BRWP watershed issues

  1. The Bonnechere River has a water management plan under the auspices of OMNRF which was to be updated as of 2013 and is still languishing. It deals almost exclusively with water levels; very little on flow; virtually nothing on ecological condition. Renfrew Power Generation is the managing waterpower operator. They have a long history of excedances which OMNRF has chosen to ignore.
