Family Tree
The Knox Mackey Pidgeon Crosbie Family tree, could be expanded to the
Knox, Mackey,Pidgeon (and Scanlon),Kirwan,Crosbie,Keenan,Caffrey, Cotter, Kiernan, Mangan, Meehan, Reilly, Kelly, McAnally etc. taking in all the families. The name of the site stems from the names of my four grandparents. In reality contained herein are four separate tree's i.e
Knox Family Tree
Mackey Family Tree
Pidgeon Family Tree
Crosbie Family Tree
So far I have not found gold, property, nobility, etc. As such going back before 1820-1845 is quesswork. We could choose to take a family tree from someone in the 1700-1820 period, but alas we would be deluding ourselves . You may say no harm in that, and I tend to agree, but I cannot find that someone with Cash, Gold, Acre's in Western Australia nor other such with less humble beginnings than our lot.
The family is about Dublin, the people that came here in the mid 19th century i.e The Keenan's from Crossmaglen, the Mackeys from Cork, intermingled with the Knox's, the Pidgeon's, the Crosbie's and Caffrey's who came slightly earlier.

One important note for Knox Males. Your Y-DNA dates back at least 2000 years. Ancient Y-DNA found of a male soldier has been found in Denmark. It matches all Knox Males included in these files!
NOTE :- In addition to this site, I also have prepared private site's with the individual and complete Family Tree's (warts and all). Hence it is not open to all, contact me to gain access.
