Embedded Files
Working with financial data such as stock charts, I often need to import text strings that represent calendar dates into spread sheets such as Excel , Open Office or Google Sheet. Sometimes there are problems with date infomation due to different formats they had been brought in the files originally. After some researches I come up with solutions by using the function DATEVALUE() to convert a text string into a date value (integer format), then in tern reformat it info other desired spread sheet date formats as shown in the picture below.
