Absent: none

Content: ran Act 3, worked with Coly's dancing scenes, worked parts of I.ii

Next Call: Thursday, 10/30/14, 3:30-5:30

Called: All

Content: Line-Through with Abby and Emma:

  • The purpose of a line-through is generally to show that you know all your lines and cues and can eliminate most of the air and pauses, but this one is a little early in the game, so we'll be working on accents, intonation, and making sure you understand what your lines mean as we read through the play.

  • If you have 70 lines or less, please please please try to be off book for this run. This means: John, Evan, Sam H, Genna, Shelbie, Clara, Elizabeth H, Emma, Hannah, Elizabeth M, and Kate.

  • Coly and Brannon, if you have most of your lines memorized, that's awesome.

  • Jack, Sam, Mary-Dryden, Naomi, and Gwyneth can be shaky with lines because you all have over a hundred/Gwyneth has 246...

  • If anyone has any questions, just e-mail maggielwalkerdrama@gmail.com before Thursday.

Props Notes (Let us know if you have any of these!): Plate/small bowl for candy, bald "Costanza" cap, case with reading glasses, crate of fireworks, couch, love seat, typewriter paper (possibly with actual typewriter-y words on it), darts set, lots of little pencils and pads, ornate wall clock, area rugs, lots of random paper handouts that you don't want anymore, small table(s), anything super random we can throw onto the stage and pretend it's the 1930's...

Homework:

Come to set construction this Saturday, from 9am-4pm, if you can! We've gotten a ton done, and if we haven't seen you there by the time we're completely done, we may yell at you.

With the exception of Mary-Dryden, Sam M, Gwyneth, and Naomi (they have the most lines), you are expected to be off-book by November. Keep in mind, however, that if we've already blocked a scene, the next time we get to that scene you should be much, much less dependent on your book so we can tweak other parts of the scene without you looking at your scripts.
