"Artist & Healer as One"

Using visual art, colour, crystals, sound, scent & taste to all flow together in creating an aesthetic embrace of the heart, body, mind and soul.

Joanna is a Visionary Artist & Writer who celebrates life through the sun. For over 20 years she has traveled throughout Mexico painting, writing and studying the Cosmic Universe.  Born and raised on the West Coast of B.C. Canada, Joanna has found a symbiotic flow with the East Coast of the Riviera Maya in the Yucatan of Mexico, where she continues to explore at every opportunity between time on the West Coast of Canada.  Combining her early education as a Colour Therapist, her passion for art, and life experiences, she creates a platform to be reflected in her work.  Inspired by the mystery of the ocean, the warmth of the sun and the light of the stars and moon in the night skies, her art is born with enthusiasm and an inner vision.

Having mentored with local Canadian Artists such as James Picard & Robert Genn and studying art abroad in San Miguel de Alende along with fundamental learning at Langara College and a basis in Gold Smithing and Jewellery Design at VCC.  A broad spectrum of experience has been accumulated and added to Joanna’s style and techniques.

Joanna’s paintings and art installations have been featured in numerous solo and group exhibits and festivals in Canada, from Harrison Hot Springs to West Vancouver & the Sunshine Coast B.C. and in Tulum & Puerto Morelos, MX.  Her labyrinth work has been featured on HGTV’s “That’s Clever” and a published article in ‘Labyrinth’s of British Columbia – A Guide for Your Journey’, highlighting her public art installation in Langley B.C. at Sendall Gardens.  Joanna’s art can be found internationally with collections in Japan, Switzerland, Mexico, Netherlands, USA and Canada, with artwork also available in various private,  retail and gallery locations in B.C. Canada and Puerto Morelos Mexico.

In designing an entry point to share through Sacred Geometry Joanna primarily works with the Labyrinth, Mandalas and the Seed of Life to continue on a journey of transformation, learning, healing and community. Most of her paintings reflect the symbolism of divine sacred geometry, whether as a sunflower, an abstract piece or a complex geometric design, you will find this common thread woven into her work.

Practicing the Sacred Healing Arts for over 30 years, with her early studies in aromatherapy, kinesiology, colour, sound, crystals, light, reiki & herbology.  An evolution of learning on her path involving mayan shamanism and cosmology with Maya-Itza Elder/Shaman Hunbatz Men & Dr. Carl Johan Calleman.  Further art therapies studies with the Universe of Florida brings Joanna to where she is now.

In following this path a joining of the Artist & Healer as One has occurred to further guide  and flow into  her future directions.   She continues to learn through the process of creation with others and in the sharing of knowledge, the learning becomes even more profound.

To further expand her horizons she offers instruction, gatherings, retreats, private sessions, 3D installations, and collaborative projects, assisting others through a creative outlet on their journey.

' The purpose she shares on the journey of life is to plant seeds of creation through art & knowledge, inspiring others to know, be, trust, see & love who they are.'
