This prediction is from a long time ago, so be fair warned.
In one term, the American public has seemed not to like Obama all that much. He had a Red Tidal Wave crash on his government, losing him loads of governor seats, house seats, and senate seats. While the economy still seems quite good, it's still not quite there, and he seems to have done a half-ast job at fixing the economy.
Romney definitely has an advantage: that being he's different than what has been offered. He brings unique arguments to the table. But Obama is the sitting president in office, giving him an advantage.
I won't give editable maps for this, because it was so long ago.
