Property developer, Mutiara Goodyear Development Bhd, has launched its second development, the Nadayu 92 in Kajang.
This follows the success of its flagship development,Nadayu,in Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. Nadayu 92 spans approximately 68.6 acres (27.7 hectares) of freehold land.
To be launched in three phases, the project has a gross development value of RM230 million.
"We are targeting growing families of dual income with young children, and aim to provide a decent controlled living environment at affordable prices," said its executive chairman, Hamidon Abdullah here today.
"The starting price at RM420,000 should allow the young family to comfortably purchase our houses.
"The challenge hereafter for us as a responsible developer, is to usher in the management of this new community into one that is integrated and cohesive within a safe, secure, clean and hygienic environment," he added.
Phase one of the project comprises 77 units of double-storey terrace houses, 22 units of 2.5 storey and 20 units of three-storey homes.
"If the project sees good demand, we will continue to the fourth phase," Hamidon said.
While the double-storey terrace units start from RM420,000, the 2.5 storey units are priced from RM593,000 and three-storey homes from RM699,000.
The development of phase one is expected to be completed by 2012.
According to Hamidon, the company which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia,is more interested in residential development and has currently a landbank of about 1000 acres (404.68 hectares) in the Klang Valley and Penang.
"For next year we have projects in Penang, Sunway and possibly Cyberjaya. "The total value of all projects to be launched next year is RM1.6 billion," he said.-- Bernama
