First built, 3 years ago

The most attractive thing is the Differential for this car.

while everything come to together,  it's magic moment.

then I dive into RC car, never came out again. I printed with PLA which is definitely not recommended.  but, so what.

ooh, experience repairing car every one or several minutes  playing is awesome for fist several days. then you will headache,  there is no time to enjoy drive, everything you do is repairing. anyway, at that moment, exciting exceed everything other.

PLA ties is really not a good choice, soft filaments is expensive than buy ties directly. so, I got this.

Strong plastic ?

2 years ago my Car is full PLA printed.

Most hard problem is the dog-bone cup broken. even tough i make lots of improvements, it still broken anytime.

lately i found the 550 brushed motor is so hot, i burned several motor for that reason. i decide to add a gearbox for the RC car. and this is what i got.

Metal Drive line

2018/2

after a differential broken, the car been put somewhere for almost 2 years, i kind of lost interesting.  but recently  i found several metal line drive systems been designed on thingiverse.

i decied to do a upgrade printed differential to HSP02024, which cost so little money , about $3 for each differential, total under $15.

the center differential need to be modified. front rear based on

center differential based on :

i modified the design and make it compatible to my own gear box.

It's pretty strong, yes, it's metal,  driving is so happy. and guess what, like every rc fan, i starting to wonder if the 3D print RC car cloud be more

strong and more violent?  after all for now, I got only 15km/h speed which is pretty slow than a normal RC car.
