With Google Earth Pro, you can record mouse movements or KML tours out as movie files. This is valuable as you can show people Google Earth without having the client downloaded, or show information without worrying about connection speeds. There are two ways to record a movie, 1) by mouse movements and 2) record from an existing tour. Recording from an existing tour is more reliable and produces a better result.
To record a movie from a tour:
Select the tour you want to record the movie from
Go to Tools -> Movie Maker
if the movie maker option is grayed out, be sure that the tour controls are turned off
Select the movie settings you want, and when you hit record movie, it will slowly record a movie based on the tour you selected.
