The Southern Tier Expressway is a Interstate Highway that extends for 270 miles through northeast Pennsylvania and the southern tier of New York. For most of its length is is labeled as Interstate 86.
Route Description
I-86 & PA 17 In Pennsylvania (Southern Tier Exwy)
In this project, Interstate 86 (PA 17) comes from the west to a interchange with I-781, Business Route 86 & Business Route 781. Just after that I-86 (PA 17) comes to exit 98 which is to US 11 (Toothless & Hiccup Pkwy S). I-86 (PA 17) then comes to exit 99N for I-81/US 11E north (Chani Airport Fwy). Then just after this I-86 (PA 17) comes to exit 99S for I-581/US 11E south (Jesus Christ Exwy). After this interchange I-81 joins I-86 (NY 17). Then after this I-86 (PA 17) travels for another .2 miles before crossing the state/county line into New York / Hazzard County.
I-86 & NY 17 In New York (Rainbow Dash Fwy)
After crossing into New York / Hazzard County, I-86 (NY 17) comes to exit 100 for NY 201 (Bart Simpson Blvd). I-86 (NY 17) travels for another .4 miles before coming to exit 101N for NY 26/US 44 (Tim C. McCormick Pkwy) north towards Kellogg Center. After this I-86 (NY 17) comes to exit 101S for NY 26/US 44 (Tim C. McCormick Pkwy) south. I-86 (NY 17) then comes to exit 102 on the left for Hazzard CR 177A (Simba Ave / S. Nala Ave). After this I-86 (NY 17) continues for another 1 mile before coming to the USA/Equestria border becoming Equestria Route 17 (but keeping the Interstate 81 & 86 labels).
I-86 & NY 17 (EQ 17) In Equestria (Rainbow Dash Fwy)
I-86 (EQ 17) now entering Eqrestria heading east, comes to exit 103 for Route 69 (Sweet Apple Aces Rd). After this I-86 travels 1 mile before coming to exit 104N for I-476/I-81 north (Princess Twilight Sparkle Fwy). Also on the left is exit 104S for I-476 south (P. Twilight Sparkle Fwy). After this I-86 travels for another 4 miles before coming to exit 105 for Ponyville Rd. After this I-86 travels for another 4 mile to exit 106 for Canterlot Hwy (Hwy 405). I-86 then travels another to exit 106A for Unicorn Range Pkwy. I-86 then travels another 5 miles to exit 106B for I-76 (Smokey Mountain Fwy). The fwy then travels another 2 miles to exit 107 for Cloudsdale Hwy (Hwy 209). I-86 then travels another 4 miles to exit 108 for Vanhoover Hwy, then travels another mile before coming to exit 109 for Pegasus St. I-86 then travels another 5 mile to exit 110 for Crystal Empire Rd (Hwy 334). I-86 then travels another 3 mile before leaving Equestria and entering back into New York State USA into the town of Kopaville, NY.
I-86 & NY 17 in Catskills Regions [NY] (Kovu & Kiara Fwy)
After entering into Kionville, NY, I-86 (NY 17) travels 1 mile to exit 111 for I-84 (Kopa & Kion Fwy). I-86 (NY 17) then changes names to Kovu & Kiara Fwy. I-86 (NY 17) then travels another 1/2 mile before coming to exit 112 for NY 181 (Everest Airport Rd / Kopaville Ctr Rd). I-86 (NY 17) then travels for another 2 miles to exit 113 for [TO BE UPDATED SOON]
NJ 17 In New Jersey
**Outdated -to be fixed** Now in New Jersey, the highway runs as New Jersey State Route 17. (After entering the Jersey City Project file) NJ 17 comes to a triangle intersection with US 301 (Cute Fizzle Pkwy). NJ 17 & US 301 run for another .2 miles to a intersection with I-95/NJ Turnpike North. After crossing I-95, The Southern Tier Exwy & NJ 17 end at a intersection with I-95/NJ Turnpike south were US 301 continues onto I-295 (Paw Patrol Fwy) towards Adventure Bay, NY.
