Cross Bucks Way

The Cross Bucks Way is described as a 24-mile walk across Buckinghamshire from west to east, from Stratton Audley to Old Linslade. We decided to walk it in the opposite direction, starting from the Greensand Ridge Walk and the Grand Union Canal at Old Linslade near Leighton Buzzard. Unfortunately, after an abortive attempt to walk the first leg in October 2017 (in which we only managed to cover 3.5 miles, from Leighton Buzzard to Hollingdon) we investigated on OpenStreetMap and discovered that the route does not really exist to the east of Addington (where it links with the North Bucks Way), so if and when we resume our walk we'll start from there.

The path is signposted (occasionally!) with rather plain "Cross Bucks Way" signs. It rather obligingly all sits on one double-sided Ordnance Survey Explorer Sheet, 192: Buckingham & Milton Keynes.
