Hi Colleagues,
We are gearing up for a great conference this year. All of you are either registered for the conference or instructing this year. Registration will begin around 7 Wednesday morning in the lobby of the Centennial Ballroom(2nd Floor of event center). We will start an introduction that morning at 8am in the Centennial Ball Room E and F for all attendees. Everyone will be on their own for breakfast Wednesday morning. Some options would be the restaurant or the village market store which are both located on the premises. I will be sending each track links to a drop box which will include information from your instructors. There is wifi in the conference rooms or you can print the materials out. Don’t forget to take advantage of the Aria Athletic Club and Spa during your free time.
This year we are doing things a little different:
Breakfast Thursday and Friday will be in the Atwater Restaurant. You will be getting breakfast vouchers in your registration bag.
Lunches will be in the Cascade Ballroom like last year.
Wednesday night everyone will be receiving a drink coupon for the bar. The drink coupon will be in your registration bag. Please plan on attending, it will be a great way to network with other investigators throughout the state and make dinner plans for that night. Also for that night the Atwater Restaurant
Thursday night we are set up right now to have a cash bar before the dinner. We may have a sponsor for a happy hour before the dinner but that is still in the works. After the dinner we will be having our IAAI Colorado Chapter annual board meeting. If you are interested in becoming more involved in your chapter or would like to know about the chapter this would be a great meeting to attend. Board members and Directors get a discount on the registration fees for the conference for their commitment through the year. The meeting will not go to long so that you can still enjoy the nightlife in Vail.
You will receive a scan tron form in your registration packet that will be used for all your tests for the conference. Each instructor has specific question numbers and will be issuing the test at the end of each class.
If anybody is interested, we would love some items from your area or work place to give away as door prizes. We had some great items from other agencies and would love to see more stuff this year. If you do bring some items up, please find Sue Cullen because she will be running the door prizes.
Right now the weather looks to be in the mid 60’s with lows at night in the 30’s. So dress appropriately and drive careful. Here is a link to directions to the hotel

We will many companies and agencies sponsoring our event like Fire Marshal Association of Colorado, Colorado Premier Restoration, Columbia Southern University, Tecgen, Jones and Bartlett, Kinsco, Great Lake Analytical and much more. If anyone has any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. See you all next weeks.
