CHURCH HILL COTTAGE

THE OLD SCHOOL ALL THAT REMAINS OF THE OLD SCHOOL

AKA LANTEGLOS CHURCH COTTAGE

Locals remember being told that it was a church school and cost a penny a day to attend. In the 1950s the grave digger kept his tools in the derelict building. From the census information it can be seen that it was a school in 1911 whether it was a school much before this date is not recorded. From 1841 to 1881 in is recorded as the Sexton's Cottage.
