Total Quality Management for Small Businesses
This program is meant for Owners/Managers of Small Scale Enterprises. If you are managing a company, which is threatened by competition under this liberalized business environment, then you must participate in this program along with your employees. Our objective is to help companies move toward a cycle of continuous quality improvement. TQM will help you in identifying and cutting down wastes, reducing inefficiencies and bringing down non-conformances, thereby reducing costs and improving your organization’s performance.
The course contents will cover the various concepts, tools and techniques that are necessary for a structured approach to implementation of TQM. Your aim for continuous process improvement would expect you (as a team) to understand your process, your customers and your stakeholders. You will also be expected to design a proper measurement framework to help you monitor your process performance and take necessary actions for improvement. Detailed course content along with the working agenda can be obtained from the course director. Please do contact him at the address given below.
The unique feature of this package will be to help you design and develop a customized follow-up module meant to track the progress of the various improvement activities conceptually initiated in this first module. This feature gives you the scope to develop your own customized toolkit for continuous improvement (details available on request). The first module has been scheduled as per the particulars given below. The second module being more customized will be scheduled as per mutual convenience. We want companies participating in this program to avail the opportunities for developing long term relationships with XIM.
This program will also be helpful in catering to the quality needs of large Organizations, such as, TISCO, NALCO, HAL, SAIL, L&T, IMFA, NTPC, GRIDCO, OHPC and other enterprises located in this region. Hence, we urge small industries doing business with these large Organizations to enroll in this program. After going through this program you will find it easier to assimilate the concepts related to our next program titled "Supply Chain Management". For more details please contact the course director.
