NY 25/I-878 & NY 878 (Paw Patrol Fwy & Cross County Pkwy)

(Redirected from "NY 25")

I-295 & I-878/NY 878 (Paw Patrol Fwy & Cross County Pkwy) is a project underway to upgrade the current NY 25 & US 301 (NJ) (Cute Fizzle Pkwy) to interstate standards. The portion of Cute Fizzle Pkwy (NY 25) from NJ/NY state line to the new interchange with I-278 (Gia & Nala Tpk) would be renamed "Paw Patrol Fwy (I-195)" and the portion of Cute Fizzle Pkwy from the new interchange with I-278 (Gia & Nala Tpk) to US 1-9 (GeeCupcake Blvd) would become "Paw Patrol Pkwy (NY 25)". This also includes adding a new parkway from the eastern end of I-878 (I-278 Gia & Nala Tpk) to I-280 which will be named Cross County Parkway and be numbered NY 878 (A NY continuation of I-878).

Projects

* Cute Fizzle Pkwy from US 301 in New Jersey to US 1-9 (GeeCupcake Blvd) will be renamed "Paw Patrol Fwy & Pkwy"

*The current portion of Cute Fizzle Pkwy from PA 100 (Empire Blvd) in Kit Hawking City, PA to the US 301 (Martin & Chani Cr. Is. Pkwy) interchange will not change

* The highway (NY 25) in New York State is being renamed "Paw Patrol Fwy" after the city of "Paw Patrol City" in New York. See its Wiki Page by clicking here

US 301 (Cute Fizzle Pkwy) [To NY 25] & I-95 (NJ Turnpike)

This project is to replace the interchange (or some of it) so it meets interstate standards as the current interchange has traffic lights (which are not allowed on interstates)

NY 25

This project is to upgrade the current (Cute Fizzle Pkwy / NY 25) to a elevated interstate highway through the city of Paw Patrol City. Along with the elevated highway will be a new interchange with the new state road (NY 25B) which is to be named "Everest Blvd"[1] which will connect the new freeway with the new theme park "Paw Patrol World". A New interchange with the new freeway will be built to connect it to I-278 (Gia & Nala Tpk). Just before I-278 there will be ramps connecting to the current NY 25 surface streets that will be renamed from "Cute Fizzle Pkwy" to "Paw Patrol Pkwy". There will also be a new parkway (listed below) that will start from the frontage roads of I-878.

NY 878 (Cross County Pkwy)

Starting at the end of I-878 (I-878's west & east frontage roads) will be the new parkway named Cross County Parkway and will be numbered NY 878 as a New York state route of I-878. It will connect to I-280 at its eastern end.

Below is a Google Drawing of the NY 25 & US 301 telling about the changes.
