PAUL DUWE

It is with great sadness that I must inform you all that Paul Duwe collapsed and passed away on his way home from West Didsbury's match at the Klondyke last night. He was just 51.

Paul was always friendly and was a lovely person who was very enthusiastic about his snooker. He had been playing in the league since 2007, so many of you will have known him and played against him for many years. He had played 249 matches in the league, winning 126, including a final victory in his frame last night.

Our condolences go to his mother and brother, his wider family and friends, and to his teammates at this very sad time. Rest in peace Paul.
