Remove Chocks and Drive Off Leveling Boards

We're almost ready to depart now. There are just a couple of things left to do.

First, we remove the chocks placed behind the trailer tires and stow these in the appropriate outside compartment.

Finally, Donna pulls the trailer up far enough so that I can remove the boards from under the tires. I usually just store these in the back of the truck, for we will probably use them at our next stop later that day.

By this time, I'm often a mess. After all, I've played with sewer hoses and done all sorts of things to prep the trailer for leaving. Quite often, I want to clean up some. If we have a long drive, I will often take a shower. I can either do this at the public facilities or in the trailer. Since our trailer has a fresh water tank, I can use our pump to use that resource for a quick shower. I always keep a few gallons of water in that tank for such purposes.

Regardless, I do spend a few minutes cleaning up some before we hit the road to our next destination.
