The Green Lane-Marlborough Joint Authority (GLMJA) currently provides sewer service with 619 connections consisting of 556 Residential and 63 Commercial and Other Classifications. Green Lane Borough has 199 Residential & 30 Commercial/Other, and Marlborough Township has 357 Residential & 32 Commercial/Other. This is comprised of 172 Customers in Green Lane Borough and 324 Customers in Marlborough Township, for a total of 496 Quarterly Customer Sewer Rental Invoices.  It is a self-supporting public agency that charges rates adequate to fund the Authority's operating and maintenance costs, debt service obligations, and ongoing capital improvement needs.

The agency is responsible for protecting the public's investment in the sewer system, minimizing maintenance costs, reducing the possibility of pipeline breaks, blockages, and spills, and keeping sewer rates affordable.

The Authority works diligently to efficiently manage the sewer system while complying with stringent Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) regulations.  In the past decade, the Authority has remained steadfast in providing a safe and reliable wastewater treatment system.
