even though you cloud make PCB, use all kind of quick prototype method for you circuits, prototype board always needed for time to time.
The problem is that a decent quality prototype board is quite expensive. i had a bunch of crap such things hurts me really bad. On the other hand, I often entertain my little boy by making some simple magic circuits use prototype board, you can imagine the mall hole is the major problem for boys, plugin thin lead to the holes is somehow challenge .
Use 2mm banana connector make a prototype board attract me for very long time. we gonna pay some price for this, like we need a dip8 conversion board, make dip8 transfer to use 2mm plugin leads. and several TO-92, TO-220 socket converter too.
the most painful thing is resistor and capacitor, a simple solution is just soldering several universal value like 1k, 2.2k, 3.3k, 4.8k etc. and won't let guys change the capacitor/resistor value.
and as supplemental stuff, provide several axle socket to experimental critical resistor/capacitor value, seems enough for quick a lots needs.
There is does had such things on sell, but it's very huge, like a desk, and expensive around $700. both unacceptable.
Use 3D print plus K2A31 sockets, we cloud make a 400 holes board (half size of a standard prototype holes board), and the dimension expanded to around 2 times for each direction, 4 times area.
