31. Free trash bags, gloves, and safety vests will be provided by PADEP for those participating in the Pick Up Pennsylvania program. FLYER

🦺PennDOT - Road Concerns and Complaints - If you have a maintenance concern related to a State maintained roadway, such as potholes or dead deer, please call 1-800-FIX-ROAD or click here to use the online form. To report dead deer on Township or County maintained roadways, please call the PA Game Commission at 610-926-3136.

2026 Skymount Lake Fishing Permits - Fishing permits are available during normal business hours at the Township Office, the Police Department, Boulder Woods Campground or by mailing the application with the necessary information and fees.
