Parks and Open Space

The Finland Road Park is located just off of Upper Ridge and is the perfect recreation spot for all seasons.  From ice skating in the winter to volley ball in the summer or trail walking in the spring and fall, there is always something to do.  The pavilion can be rented for private parties and the playground area is perfect for the little ones. 

The Fishing Rodeo is a very popular privately sponsored event held each year at the pond in Finland Road Park.   It is open to the public.

Located on Magazine Road, the Unami Creek is perfect for those families who want to fish and play!  With a playground for small children, pavilion for picnicking and a place for the fisherman in the family, you can spend a fun filled day at the park

Trails and paths are being planned for this beautiful area.  This park is surrounded by private property; please be aware of your location on the preserve and stay on township property. 

Located on Swamp Creek Road on the Unami Creek.  A popular fishing area.  Has no other facilities.

Marlborough Township, was awarded a $40,000 Grant by DCNR Bureau of Recreation and Conservation for the Rehabilitation of Finland Road Park.  The the renovations and improvements will include renovation of pedestrian walkway and parking area; construction of pavilion; installation of play equipment with required safety surfacing; ADA access, landscaping, project sign and other related site improvements. 

Marlborough Township was the recipient of the 2018 PECO Green Region Program in which the Township a received $10,000 Grant to be used for the ADA Floating Dock with Kayak Launch that was installed at Skymount Lake.  

This environmentally friendly dock provides observation for bird watching, fishing pier and easy launching for kayaks and canoes. The Township is extremely grateful for the PECO Green Region grant which provides residents and visitors a place to enjoy the open space.
