SOIL

 SOIL:- soil in this region is mainly derived from the rocks, which is mainly silicious and aluminous. It is very rich in potash but very poor in lime, magnesia, nitrogen and phosphorous. The soil are an inter mixture of every thing scooped from mountain sides by the moving ice or the snow melt. The productivity of soil in this zone depends upon irrigation without which good yield is not possible.
