Fizzle & Spike Fwy (I-295/US 301) is the future freeway replacing the current "Cute Fizzle Pkwy (US 301)". The new freeway is being built (upgrading Cute Fizzle Pkwy) to be ready for the 40-70% traffic increase due to the opening of the new theme park "Paw Patrol World". Also NY 25 (Old Cute Fizzle Pkwy) is being upgraded to a interstate (I-878) as to connect to the new theme park (Paw Patrol World) via exit 4 (Everest Blvd (NY 25B) / Zuma Ave).
Being added to the I-95 & US 301 (Future I-295) Interchange
- On the I-95 South off-ramp will be 2 new right turn lanes onto US 301/I-295 East (and 1 left turn lane, 1 left turn lane combined with the right lane onto US 301/NJ 17 West)
- On the I-95 North off-ramp will be 2 new left turn lanes onto US 301/I-295 East (and 1or 2 right turn lanes onto US 301/NJ 17 West)
- On US 301/I-295 (1st Light) West will be 1 (Or 2) right turn lanes onto I-95 South.
- On US 301/I-295 (2nd Light) West will be 2 left turn lanes onto I-95 North (TO I-80 & I-280 (Christan S. Fwy) /I-278 (Gia & Nala Tpk) /I-78)
