Greetings!
Below is a note from a colleague looking to investigate some wildland fires to complete his NWCG INVF task book before July. Please consider him for any wildland fire – grass-weeds-prairie-woods.
Thanks for the hand,

All,
I am asking for a favor from the folks receiving this email. I am currently a Trainee for Wildland Fire Investigation, INVF, with a Taskbook set to expire in June. If anyone gets a fire, could you please contact me to investigate, even if it’s not that big of incident? All the steps that I have left are for Wildfire and one for Incident, but it involves reporting and following steps from wildland. I am currently the District 2 Director for CIAAI, and have a few years of experience doing fires, but I need to get this signed off. With the wet years we have had the last two years I have been unable to catch any fires close to here so I can complete the book. Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. I am always available, and my chief is willing to let me travel for a bit, so I could be extra hands in anything else. If anyone has questions or gets a call that they could use me one my contact information is below. Thank you
