Now that you have created your Web Site using Google Sites
it may be time to assign it a Domain Name
Google Sites - web address = http://sites.google.com/TheWebSiteNameYouHaveGivenIt
To purchase a Domain Name will run from $12 - $50+ depending on where you get it and what features you get with it.
Once you have purchased the Domain Name - you need to point it to your site.
You also need to tell your Domain Name Registry the cname
You can point up to 5 Domain Names to each Google Site it is the cheapest form of Advertising

STEPS on your Google Web Site:
1. Log into Google
2. More > Even More > Sites
3. Select the Google Site you are attaching a Domain Name to
4. More > Manage Site
5. Web Address
6. Enter the new URL ex. www.HortonsGarage.com
7. Enter information about the Site Description - give a sentence about the site. You may be told that the site has to be verified

When you MAP your .com where you purchased it, you will have 2 choices
1. to Forward - allows you to have Google Sites url's
2. Forward with Masking - only your Domain Name will appear in the Browser address bar
Then you will need to fill in the Title, Description and Keywords.
