Altitude - height of a placemark or camera above the terrain
Anisotropic Filtering - enhancing the image quality of textures on surfaces that are at oblique viewing angles where the projection of the texture appears to be non-orthogonal
Attribution - labeling on imagery of providers
Balloon - information windows displayed in the Google Earth. Most commonly accessed when clicked on a Placemark
Cache - temporary data storage so requests for that data can be served faster.
Clamp to Ground - a setting that tells Features to stay on the surface
Collada - the model filetype that Google Earth reads
DAE - the Collada filetype file name extension
Decimal Degrees - degree format that is 12.3456°,78.91011°
Degrees, Minutes, Seconds - Decimal format that is 12°34'56.789"
Elevation - the height of the terrain above sea level
Email - a tool in Google Earth allowing you to email a screenshot, KML of the current view or selected Placemark or folder.
Extrude - to pull up a shape from 2D to 3D
Eye Altitude - The altitude of the camera above the terrain
Feature - any Placemark, Polygon, Path or model in Google Earth
Folder - a file organization tool used in the Sidebar
Gallery - a site that hosts interesting and educational Google Earth maps
Ground Level View - viewing Google Earth
Heading - the direction the camera is facing. A heading of 0° is north, 180° South etc.
Historical Imagery - a tool for viewing imagery from older collection dates

Tour - a recorded and re-playable movement
Tour Controls - controls that come up during a tour that allow you to play, pause and rewind a tour
Tour Guide - a filmstrip on the bottom of the screen allowing you to explore Google Earth
Wait - the time that the camera will pause between two placemarks
Zoom - getting closer to something with navigation tools
